MOVIE 2: THE WORLD'S STRONGEST MAN
(KONO YO DE ICHIBAN TSUYOI YATSU)
Released: 10 March 1990
We hear an explosion and see a bright flash shoot out of a
mountain. We see an outstretched arm, and Piccolo growls. "I
should have known the Tsumatsubri Mountains would be like this!
They've been frozen solid for eternity. I, I can't even make a
scratch in them!"
The scene changes, and the Dragon Ball Radar fills the screen. It
beeps, and an indicator shows four Dragon Balls are gathered
somewhere. Oolong comments on how the Dragon Balls have been
gathering one after another since it first started about three
days earlier. The 4 changes to a 5 and Gohan says, "Look
Oolong! There's another one!" They talk, the Dragon Radar on
screen the entire time. A sixth Dragon Ball appears. There's a
view that takes in some white, frozen mountains, then we see a
small ship lying in the snow, with tracks leading away. Gohan
complains about how cold it is. They have a little scene that
goes back to Oolong and Gohan running around on Kamesennin's
island playing with the Dragon Radar. Kamesennin is sleeping with
a... shall we say, "inappropriate" magazine covering
his face, and Bulma's asleep under a beach umbrella. Oolong
confirms that Gohan didn't tell anyone where they went, and then
Gohan asks what Oolong will wish for from Shenlon. Oolong
giggles, and we see some panties fall out of the sky. Suddenly,
Oolong stops and sees that the seventh Dragon Ball has been
acquired.
We see all seven Dragon Balls now, flashing. An old man's voice
can be heard, saying "Come out, Shenlon! Come out and grant
me my request!" Shenlon emerges from the Dragon Balls with
the usual display.
Piccolo turns around when he sees this. "Hmm, what?!"
Gohan and Oolong see what's going on, as well.
Shenlon speaks. "Tell me what you desire. I will grant one
wish, no matter what it may be." The old man begins to talk
to Shenlon and make his wish.
"Shenlon, my mentor, Dr. Wheelo, lies frozen inside these
icy walls, that even the great sun cannot melt! I want you to
melt this frozen tomb, so that I can wake him up!"
Shenlon speaks once more. "As you wish." His eyes glow,
and he old man gasps. Ice begins to crumble and melt, and a
tremendous flood rushes through a canyon. Water and ice crash
down all around Shenlon and the old man, enormous glaciers
plummeting to the ground. We see a quick flash to what would
appear to be a human brain, enclosed in something, surrounded by
a liquid of some sort (presumably water, but you never can
tell...). "Your wish has been granted. And now, I bid you
farewell." The Dragon Balls shoot off into the sky.
Oolong and Gohan watch, gasping. "Dr. Wheelo is free! And
sweet revenge will soon be ours! After fifty years of waiting, we
can finally put our courageous plan into action! The world will
be ours!" He cackles evilly, as an enormous black structure
is revealed where once there was only ice.
Ice is drifting by in the newly formed river as Gohan and Oolong
approach the bank. Oolong, "What's this building doing
here?"
Gohan asks Oolong, "Do you feel that?" and we see the
brain again.
Back to Oolong and Gohan, Oolong says, "You mean that
uncomfortable creepy feeling?" Gohan ignores Oolong's
response, and begins to wonder aloud where the entrance might be.
Oolong suggests that it may be time to leave though, and suddenly
an odd little man jumps out of the ice in front of Oolong.
Gohan screams, "OOLONG!" and starts running to him, but
three more of the little guys emerge, and together, they beat
down Gohan. Suddenly, a green arm grabs them. We see Piccolo, and
while Gohan seems relieved (although he's damn weak by now, so
who wouldn't be glad for some help?) Oolong faints at the site of
him. All four men surround Piccolo, but he fights them all with
great ease, completely destroying one with a ki blast from the
mouth. "Mister...Pic...colo..." Piccolo then sees three
new fighters. While the others were all identical, these are
obviously the big guys. A yellow one, a green one, a pink one. A
red beam erupts straight out of the ground, surround Piccolo and
shooting off into the sky. Piccolo screams, but can't really do
anything about it.
Gohan awakes in a small cave under the ice with Oolong. "Mr.
Piccolo? Hey Oolong, wake up." Oolong looks around and asks
what happened, then Gohan explains that Piccolo rescued them.
They have a short conversation about Piccolo, then Oolong begins
reminding Gohan not to tell anyone where they were. They break
out of the ice, a tremendous waterfall rushing nearby with the
ominous building above it.
There's a view of the Son house, and Chichi says, "Gohan was
gone for three days, and he wouldn't tell me where he was or what
he was doing." Inside, Goku's doing pushups on his thumbs.
Chichi rants on, blaming Goku for Gohan's poor study habits. Goku
explains that he doesn't care if Gohan doesn't want to study as
long as he's happy and healthy. Chichi's taken aback, and Gohan
sits in his room studying, and listening to his parents fight.
He sighs, and leans back in his chair. He remembers Oolong
telling him that no one can know about this, then he sees Piccolo
standing over the little men again and wonders where Piccolo is.
He looks out the window, rocking in his chair, and decides to
become a great scholar. He has an odd litle dream, and Gohan sits
at a desk, working furiously as the books just keep piling up.
The stack reaches the sky, and they begin to fall, hitting Gohan
on the head. He then starts marching, leading a little glass
triangle-looking thing, a pencil, some books, and more crazy
crap. Then a little picture of Piccolo comes up, with Piccolo on
top of a rock formation and some planets in the background.
Gohan's school clothes fly up into the air and he jumps up in his
Piccolo outfit. Then, with Piccolo still standing on his rock
formation in the background, Gohan starts walking across the
planet Earth as it spins beneath him. No, this thing isn't over
yet, though. Gohan is next seen flying with a dinosaur, a book
and a sabre-toothed tiger, with his mom, apparently a bit angry,
flying across the screen in the background. Back once again to
Gohan walking across the Earth, except this time, he's being led
by Piccolo, who's apparently abandoned his rocks, which stand
alone in the background. The planet thing leaves, and just
Gohan's face pops up, smiling. Piccolo, serious. Gohan, smiling.
Piccolo, serious. Then, the scene from the Saiya-jin saga, in
which Piccolo is killed by Nappa's blast when he goes to save
Gohan. Gohan stands alone on a pink planet, then turns around.
Gohan's dream ends with Chichi yelling at him that it's dinner.
Chichi tells him to wake up, and he sits up. "It was a
dream?" Chichi asks about his progress on homework, and he
remarks that he's "almost done." She tells him to
hurry, then walks out and stops partway, talking to herself about
how he's never fallen asleep before while studying. She walks
out.
At Kame House, Oolong's punishment for stealing the Dragon Radar
is currently being carried out as he struggles to cook dinner. He
curses Bulma and says he only has to do this because she's such a
lousy cook. She suddenly appears from under the countertop, not
too happy about that last remark. Oolong's startled to find her
back there. She produces a black...thing, and asks what it is,
saying that it was burning in the oven. Oolong opens the oven and
black smoke pours out. Bulma decides she's got to get takeout
instead. The doorbell rings. Kamesennin's turtle goes outside and
finds the same guys who attacked Oolong and Gohan (although he
doesn't know that). They ask if this is Kamesennin's house, and
the turtle tells them that it is. They ask if he's home, and are
told that they're right again. Kamesennin comes outside after
they ask where he is, and black smoke billows out from the door,
as Kamesennin coughs and identifies himself. They order him to go
with them, saying that Dr. Wheelo wants to see him. They growl,
and Bulma comes out. Oolong walks out as well, and is frightened
when he ses them. The little guys attack Kamesennin, but he beats
them all pretty easily. The old man who summoned Shenlon
applauds, and compliments him. He says that Dr. Wheelo will be
happy to see him, but Kamesennin says he won't go. Apparently he
doesn't have a choice, as Bulma alerts him to the fact that she's
being held by the little men. She whimpers and jumps around. The
old man threatens Bulma, and Kamesennin agrees to go. A large
craft rises out of the water.
Then back to the Son home, where Goku's taking a bath in the old
metal barrel, sitting on a pair of cinder blocks over a fire.
Oolong has told Goku what happened, and Goku asks him if he knows
where they might be. Inside, Chichi's mad as all hell. She's
lecturing them on this, but Goku interrupts them, saying he's
going to help them. Gohan wants to go to, but Chichi won't let
him go. Goku runs out and summons Kintoun, and they fly off
together. Gohan tries to leave, but Chichi knows he's going and
stops him.
At the building in the ice again, we finally get to go inside.
Bulma's sitting on a chair, and Kamesennin stands nearby. It's
completely black. Kamesennin asks what they're going to do, and
tells them to let Bulma go. Of course, Bulma agrees with that. In
another room of the building, the old man stands infront of a
large viewscreen, displaying Kamesennin. He tells Dr. Wheelo that
he brought Kamesennin. Wheelo finally speaks. "Then get on
with it!" Bulma disappears into the floor, screaming. The
room is suddenly alive with noise, although still black.
Kamesennin hasn't any idea what's going on. Three doors open up,
and light pours into the room. Kamesennin appears to be
temporarily blinded. Three huge objects, one from each door, rush
towards Kamesennin. It's difficult to make them out, but you can
see that they're the same fighters that attacked Piccolo. They
run side by side towards Kamesennin, then stop nearby.
"What's going on?" The old man speaks once more, and
introduces the fighters. As it turns out, they're all
state-of-the-art biotechnical warriors. Kishime, the smaller
green one, Misokatsun, the yellow one, and Ebifurya, the pink
one. The man challenges Kamesennin, and he agrees to fight them.
The room lights up, and the three men attack Kamesennin all at
once. He takes them all on, having a hard time but not losing by
any means. The turtle master releases his signature move, the
blue ki blast, the Kamehameha. He hits Misokatsun in the stomach,
but Miso seems to be a bit elastic... his stomach keeps growing,
getting pushed back more, but otherwise, he doesn't move at all.
He grins devilishly at Kamesennin, then brings his stomach back,
throwing the Kamehameha right back at Kamesennin. He barely
dodges it, but it was enough of a distraction for the biofighters
to move in and finish him off. Ebifurya gets a few good hits in,
then Kishime electrocutes Kamesennin. He drops to the ground.
Bulma's angry now, asking how they could do that to Kamesennin,
an old man. The evil old man says that it was too easy and
groans, obviously disappointed. He expected Kamesennin to be much
stronger, since he's the strongest fighter in the world. Bulma
jumps in. "You fool!"
The old man turns around. "What did you say?!" Bulma's
scared for a moment, but regains her composure, and her anger.
"You heard me. Muten Roshi was one of the strongest fighters
fifty years ago. But I know someone who's a LOT stronger than
him!" The old man and Dr. Wheelo are intrigued. Dr. Wheelo
speaks, and Bulma suddenly goes back to being scared - although
this time, it's worse. She doesn't even know what she's scared
of. Bulma asks who said that. The old man is now the angry one,
apparently at her disrespect for Dr. Wheelo. He tells her not to
speak to Dr. Wheelo like that, and she finally gets to hear the
mastermind's name. The old man then tells her about himself,
informing her that he is Wheelo's assistant, Dr. Kochin. Bulma
thinks, and finally she places the names. She begins talking
about stuff she learned about them in school, such as their
controversial biotechnical experiments. Kochin compliments her,
and tells her she's correct. She remembers that she heard they
had died in an avalanche around fifty years earlier though, and
says they can't be who they claim. He tells her that they were
buried in the avalanche, but that they survived. We finally see
Wheelo now. Remember the brain from the little scenes earlier?
Well, that's Wheelo. The brain is in a glass shell, part of a
metal object that's mounted on the wall. Bulma's surprised, and
also horrified at what she sees.
Kochin explains that Wheelo lost his body in the avalanche, but
his brain survived. Bulma tells them that the avalanche was
believed to be sent from the heavens for their cruel experiments.
Kochin reprimands her, and tells her she doesn't understand their
experiments, nor does any other human. Wheelo cuts in, and
returns to the subject of the strongest fighter. "Who is the
strongest fighter in the world?"
Bulma, "Everyone knows that Goku is!"
Kochin, "Goku?"
Bulma, "That's what I said!"
Wheelo, "Goku... hmmm..."
Bulma, "Nobody stands a chance against him, even if he's
attacked by a group!" Kochin doesn't believe her. Wheelo
wants to meet him, and asks where he is. Bulma wants to know what
they'll do, and Kochin explains what their plan is. They want to
transplant Wheelo's brain into the body of the world's strongest
fighter. "You're...insane..." Kochin cackles and says
that Wheelo will soon rule the world. Wheelo tells them that once
his transformation is complete, he'll have his revenge on the
world that looked down on him. Bulma believes this is impossible,
but to prove that it's very much possible for them, Kochin then
claims responsibility for an incident in which a vast area near
South City was suddenly turned into a barren wasteland. There's a
little scene of this happening, and a little town in the woods is
suddenly destroyed when a flash of red envelopes the entire area.
The land looks nothing like it did just seconds before. Bulma
doesn't believe it. "You...did that?" Kochin says that
it was them, even though it was reported to be some sort of
strange anomaly. He tells her that it was the first stage of
their revenge, and that it was just a small sample of what they
can do. He also tells her that they could do the same to the
entire planet if they feel so inclined. He then threatens her,
and asks again where Goku is. Wheelo again interrupts, saying he
senses a powerful force approaching. Kochin activates the
viewscreen and we see Goku riding in on Kintoun. Bulma's glad to
see him, and Wheelo comments on his incredible power, saying it
might be the perfect body for him.
Chichi stands over Gohan's clothes, apparently abandoned for the
Piccolo clothes when Gohan left to go help his father. Gohan sits
in an airship, saying to himself, "I'm sorry, Mom." He
flies on, toward the mountains.
Goku stands over the building on Kintoun, and Kochin's voice
comes in over a loud speaker. "Are you Goku?"
Goku answers, "That's right! Now tell me what you've done
with Master Roshi and Bulma!"
Kochin, "They're inside the fortress. Try and see if you can
find them!" Goku jumps off Kintoun, landing infront of the
entrance. The wind blows, and Goku shivers. Wheelo laughs,
deciding to test him. Kochin dispatches the biofighters.
Misokatsun rises up out of the ice, and Goku falls through where
it breaks. He dodges a few punches, then lands one himself, only
to find it does nothing, as his hand is just implanted in Miso's
stomach. He kicks Miso in the head, flipping him over and sending
him into the water. Goku does some backflips towards the door,
but screws up and lands on his head. He slides the rest of the
way in. Miso jumps up, but Goku runs inside, saying it's too cold
to get any power.
He comes to a room full of hovering, black balls. Huge blades
appear on each ball, four blades on each one. They begin spinning
and chase Goku. He leaps into the air to dodge the first one. He
begins to dodge them, then yells and starts hitting them with
hundreds of ki blasts, until only the newly-arrived Misokatsun
remains with him. Miso punches him a few times, then pins him to
a wall. Goku flies at Miso, kicking him in the back and driving
himself in, but notices how soft Miso is, and realizes that won't
work. Miso laughs, and Goku withdraws to the floor. He flies
straight at Miso, as high up as he can go, then does a Kaio-ken
to go even further, blasting a hole in the center of Miso. He
erupts through the ceiling, and ends up in the same room
Kamesennin had fought the biowarriors in.
He pants and says that Miso was a good warm-up. Kochin looks
stunned, while Wheelo remains indifferent. Goku takes on Kishime
and Ebifurya. Before we even see them move, Ebifurya's on the
ground from a punch that Goku has landed right on his face.
Kishime comes flying in. Goku tries to punch, but Kishime
teleports away. No, he didn't move so fast that he looked like he
disappeared, he actually teleports. Goku comments on how he can't
trace Kishime's power when he disappears. Both fighters rush
Goku, and he prepares for the fight, but Kishime apparently
teleported again, and he gets Goku right in the back.
Ebifurya hits him, then Kishime starts spinning Goku around until
Ebifurya kicks him away, sending Goku flying into the wall. Goku
falls to the ground and rushes towards the two as they do the
same towards him. He skips past Ebifurya and lands a punch to
Kishime. Then he jumps back in front of Ebifurya and kicks him
back. The two biofighters land near each other, and Goku runs
toward them before they even get up. They're up before he gets
there though, and some quick fighting goes on, and Goku kicks
both of them. Ebifurya lands on his back, but Kishime gets Goku
with his little electrocution wire thing again. Kishime begins to
gather some ki around his fist, then lets off a blast of air,
throwing Goku into the wall. He throws another blast, this one
looks a little similiar, but it is not the same move. Goku is in
position to block this, but alas, it doesn't work. Ice forms, and
Goku begins to freeze. He doesn't quite know what's going on.
Ebifurya throws another ice blast, and Goku tries to block it
again, but he just freezes faster this way. Kochin laughs.
Ebifurya finally says something. "Now I'm gonna seal you in
your icy grave!" He laughs, but it's not to be.
Kochin yells, "FINISH HIM!" but a new arrival doesn't
look to be willing to allow that. Gohan gets in fighting
position, then Kuririn arrives, as well. He gets in his ready
position and asks why Goku didn't tell him about this. Kochin's
not happy to see them. "Damn! Get them!" Gohan and
Kuririn both throw their own ki blasts, which counter Ebifurya's
ice blast. Kishime flies at Gohan, about ready to pound him, but
Kuririn smashes him from the side. Kishime is left unfazed by
this though, and they both simply get up and get ready to fight
some more. Well, if you thought one electric wire was bad...
Kishime creates about 50 of them now, and they surround his arms.
They're a green-blue color, but turn yellow when he lights them
up with electricity. Gohan and Kuririn don't quite know what to
make of this. Goku's still struggling with the ice as Kishime
sends a whole arm's worth of wires towards Gohan and Kuririn.
They go off in separate directions, dodging the wires. Kuririn
gets hit, and Gohan yells his name. Another wire comes in and
hits Gohan though, and they scream.
Goku works even harder, and although he's encased in ice, he
looks to be sweating. Gohan and Kuririn are further tortured, and
Goku's getting pretty angry now. The ice immediately around him
begins to turn red, and Goku's face no longer looks to be
struggling to get out of the ice, but rather is filled with
anger. Kishime finally lets Kuririn and Gohan go, but not for
long as Ebifurya hits them both with the ice blast. The entire
area above them turns to ice as well. Suddenly, we hear Goku's
voice. "KAIO-KEN!" A huge red aura surrounds Goku, and
the ice explodes. Goku's muscles seem to have about doubled in
size. Both Ebifurya and Kishime are amazed, and as the two ice
blocks known as Gohan and Kuririn land, Goku continues screaming.
Ebifurya, "WHAT?!" He sends another ice blast at Goku,
but his aura alone stops it, Goku doesn't even need to block it.
He flies straight down the blast and hits Ebifurya. He then goes
straight up and kicks Kishime, then comes in and hits him from
behind. Goku lands, aura gone, Kishime in hand. Ebifurya was
thrown all the way across the room and through the wall from
Goku's punch. Gohan and Kuririn ask for his help, and Goku walks
over to them. Wheelo and Kochin are astounded. Wheelo, "He's
the one... after fifty years of frozen sleep, at last, the moment
I have dreamed of has finally arrived! Once I get that body, I
will become ruler of the world." He laughs maniacally.
Kuririn and Gohan complain about the cold as they follow Goku
down the hall to the room where Wheelo and Kochin have been
watching from. They come in through a doorway and see an enormous
wall. Goku decides they must be at the top, and the three fly up
together. They see Bulma, who's also apparently relieved to see
them. Goku runs toward her little platform, but when he jumps up
to get her out of her chains, he runs straight into some sort of
forcefield protecting her. He's electrocuted, and Kuririn and
Gohan yell his name. Kochin laughs, and compliments him on being
the strongest fighter in the world. Goku asks where Kamesennin
is, and Kochin says that he's been preparing to make Kamesennin
another biofighter. Gohan points out Wheelo in the background,
and Kuririn and Goku finally see it. They're not sure what that
was, and Gohan asks if it's a human brain. Bulma says it is, and
tells him it's Dr. Wheelo's brain. She explains about how he
supposedly died, but really didn't and all that, and that he
wants to take over the world with his mad science. Kochin's
angered by her words, and tells her not to speak that way about
Wheelo.
She says, "You're both evil! You only use your research for
your own selfish ambitions! You should be ashamed!"
Kochin, "What?!"
Bulma, "Just look how pathetic he looks, clinging to life
inside that jar! He should have died a long time ago!"
Kuririn, "How on Earth can he stay alive in there?"
Kochin laughs, and explains that they found a way to do it
together. There's a little scene in which Kochin puts Wheelo's
brain into the jar some fifty years earlier. "World
domination was always our plan, and we knew the only way we could
do it was modify the human race with the biotechnology we had
developed. Unfortunately, before we could realize our dream, Dr.
Wheelo died. But I was able to keep his brain alive by using this
biotechnology! Soon, we would have gained control of the world,
but an avalanche sealed Dr. Wheelo inside an impenetrable wall of
ice and snow." As the camera continues to move back, we see
a body lying on the table. Now there's a huge explosion,
depicting the cause of the avalanche. "It was as if Heaven
itself was jealous of Dr. Wheelo's power and genius, and tried to
seal his fate inside a frozen tomb. Now, thanks to the Dragon
Balls, we've been given another chance to realize our
dream!"
Wheelo begins now, "Think of it, Goku. With your body and my
brain, we'd be unstoppable!"
Goku, "No kidding!"
Bulma, "Goku, please, get out of here! Dr. Wheelo wants to
take over your body!"
Kochin, "It's quite painless, and you'd be much smarter with
Dr. Wheelo's brain instead of that low-class brain of
yours."
Goku, "You're crazy if you think I'm gonna let you get your
hands on my brain! Forget about it!"
Wheelo, "You don't have a choice! Your body belongs to
me!" That same red beam that got Piccolo at the beginning
shoots up out of the ground around Goku. He screams, but he's
unable to get out, due to some wires around his legs and arms,
which hold him in. Gohan, Bulma, and Kuririn all scream Goku's
name (well, Gohan says "Daddy!").
Gohan, "You're hurting him... Let him go!!"
Wheelo, "It's time. Finish him off and we'll begin the
transfer."
Kochin acknowledges Wheelo's order as Gohan screams, "I'm
gonna make you pay for this!!!" He runs towards Kochin, but
is suddenly stopped. He falls back a few steps, then onto his
back.
Kuririn yells, "Gohan!" and runs toward them, but
Piccolo suddenly shoots straight out of the ground. Kuririn stops
dead in his tracks. "P...Piccolo!"
Gohan, "Mr. Piccolo!"
Goku is panting, still trying to get out. He breaks the wires and
steps out of the beam. Kochin is stunned. Wheelo can't seem to
come up with anything better to say than, "Goku, you really
are strong. I can't wait to have that power..." There's a
close-up of Piccolo's face, but something's wrong. He's not happy
to see them; if anything, he looks ready to kill them. In
addition, his eyes are yellow, not white now.
Goku, "P...Piccolo?"
Gohan, "Mr. Piccolo, I'm so glad you came here to help us
out!" He smiles and walks towards him. Goku orders him to
stay away, and Piccolo swats Gohan away. Gohan has no idea what's
going on. "Mr. Piccolo?"
Piccolo pulls off his cape and turban. He flies towards Goku and
Kuririn, and we see yet another difference. Piccolo's head is now
covered with yellow wires of some sort. Kuririn leaps for cover
as Piccolo and Goku begin fighting. They trade a few punches and
kicks, then Goku backflips away and pushes himself into the air.
Piccolo follows, they face each other in the air, and with Goku
upside down, they're face to face. They start fighting like this,
mostly just punches since neither is in a good position to kick
the other. Kuririn and Gohan watch from the floor as they fight,
and Kochin begins cackling again. "Now you see the power we
possess! We even have Piccolo's evil mind under our
control!"
Gohan's starting to do what he does best now - get pissed.
"Leave Mr. Piccolo alone!"
Kochin, "No, I'm afraid I can't do that. He's a loyal
servant of Dr. Wheelo!"
Gohan's seething with anger now, but he's still controlling it.
He turns his attention back to the fight, and we see Piccolo land
a hit. Goku drops, but he's pretty much got control of the fall,
and lands on his feet. "Piccolo, please stop!" Piccolo
goes straight at him though, and gets his hands around Goku's
neck. Goku resists, though, and ends up flipping back and kicking
Piccolo in the face. Piccolo catches himself and launches himself
straight back at Goku, though. He slides his legs under Goku,
tripping him, then kicks him back. Goku spins as he flies through
the air. He lands fine, and Piccolo stops a few feet infront of
him.
Gohan appears behind him. "No Mr. Piccolo, please stop
fighting! Please stop it now!" Goku and Piccolo stare back
and forth at each other as Kochin watches in anticipation.
Wheelo...just sits there, it's not like he can do much else.
Then it goes to Bulma, who says "I've had enough of this!
Now get me out of here!"
Kuririn, "But Bulma, I don't know how to - ahhh!" he
screams as he touches the force field.
Bulma, "Kuririn, you're gonna have to cut off the power to
this thing."
Kuririn, holding his hand, says "You think so? Well,
ok..."
We look around the room a bit, and Gohan yells once again.
"Stop it, Mr. Piccolo! Stop it!" Piccolo looks down at
Gohan.
Goku, "Gohan, run away! He's not the same as he used to
be!" Piccolo hits Gohan once, Gohan's totally shocked about
all of this, then just as he's about to hit Gohan again, Goku
arrives and catches his fist, inches in front of Gohan. Goku
flips to the side and into the air, and Piccolo follows. They
start fighting again, each dodging a hit, then they both jump
back to face each other for a moment. They rush at each other
again and lock arms. They stare at each other for a moment like
this, then Gohan runs back over.
"No Mr. Piccolo, he's not a bad man! Mr. Piccolo,
stop!"
Goku, "Gohan, no!" Piccolo leaves Goku and starts
flying towards Gohan. He begins to form a ki blast in his hand on
the way over. Gohan shuts his eyes and prepares for the worst.
Kuririn, "Gohan!!" Goku appears just as Piccolo lets
off his blast, and Goku deflects it with a blast of his own. When
the blasts die down, Piccolo takes advantage of Goku's
distraction, punching him in the side of the head. Goku's flying
through the air, and Piccolo appears beside him, but Goku kicks
him in the head. They go at it again, throwing, blocking and
dodging punches. Piccolo lands a quick hit to Goku's face, but we
quickly cut back to Gohan.
He's hunched over, wondering what's going on. "Mr.
Piccolo..." The fighting can be heard in the background.
"Daddy..." Gohan turns around. There's a close up of
Piccolo's little wires, then Dr. Wheelo is seen. Gohan stands
there, whimpering. "This is...your fault! IT'S ALL YOUR
FAULT!!!" He just erupts with power, and his blast extends
outward to all areas of the room, cracking walls and knocking
over Kochin.
Wheelo, "What...what is his power?!"
Gohan, "You won't get away with this..."
Kochin starts to taunt him. "Hey Junior, what the hell do
you think you're doing, huh?" Wheelo tells him not to anger
Gohan anymore, but it seems Kochin just might not think of Wheelo
as god after all, as he continues mocking Gohan.
Gohan, "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!!"
Kochin, "Why don't you go home and sit on your momma's knee
for a while, you baby?" Wheelo tells him again not to anger
Gohan any futher.
"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT, ALL YOUR FAULT!!!" Kochin
opens up the top of a staff and points it at Gohan, firing a huge
ki blast from it. Gohan explodes with a tremendous power once
again, this time so much that he creates a small crater in the
floor and pushes the walls back. Needless to say, he has no
trouble whatsoever with Kochin's blast. He also succeeds in
destroying Piccolo's wires. Kochin is completely stunned. He
reaches for his staff, but Kuririn kicks it away.
"Let Bulma go right now." Kochin's hand is revealed to
be robotic, though and it turns into a machine gun. Kuririn runs
off, trying to dodge the bullets. Kuririn ducks behind Bulma's
platform. As you can imagine, those bullets hitting the force
field scared the crap out of Bulma.
Machinery and walls begin to explode. Bulma's platform is powered
down, and Kochin points his machine gun at her. She screams, but
Kamesennin drops from the ceiling and smashes the machine gun.
Kochin falls back. Piccolo's head wires fall off, and he wonders
what's going on. Goku, "Piccolo!"
Piccolo, "Goku..."
"Mr. Piccolo!"
"Gohan!" They look over towards Wheelo. Something is
pouring out from the wall (possibly from his capsule), and the
entire thing is steaming.
He does his little evil chuckle. "This has been very
entertaining! I never thought you would get this far!" The
entire room shakes.
Even Kochin seems to be scared out of his wits. "Dr.
Wheelo..." Everyone is at a loss for words. The wall
crumbles as Dr. Wheelo emerges, his true form shown. Bulma
screams. Dr. Wheelo's mechanical body stands about 20-25 feet
tall, it's completely black except for the glass capsule that
holds his brain and a grey area on the back, a few other
grey/purple areas, and a red spot under the capsule. He's got two
crab-like claws, too. As he walks, he destroys sections of the
floor. Kochin falls, plummeting hundreds of feet into a dark
abyss. Wheelo continues to pull himself out of the wall. The
entire wall running up to the area they're in lights up and turns
gold. We see Kochin falling as the light moves up. Kochin
screams, and begins to be struck by electricity. There's a bright
flash, and then we see a silver robot, with small spots of blood,
screaming "Dr...Wheelo..." He explodes into nothing.
Finally, the light reaches the top and the entire area behind
Wheelo is lit up especially, but the entire room is illuminated.
On the right, we have Goku, Piccolo and Gohan, and closer to
Wheelo and on the left, Kamesennin, Kuririn and Bulma. Lightning
is striking Wheelo from numerous places. Finally, the dust
clears. Wheelo, "Goku, once I get your body, I will be able
to discard this ugly metal shell. And then, I'll be able to
fulfill my destiny and become the greatest scientist the world
has ever known!"
Bulma screams, "Nooo!" Goku, Gohan and Piccolo rush up
to stand alongside Kamesennin and Kuririn. All of them prepare to
fight Wheelo.
Goku, "His power's incredible!"
Piccolo, "It's him... so he's the one who was controlling my
mind all along. Now...HE'S GONNA PAY!" Piccolo runs a few
steps and leaps up. He's stopped in midair, then swatted down by
one of the claws.
Gohan, "Mr. Piccolo!!" Piccolo hits the ground with a
thud.
Wheelo, "Give up. You'll never beat me!" He jumps into
the air.
Kamesennin shouts, "KAMEHAMEHA!"
Together, all of them recite the famous phrase,
"Ka...me...ha...me...HA!!!!" and fire their blasts at
once. There's a bright flash, but Wheelo continues through,
unfazed by the attack.
Goku, "It didn't work!" He lands right in between them,
Goku and Gohan get away, Kamesennin is thrown back, and Kuririn
is sort of thrown, but regains himself quickly and tries to
escape. Kamesennin is smashed by one of the claws, then Wheelo
fires a blast at Kuririn. Kuririn tries to outrun it, but it
slowly gains until it finally hits him. He's thrown forward and
lands on Bulma's old platform.
Bulma peeks up from behind, "Kuririn?"
Goku lands nearby. "He's really tough! I'll have to try the
Kaio-ken!"
Suddenly, we hear Gohan scream. Wheelo turns as Gohan runs
towards him alone, screaming, cape billowing back behind.
Goku, "No, Gohan don't!" Gohan jumps into the air
spinning his staff, but he's hit and falls into Piccolo's waiting
arms. Goku catches the staff and lands near Piccolo.
Kamesennin groans, then Wheelo prepares a ki blast and says,
"Die." He fires the blast, but apparently hits no one.
Piccolo lands near Bulma and Kuririn. Bulma's shaking with fear,
but he merely leaves Gohan and flies back over to the fight.
Goku's flying through the air and extends the staff, then as it
runs between Wheelo's legs, he runs off, tripping Wheelo. Piccolo
comes in over Wheelo, firing a ton of ki blasts. Wheelo's not
hurt though, and jumps into the air, smashing Piccolo into the
ceiling. Piccolo falls towards the ground, and Goku resolves to
fight as long as he can. He goes 3x Kaio-ken and screams, then
prepares to fight. He launches himself at Wheelo, hitting him,
but is blocked. He hits him again from behind, then knocks off
one of his claws as he hits him from the side.
The claw smashes into the ground as Goku lands nearby. He gets
into the same old well-known position.
"Ka...me...ha...me...HA!!!" He lets off his blast as
Wheelo fires a blast of his own. Wheelo is about to win the blast
duel it seems, but Goku powers up even more, and the force of the
fight causes such a strong wind as to nearly blow away Bulma
until Kuririn catches her hand. His incredibly powerful blast
overtakes Wheelo and sends him soaring to the edge of space,
destroying the roof of the building in the process. Wreckage of
the building falls to the ground as Wheelo rides Goku's blast.
Goku's now shirtless, tired and panting. Everyone congratulates
him. Kuririn, "Goku, you did it..."
Goku tells them that Wheelo's not gone yet, though. "I know
he's still alive."
"Even after all that?" We look up through the remains
of the building, into the sky.
At the edge of the atmosphere, Wheelo sits in orbit. "Goku
is too powerful... I'll have to go to another planet. But before
I do, I'll focus my energy to destroy him and the Earth!" He
spins around to face the planet below. The ground begins to
rumble. Goku doesn't know what's happening. That big old wall
lights up again, and Bulma begins to scream.
Goku, "Everybody run! Go now!"
"What about you, Daddy?"
"I'll stay here! And I'll wait for a chance to whack him
with a Genki Dama!"
"But Daddy..." Suddenly, a huge wall of energy forms in
the building. Goku begins his little speech to summon the energy
for the Genki Dama. As the tunnels collapse, Kamesennin, Gohan,
and Kuririn, who's carrying Bulma on his back, rush for the exit.
We see a view from the mountains, you can't even see the
building, but the wall of energy is quite visible as it rises up
into space and engulfs Wheelo. We see Goku once more, then some
more mountains. Now, we have different views out into space.
First, just maybe 20 miles above the mountains, then higher and
higher, until eventually we see Wheelo, whose little energy deal
seems to have stopped.
"What...what's going on? What's happening to the
Earth?" Then, there's all the little scenes they show
whenever Goku creates a Genki Dama, with the energy coming from
different places and such. First, we see it pouring out of some
trees. Then, the ocean, and last, some hills and the desert. Goku
says it won't take much longer, and the picture wavers
everywhere. The energy is gathered in a little show where it all
compacts around Goku. Wheelo, "What the hell is he trying to
do?" Goku holds his fist up, with all the energy for the
Genki Dama. He prepares to throw it when Wheelo yells,
"DIE!" and starts blasting up the entire area from
space. The building suffers a direct hit, and Gohan and co. see
it.
Gohan yells, "Daddy!"
Kuririn, "Goku!"
"Daddy, no..."
"Damn! Dr. Wheelo's power's still increasing!"
We see Goku, lying on some rocks. Gohan gets angry, yells and
flies straight up.
Kuririn, "Gohan!"
Wheelo, "You're history!" On the way up, Gohan sees
Piccolo, whom he greets. He's instructed to use all his energy to
stop Wheelo. They fly up side by side, then take off even faster,
screaming. "What's this?" They both smash him, then
Piccolo hits the capsule with a mouth ki blast, cracking the
glass. Kuririn flies in, but is immediately smashed to the side.
"Why does this always happen to me?"
Piccolo growls.
Wheelo, "I'll turn all of you and the Earth into space
dust!" His metal body begins to glow, and he screams.
Goku, "It's warm...it's so warm..." Wheelo shoots a
huge red ki blast straight down.
"Goku!"
Goku, "I owe my thanks to this planet... Now...GO!"
Halfway up the Genki Dama meets the red blast. The Genki Dama
pushes it up until it explodes, but the Genki Dama continues up.
Kuririn and Gohan watch the Earth, not knowing exactly what's
going on.
Finally, the Genki Dama reaches their level. It floats slowly
past Gohan as he watches it, and we see the little scene where
all the people in the world are represented in a little picture.
We see the Earth, and it fades into the Genki Dama, which passes
Piccolo barely, and smashes into Wheelo. "DAMN YOU,
Goku!" He explodes, then part flies on and explodes, and a
third part flies on and explodes until the entire thing is gone.
The building explodes as well, and if you thought it was wreckage
before, now it's hardly recognizable.
Kamesennin, "Hey, over here! It's Goku! He's still
alive!" Bulma, Kamesennin and Kuririn stand over Goku.
Gohan joins in, coming even closer. "Hey, Daddy!"
Goku, "Hi guys..." Piccolo is walking off as Goku sits
up. "Piccolo, we did it!"
Piccolo, "Gohan deserves all the credit."
Kamesennin, "You know, there is one thing I did like about
Dr. Wheelo..." Everyone wonders what he means. He continues,
"He thought I was the strongest fighter in the world.
Bulma, "I guess nobody told him you were just a dirty old
man!" Everyone has a good laugh over that, to Kamesennin's
embarrassment. The camera pulls out, showing a peaceful Earth.
