The Appearance of Darkness!! The Evil Madoshi, Babidi

Yamu and Spopovitch carry their power drainer back to Babidi, both grinning. Spopovitch looks over to Yamu. "That went well." Yamu holds up the power drainer. "This much energy should make Babidi-sama happy." He laughs. "Let's not waste any time, let's hurry." Spopovitch nods. The power drainer thing glows brightly for a moment and then they're both enveloped in plain white auras, speeding up. Lava bubbles in a volcanic region as some flying dinosaurs (not unlike the ones we saw in episode 204) bring food to their babies. They feed the smaller dinosaurs, and then look up curiously to see Yamu and Spopovitch racing by. The force of the wind created by their high speed causes the small ledge to crumble, and the nest full of baby dinosaurs plummets toward the ground. One of the dinosaurs swoops down and catches it, and both of the adults land together with babies in hand. They look relieved for a moment, but that relief turns to alarm when they look up and see several more figures racing toward them. They shelter the nest as five more people fly past at high speed. They stare in confusion as the five who just passed disappear into the distance.

The grim Kaioushin leads Son Goku, Piccolo, Kuririn, and Vegeta as they follow Yamu and Spopovitch. He keeps a close eye on their progress. Piccolo speeds up a little and flies alongside him. "So what you are telling us is that the Madoshi Bibidi created Majin Buu, who is sealed away somewhere on the Earth?" Kaioushin looks over at him and replies, "That's right. The only one who could release the seal was Madoshi Bibidi, so we let down our guard. However, there's something we only recently found out. Madoshi Bibidi had a child, and that child is now on Earth." Goku, "Is he the one controlling Yamu and Spopovitch?" Kaioushin, "Yes, and Madoshi Babidi has the same black heart that Madoshi Bibidi had." Kuririn, "I don't know about all this talk about Madoshi and Majin." Goku, "In other words, all we have to do is keep him from resurrecting Majin Buu?" Kaioushin, "That's correct. But to do that, we have to defeat Madoshi Babidi, because he is the only one who can release Majin Buu." Vegeta stares ahead silently, looking angry (as usual). Goku, "Is Babidi strong?" Kaioushin, "He has some pretty strong magic, but he doesn't have much personal strength. At least that's how his father was. Mostly, he can use the evil in people's hearts to possess them, like he did to Spopovitch and Yamu. He should be no problem unless he has possessed someone strong." They continue on over the ocean.

Meanwhile, even further back, yet another group is in pursuit. Gohan, "So why did Yamu and Spopovitch come to the Tenkaichi Budokai? What did they do to me?" Kibit, "In order to bring Majin Buu back to life, he'll need to use a lot of undefiled energy." Gohan, "Undefiled energy?" Kibit, "In order to gather that energy, Babidi left those two at the Tenkaichi Budokai." He looks over at Gohan. "When you became a Super Saiya-jin, you were the perfect target. We suspected that Babidi would do something like that, so we snuck into the tournament. We needed to know where Babidi was. Majin Buu's sphere wasn't where it used to be; it had been moved somewhere. That's why we're following those two, so that we can find out where Babidi is." Videl slowly begins to drop back as they continue on. Gohan quickly takes notice. "Videl-san!" He slows and flies alongside her. "Are you okay?" Videl, "Yeah." She has her arms up to guard her face against the wind.

Goku, "If he's that dangerous, why didn't you do anything when you defeated Babidi's father?" Kaioushin, "There was nothing I could have done. If I made the slightest mistake, the seal on Majin Buu might have been removed. Also, Majin Buu's sphere was in a very dangerous place for the humans who had just begun to walk on two legs."

Cans litter the stage as the crowd begins to get angry. "What happened to the competition!?" And someone else, "Get a move on!" Another guy, "Are you trying to screw with us?" Announcer, "Please... Please give us some time. We're in the middle of a meeting. Please wait just a little bit longer!" Sharpener, "What's going on here? Videl and that Son Gohan guy flew out of here." Eliza, "This has been a weird day. After Videl got all beaten up, she suddenly got better, and she flew through the air." Tireman kid, "Maybe it's some kind of trick. You know, like the time when Mr. Satan beat Cell." Sharpener, "You're right, it must be a trick. I don't know about Son Gohan, but it's impossible for Videl to fly." Eliza, "Is that it?" Sharpener, "Everyone's sneaky, using tricks." Eliza, "I was an idiot for thinking it was real. I'll have to yell at her at school." And cans (as well as apple cores) continue to pelt the platform. A man jumps up and yells, "Hurry up and start!" He throws something. "We came here to watch a fight!" The attendants and announcer on the stage try to dodge everything being thrown. Announcer, "Please, stop throwing things! Please!" Mighty Mask stands on top of the stadium, close blown around in the wind. "Goten, what happened?" Goten, "Don't know..."

Videl shields her face from the wind. Kibit, "We'll never catch them at this speed. Let's go a little faster." Gohan, "Right." He looks back at Videl. "Please wait just a second." He drops back. "Videl-san, you shouldn't push yourself too hard." Videl, "It's too bad..." Gohan, "Huh?" Videl, "I can't go any faster than this. I'm going too fast. I can barely keep my eyes open." Gohan, "You've just started to fly. You should go back, then. We don't know what's going to happen. This looks a lot more dangerous than I thought." Videl, "It looks like that would be for the best. I'd probably only get in the way. Too bad, though." Gohan smiles. "Thank you. Go back to the competition, and if you see Goten or Mother, tell them what's going on." Videl, "Okay, but you really were the Golden Warrior." Gohan, "Huh? Yeah..." He lowers his head. "I'm sorry I lied, but I didn't want to be found out." Videl, "Seven years ago, your friends were the ones who fought against Cell, weren't they? And you were the kid with them, weren't you?" He looks away. "Yeah." Videl, "It probably wasn't my father who defeated Cell either, was it? Was it your friends?" Gohan, "Uh, well..." Videl, "Thought so. Don't worry, it doesn't bother me that much. Even I thought it was a little strange that my papa won. This makes a lot more sense. Do your best, Gohan-kun! Defeat that Madoshi Babidi guy and save everyone!" Smiling, Gohan nods. Videl stops while Gohan and Kibit speed up. She waves. "Gohan-kun! I'll wait for you at the Budokai ring!" Gohan waves back. "Okay!" Kibit, "Are you ready?" Gohan, "Yes, thank you for waiting." Kibit, "Let's go faster and catch up with Kaioushin-sama and the others." Gohan, "Right!" He and Kibit get white auras and they suddenly speed off, throwing up seawater behind them. Videl, "Wow, that's fast!" She smiles and watches as they disappear in the distance. "Don't die, Gohan-kun! If you come back safely, I'll go on a date with you or something."

Still grinning, Spopovitch and Yamu continue their journey over ocean and islands. Following closely behind are the Z Senshi and Kaioushin, and even closer to them are Kibit and Gohan, who are quickly gaining. Suddenly, Gohan's face lights up. "Ah, we're here. Dad!" Kuririn looks back. "It's Gohan." Goku turns around. "You got here fast!" Kaioushin smiles and Kibit nods, smiling back. Gohan moves into place between his father and Piccolo. Piccolo, "Gohan, I was waiting for you." Gohan, "Yeah." Goku, "Did you hear the story? This enemy looks really dangerous." Gohan, "Yeah." Goku, "It looks like we'll finally really be able to cut loose!" Gohan, "It does, doesn't it?" Kuririn smiles. "Goku looks excited, but I wonder how things are going to turn out. Things really look dangerous this time."

In the middle of nothing, a round, white object sticks out of the ground. Near the top is a script "M" and not far below that, a door opens. Some type of alien walks out. He looks a LOT like Freezer form 3, with an elongated head that sticks out far behind him, and spikes protruding from his back. He's mostly white, but has some black in places. He stares at the sky as two small points of light appear. He smiles, and we see his face for the first time. He has huge orange lips and lacks a nose. On his forehead is, of course, the letter M. "They're here." Yamu and Spopovitch continue over the rocky terrain, and Yamu grins. "There it is." Spopovitch nods and they begin descending as they continue ahead.

Kaioushin, "It looks like they're about to land." The Z Senshi watch curiously. Kuririn, "Out here?" Vegeta speeds up a little. Kibit, "That's odd. We've already searched this area." Ahead just a bit more, and then they all land on a mountain overlooking the strange building. Kaioushin peers over a few rocks. "Okay everyone, please kill your power." Everyone takes a position on the mountain and watch the building. Goku, "Someone's there. Is that Babidi?" Kaioushin, "No. It's probably one of his disciples." Goku looks around. "The ground around here looks strange. It looks dug up." Kibit clenches his fist. "Damn him! He hid his ship underground! That's why we weren't able to find him!" Kaioushin, "That means that Babidi knows we're here on Earth. If he didn't know, there'd be no reason to hide." Piccolo, "Let's hurry up and attack. They're going to use the energy they stole from Gohan to bring back Majin Buu." Kaioushin, "Don't worry, they'll resurrect Majin Buu on the surface so that he won't destroy the ship. Let's watch a little more and wait for our chance."

Our little Freezer form 3 look alike turns and walks into the ship, but Yamu and Spopovitch wait outside. Nearby is a building, and in front of it are the corpses of its inhabitants. Gohan notices and gets angry, but looks away. Suddenly, a mechanical noise is heard. Piccolo, "Something's coming out!" Everyone watches in silent anticipation, but they can't see into the darkness inside the ship. Finally, the sound stops. A red hand reaches out and grasps the doorframe, lifting its owner out. Yamu and Spopovitch bow. A small guy who we can't see very well except that he's wearing an orange cape hovers out. Behind him is a much larger guy who we still can't see very well, but he's wearing blue pants and a white cape. Kaioushin gasps. We get a better view, and we see that the smaller one is light brown in color with a few hairs sticking out here and there, and looks a lot like a giant insect in some ways. The other is a large red man with a beard, enormous ears, and of course, a forehead sporting the letter "M." He smiles. Kibit, "Dabura!" Kaioushin and Kibit stare in shock. Kaioushin, "Impossible! Not Dabura!" Kibit, "Has Babidi even possessed the King of Evil, Dabura!?" Kuririn looks up curiously. "Huh?"

The two step out of the ship. Goku, "Dabura? Who's that? The big one?" Kaioushin, "That's right." Goku, "Is he strong?" Kaioushin, "Of course. He is the Demon Lord of the Realm of Darkness." Gohan, "What is the Realm of Darkness?" Kaioushin, "On the other side of this reality is another reality. One of you is probably the strongest in this universe, but Dabura is definitely the strongest in the universe of evil." Kuririn, "Ah! The King of the Universe of Evil... Is there a place like that? That probably means that he's a very dangerous foe! That's impossible..." Gohan, "That means that the little one is Madoshi Babidi?" Kaioushin, "Right." Babidi finally lands (he had been levitating the whole time). "Him?" Kaioushin, "He's not that strong himself, but he controls awesome magic." Yamu bows and holds out the energy stealer. "Never underestimate it...especially since he was able to charm Dabura." Piccolo, "Is his magic strong enough to force Dabura to do his will?" Kibit, "No, it takes over the evil in their hearts so that they think it is what they wanted to do all along. That is Babidi's most powerful magic. I'm sure that's what he used to make Yamu, Spopovitch, and the others his henchmen. That's why only people like us and you who are pure of heart can fight him." Kuririn, "So he takes over the evil in people's hearts..." He grins. "Isn't that dangerous for you, Piccolo? After all, you started off as a demon." Piccolo, "That was a long time ago!" Kuririn shrinks back.

Yamu holds out the energy stealer and Babidi takes it. "Is this full of energy?" Yamu nervously replies, "Yes!" Dabura grins. Kaioushin, "But I wasn't expecting Dabura to be here. The combination of Dabura and Babidi..." Vegeta, "Are you trying to say we can't win?" Kaioushin looks away without responding. "Hmph. So if Majin Buu or whatever he is gets brought back, this world will end? I won't let that happen. I'd never lose to anything like them." Kuririn, "This is kind of dangerous..." Goku whispers, "Kuririn, you should go back. This looks a lot more dangerous than I thought." Kuririn, "I'd better do that... It doesn't look like I could do anything here anyway." Goku smiles. "And it hasn't been that long since you got married." Kuririn scratches his head. "Well I guess I do have to think of my beautiful bride and cute daughter..." He laughs. "Sorry."

Babidi approaches Dabura, carrying the energy stealer. He giggles, and Dabura bows. "You did a good job. This brings the resurrection of Majin Buu much closer." Spopovitch anxiously replies, "With the power we have, it was an easy job." Babidi, "Now I don't need you anymore." Both are surprised. Babidi turns around to face them. His eyes glow red and an outline of Spopovitch extends out from his body. He screams and his face begins to disfigure. He turns green, then blue. Babidi watches gleefully as he progresses to red, then begins to get incredibly bloated. Goku is shocked. Spopovitch's face, now somewhat "normal" color again, continues to contort, his eyes bulging. Babidi's eyes glow briefly, and then Spopovitch explodes. The Z Senshi are stunned. Frightened, Yamu backs away. Babidi, "He went boom. I'll never get tired of that sound." Freezer 3 clone replies, "Yes sir, I think so too." Dabura, "Shall I take care of the other?" He grins and nods toward Yamu. Yamu fearfully backs away, then leaps into the air and attempts to escape. "Puipui, do you want to kill him?" Freezer 3 clone, "Yes." Puipui holds his right arm straight up and supports it with his left, aiming at the fleeing Yamu. His hand glows and he fires off a single ki blast. It closes in and finally hits Yamu; he explodes, screaming. Babidi, "Nice shot!" And once again, we have the obligatory "astonished Z Senshi" shots. Gohan, "They killed their own... What are they!?" Puipui turns and stands at attention. He bows as Babidi and his henchmen stand grinning, and the Z Senshi are still in shock.
