Wait for Us, Babidi!! We Won't Allow You to Continue Your Evil

The Tenkaichi Budokai silent (and much roomier as well). Those who didn't flee are now left with two gaping holes and a stage that, for all intents and purposes, is completely ruined. Satan stands around, still stunned. The announcer looks up at him. "Uh, Mr. Satan... What do you want to do for an award ceremony?" Satan, "Hm. That disturbance scared away the crowd and there are no cameras, so there's no point in doing it." Announcer, "So let's hold it later." He and Satan look away from each other and stare straight out the first hole Vegeta made. After a brief pause, the announcer turns back to Satan. "What about the runner-up?" Satan, "Runner-up?" Announcer, "You know, Number 18. The girl who you fought at the end." Satan, "Huh!? Number 18!?" He slowly looks back over his shoulder and sees her still leaning against the wall with her arms crossed. He looks away, trembling, then finally straightens up again. "Ah, th-that's right! Even though she couldn't hold up against me, she still did well." He nods and continues, "Yeah, I'm really impressed." He laughs, then abruptly stops and looks down at the announcer, and then begins laughing again.

The Z Senshi families stare at the first whole Vegeta made. Chichi, "What was Vegeta thinking!? Look at the mess he made out of the ring! Where did he go!? I hope Goten-chan's not involved in this." Hats, signs, and other personal belongings litter the seats next to the opening. Bulma watches the hole uneasily, then looks away toward the sky and says to herself, "Vegeta, what's happened to you?"

As a light wind blows overhead, the two Super Saiya-jin stand in a rocky area devoid of any other people. Goku glares at Vegeta, and Vegeta grins back at him. Suddenly, Vegeta screams and charges forward, pulling back his fist. He throws a punch, Goku dodges. Another punch, another dodge. He goes on the offensive into one of the all-too-familiar hit/kick/block/dodge things. It ends quickly with a hard knee to Goku's gut that gets a grunt of surprise, followed up by an elbow in the back that sends him toward the ground. Goku lands on his hands and knees and looks up to see Vegeta flying in from above. He quickly jumps out of the way and Vegeta's leg plunges into rock, sending up stones and dust all around him. Goku stops in the air above him and Vegeta launches out, meeting Goku in the sky. They pause briefly (very, very briefly), hovering a few yards apart in the air.

Vegeta begins the next round by attempting to knee Goku, but Goku blocks with his own leg and they collide in a burst of energy that sends out sparks of red lightning around them. They stay frozen like that for a few seconds. Vegeta, "What's the problem? Weren't you going to finish this right off?" Goku smiles. "Shut up!" With one last bright flash of light, they split and once again stand a few yards apart in the sky. After another very brief pause, they both charge ahead again. Vegeta throws a punch with his left hand which Goku catches in his right while simultaneously, Goku also throws with his left hand, and Vegeta catches that with his right. They stay with their arms locked like that and it becomes a kicking game. Over and over again, they both throw their knees up, and each time their knees collide, a few beams of red light shoot out, disappearing again as soon as they separate. After ten or eleven of those, Vegeta ends it by thrusting his head forward and butting Goku. Goku cries out in surprise and falls back, and Vegeta immediately follows up with a punch to his gut (with, of course, more red light). He throws strong, slow punches one after the other into the stunned Goku. After several punches, Goku recovers and catches each hand. They stay locked like that and Goku knees Vegeta in the chin. Vegeta's head flies back and he grunts in pain. Goku follows up with another knee to the face and, at the same time, lets Vegeta's hands go. As Vegeta floats in front of him, still knocked back by the two knees, Goku kicks him hard in the side of the head. Vegeta sails into a cliffside and is embedded in the rock as Goku watches from a safe distance.

"Ka-Kakkarotto!" Goku slowly moves in and Vegeta charges up his ki with a shout, disintegrating the rock around him. A nearly perfect half-circle is cut into the cliffside. Vegeta and Goku slowly float toward each other until they're face to face, no more than a foot and a half apart. They charge up their ki simultaneously and, due to their proximity, share one large aura instead of having two separate ones. They stare each other down and finally, after a few seconds, Vegeta yells. Lightning dances throughout the aura and a bright flash of golden light blinds the viewer for just a second before the fight resumes against a temporarily dark background. They basically go into a hit/kick thing again with few blocks being thrown up. Goku falls back as the sky returns to normal, and the fight continues. They move through the air across the landscape as they fight on, Vegeta pushing Goku back. They both pause as they pull back for a strong punch. Each throws simultaneously and each hits simultaneously with, yes, a bright flash of light. They both simply sit there for a moment with their fists in each other's faces, and then Vegeta suddenly goes on the offensive again, throwing strong, slow punches into Goku's gut. He charges up his ki as he goes and Goku, for whatever reason, doesn't counter. Vegeta finally stops punching and kicks Goku hard in the same area, then elbows him in the back of the neck.

Stone Piccolo and stone Kuririn stand alone on the mountain overlooking Babidi's ship. Inside, Babidi giggles as he watches the fight on his crystal ball. "Way to go, Vegeta! You're doing perfectly!" Dabura looks over at Majin Buu's sphere, which seems to be faintly glowing intermittently. He grins. The M meter measuring the absorbed power is quickly heading toward the M in the 12:00 position, and is currently jumping around at about 8:30. Babidi's reflection appears in the glass over the meter and he laughs. "Look at it! Majin Buu's energy is rising quickly!" He giggles and turns away, creating a new crystal ball in the air in front of him with a wave of his hands. On it, he watches the fight between Goku and Vegeta, then changes to Gohan and Kaioushin as they descend through the ship. "It looks like we've won, Dabura." Dabura, "That's right." Babidi laughs and Dabura grins as the sphere continues to glow on and off.

Gohan and Kaioushin drop through a vertical passageway, finally landing in a room that's exactly like all the others, except that its floor is green for some reason, and it's full of grunt soldiers wearing the same white uniform that Puipui had on about ten episodes back. Gohan and Kaioushin look at them curiously. Gohan, "Huh?" Kaioushin, "Uh..." Man, "Th-they're here!" Another one, "Do you think you can beat us!?" Kaioushin, "These must be Babidi's low-class fighters. We don't have time to waste on small fry like these. Let's hurry." Gohan, "Right!" Some random fighter, "Hey, let's go!" All in unison, "Okay!" They all jump up and land around Gohan and Kaioushin, forming a rudimentary circle. They take a few steps in. Gohan, "Hm?" He smiles, then takes on a serious expression, raises his fist, and takes on a fighting pose. All of the soldiers cry out in fear and shrink back, shielding themselves with their arms. Gohan charges up his ki and takes on a white aura. Kaioushin holds up his arm in defense, then Gohan once again quickly charges up, doing it abruptly and quickly enough that it sends out a small shockwave that throws all the soldiers away. Kaioushin looks back up at Gohan when it's finished and sighs. "Violent, as usual." Gohan drops his aura and straightens up. The 'camera' moves out to reveal that they're still surrounded by soldiers, the soldiers just happen to be on the floor and a little too dead to fight. The floor in the center of the room falls away. Kaioushin smiles. "He's over-confident. He must think he doesn't need more time. Let's go and find Majin Buu's egg." Gohan, "Yeah." They jump into the new opening.

Babidi laughs and Dabura grins. Dabura, "At last, you'll be able to witness Kaioushin's death." Babidi, "Take care of him, Dabura." He giggles.

The fight continues in the sky over...nothing. We only hear the sounds of the battle for a few seconds before finally, they move out from behind a cliff. Goku appears to be on the offensive now as he drives Vegeta back, and when the 'camera' goes in closer, we see that he's mostly just fielding punches rather than throwing any of his own. Goku continues his barrage as Vegeta throws up his arms to shield. Goku pulls back and then, leg outstretched, slides back in and kicks Vegeta hard in the stomach. Vegeta cries out in surprise and Goku pulls his arm back to follow up with a punch, but when he throws it, Vegeta vanishes. Vegeta reappears right behind him with a grin. Goku gasps and spins around, and Vegeta meets him with arms right at his stomach, charging up a ki blast. It finishes charging and explodes in a bright flash of light, throwing Goku to the ground. When the light fades, we see Vegeta in the sky with his hands still outstretched, staring down at the dust cloud. He drops his arms. The dust cloud dissipates and reveals a giant crater too deep to see the bottom. He stares into it from high above, and finally, a golden light pierces the darkness. He gasps and quickly throws a ki blast to counter the one Goku was charging up. They collide midway and explode into a large ball. A "ki blast duel" is on.

Vegeta pushes on his as Goku does the same while rising out of the crater at the same time. Finally, Goku pushes it all the way back and the "ball" has been compressed into more of an elipse, with both fighters just a foot or so away from it on either side. Lightning dances around the meeting point. Vegeta and Goku both struggle against it. "Damn you, Kakkarotto!" Vegeta screams and puts more effort into it, and Goku counters by doing the same. The result is a more flattened "ball," but no one actually gains any ground. Vegeta screams and strengthens his side with another ki blast from his free hand, and Goku does the same. We see it from far away and for some reason, it's turned into a ball again (and even larger than it had been) even though both fighters are just a couple feet away. Lightning still jumping around the surface, it quickly expands to more than twice its size. Goku and Vegeta continue the struggle, and finally, it explodes right between them.

--COMMERCIAL--

In the distance over the ocean, two bright lights come into view. One is Super Saiya-jin Trunks. The other, Super Saiya-jin Goten, with his legs clamped together and his fists clenched. He begins to drop back behind Trunks, who doesn't even seem to notice. He rubs his legs together and still has his fists clenched. Trunks looks down to his left. "Huh?" He notices that Goten is missing and looks back to see Goten dragging behind and turns around, flying backwards. "What are you doing, Goten? If you don't hurry, we won't be able to see Majin Buu!" Goten, "But... I have to go to the bathroom!" Trunks flies back to meet him. "Bathroom? Hold it in." Goten, "I can't! I've needed to go since the Budokai started! I'm going to wet myself!" Trunks, "Oh well..." He looks around, then finally, "You can go down there." He points toward an island. "Hurry." Goten, "Yeah." He races toward the island, stops near a rock, and unzips. There's a, uh...sound, of liquid hitting rock and then for some reason, steam begins to rise in front of Goten. Trunks lands next to him. "Huh? Trunks-kun?" Trunks laughs. "I have to go too." They smile as steam rises up in front of both of them, and the 'camera' moves behind them. Trunks, "I'm peeing farther." Goten, "I can do that too!" And then they begin to bounce up and down on their knees as they yell happily. (Pardon the language, but what the fuck...?). A shadow comes over them and a giant dinosaur lands behind the two. He roars and they both jump up, crying out in fear. They run away and the dinosaur chases. He snaps his jaws shut and barely misses them. They fly into the air above the island. Goten, "That was scary." Trunks, "Let's go. Hurry up, Goten." They both regain their auras and rocket away, leaving the viewer to wonder just what the point of this entire scene was.

Goku hangs near the top of a small mountain. "I can't believe how strong he is. Vegeta's gotten much more powerful." He suddenly gasps and we see why when Vegeta yanks him up by his wrist. "Vegeta?" Vegeta rises from a crouch to full height and grins. "Vegeta?" He shouts and throws Goku into another rock wall. Goku cries out in surprise and Vegeta takes a step forward, chuckling. Goku looks up at him, but doesn't move from his spot in the rock. Vegeta holds out his hand and throws out several ki blasts from the tips of his index and middle fingers. Bands of ki wrap around each of Goku's wrists, ankles, and his neck, tightening and holding him against the wall. He drops his arm and disappears, reappearing a few feet ahead of Goku. He steps forward. "What's wrong? Weren't you going to finish this off quickly?" Goku, "That's what I'm going to do." Vegeta smirks. "Hmph. I couldn't tell." He slaps Goku across the face. "My hatred for you doesn't end here!" He knees Goku in the stomach, and Goku cries out in pain. He begins punching Goku in the face, then in both the face and the stomach, and then he finally introduces his leg into the attack, using it mostly to knee Goku's midsection. As the attack picks up, Goku coughs up some blood. Vegeta stops. "It's not enough! This still isn't enough to take revenge against you!"

Vegeta destroys the planet Arlia with Nappa grinning beside him. After arriving on Earth, Nappa vaporizes a city simply by pointing his fingers up. Son Goku lands on a rock ledge, grinning as the wind blows through his hair, and Vegeta lands across from him. After the fight has progressed, Goku has lost his shirt and bulked up quite a bit with the Kaio-ken. Rocks crumble under Vegeta. Goku's 4x Kaio-ken Kamehameha battles Vegeta's Garlic Gun and wins. Burned out, Vegeta falls to the ground after being hit with the Genki Dama. On Namek, Super Saiya-jin Goku fires one last ki blast in retaliation against the desperate Freezer, who has been shredded by his own Kienzan. The blast hits and Freezer slowly disintegrates, or so it seems. Chibi Vegeta stands next to Vegeta Ou and grins as he watches hundreds of Saiya-jin space pods racing into the sky through a large window. They speak, but we can't hear the dialogue. Lightning dances over Perfect Cell as he stares down at the defeated Super Saiya-jin Vegeta, lying in the dirt below him. Super Saiya-jin 2 Son Gohan, after far surpassing everyone, fights an enormous blast duel with Cell and, with the spiritual help of his father, finally wins the battle as Cell is vaporized by the monstrous Kamehameha.

"I can't forgive myself, the Prince of the Saiya-jin, for being surpassed by the likes of you! Not only that, but you've even saved my life!" Goku hangs motionlessly on the rock wall, not responding. "I'll punish you with death by dismemberment!" He holds his hand up. "Your arms come off first!" Goku slowly opens his eyes and looks up. He clenches his fists and his arms quiver and bulk up. He begins to scream, "quietly" (as far as screams go) at first, but rising in volume. Vegeta, "What!?" Goku charges up his ki with one loud scream and the entire area goes dark around him. The burst of energy throws Vegeta back a few inches, and then it ends with Goku free of the wall. He stands before Vegeta with his arms still held to two huge slabs of rock that he pulled free of the wall with the rest of his body. He jumps forward and smashes the slab on his right arm into Vegeta, still stunned. The rock shatters, and Goku follows up with the other arm. Screaming, Vegeta flies back with all the smaller rocks that came out of the two shattered slabs. Goku charges forward and meets him in the sky, hitting him with a barrage of punches to the gut. Vegeta grunts in pain and when Goku lets up, he clutches his stomach. Goku knees him hard in the face and Vegeta sails through some rocks into what appears to be a hollow cliffside (like a cave with no opening, save the one Vegeta just made). Goku flies in after him and lands inside.

He looks around at what appears to be your typical cave, with stalactites and stalagmites in abundance. Sunlight shines through the new opening like a spotlight on Goku. He closes his eyes. "Where is he?" A few small rocks fall and Goku spins around to see a ki blast flying at him. He catches it, struggles against it for a few seconds, and finally manages to throw it out through the opening. "I'm right here, Kakkarotto!" Vegeta suddenly appears behind Goku and locks his arms around him (kind of like what Goku did to Raditsu). He flies straight up, carrying Goku with him, and intends to impale Goku on a stalactite. Goku gasps. Vegeta stops right in front and Goku suddenly charges up his ki, throwing Vegeta back. He spins around. "KAMEHAME...!" Vegeta throws up his arms. "Eat this!" From outside, we see a bright golden light pouring out from the hole, and then the entire "mountain," if it could even be called that, is fractured with a red spider web. More gold light shines through the cracks and of course, the whole damn thing explodes. A bright flash of golden light blinds the viewer and from far away, we see a mushroom cloud rise up.

Rocks fly through the sky as Son Goku and Vegeta stare each other down in the sky above the former mountain. They're maybe three or four yards apart. The light still hasn't faded, and so nothing of the background is really visible. When it finally does disappear, for some reason, all the debris goes with it. The two of them hover above a large hole in the Earth.

Gohan and Kaioushin land on the bottom level. Both look up. Kaioushin gasps, and when Gohan sees the egg that Kaioushin is staring at, he gasps too. It continues glowing intermittently and as it absorbs the damage energy from Goku and Vegeta, it makes a sound similar to that which Cell made when he absorbed something. They stare up at the sphere. "Is that Majin Buu's sphere?" Kaioushin nods. "Yes. The evil Majin Buu created by Madoshi Bibidi is in there." Gohan stares up at the ball. "Incredible. I've never felt such strong evil ki before." Babidi's voice calls out, "That's exactly right!" Gohan's eyes widen and Kaioushin gasps. Grinning, Babidi steps out from behind the sphere, and Dabura comes out on the other side. Babidi, "Welcome." He giggles. "Thank you for coming, Kaioushin." Kaioushin glares. "I came to kill you, Babidi." Babidi, "You killed my father." Kaioushin, "And I came to stop Majin Buu's resurrection." Babidi, "Unfortunately, I don't think it's going to be that easy for you. I have Dabura, the King of the Demon Universe, right here." Dabura grins and Gohan looks up at him. "Let's hurry, Gohan-san. While we're doing this, Majin Buu is absorbing Goku-san's damage energy." Gohan straightens up. "Right!" Kaioushin, "I'll fight Babidi." Red electricity dances around Majin Buu's sphere as we take in the entire scene.

Two balls of light collide over a crater, sending out a shockwave. The light fades away and reveals two figures fighting. Closer up, Vegeta throws a kick with his left (viewer's right) foot that Goku blocks. Another with his right, then again with the right, both blocked. Left, blocked; right, blocked. Left again, then right, and then left once more, always blocked. Finally, Goku throws a kick of his own with his left foot, and Vegeta blocks it. They separate and then charge forward again, going into a frenzy of punches, kicks, blocks, and dodges. They separate once more, then jump back at each other, locking arms and fighting with legs alone. The battle gives off a lot of energy in the form of yellow electricity. Vegeta and Goku grin at each other and finally, they separate yet again before jumping back into another barrage of punches and kicks.
