The Terrifying Majin Buu!! It's Feared that Gohan is On the Brink of Death

Majin Buu hangs in the sky above Kaioushin with his arms and legs spread out. Helpless, Kaioushin simply stares up in fear. He slowly backs away, but Majin Buu also slowly moves forward, and so the distance between them remains more or less the same, with Majin Buu maybe inching a little closer. Babidi laughs. "This is great, Majin Buu! Kill him! Kill him! Kill him!" Kaioushin stops moving and adopts a fighting pose as Buu, smiling as always, continues slowly moving in. Kaioushin glances toward the crater in the Earth, at the center of which rests Son Gohan. Gohan remains still for a moment, then slowly begins to move, first his arms, and then he struggles to lift himself all the way up. "Gohan-san..." Majin Buu laughs and screams. He puffs out his stomach, which is now just inches away from Kaioushin, and Kaioushin backs away, holding his arms up in defense and staring fearfully. He gasps as Majin Buu approaches. Finally, he screams and throws up his right hand, hitting Buu in the face with a gust of wind. Buu's head is thrown back, but he's not actually forced away from Kaioushin. Babidi gasps.

After a few seconds, Buu sits back up, still smiling. Once again, Kaioushin gasps. He lowers his hand, watching in terror. Buu's smile turns to a devilish grin and he suddenly claps his hands with Kaioushin's head caught in the middle. Kaioushin grunts in pain and surprise when they hit. Buu slowly removes his hands to reveal Kaioushin's now-battered face. His eyes are shut tightly and his mouth opens in another painful grunt. Buu pulls back his hand and clenches his fist. He smashes it down on top of Kaioushin's head rather than actually punching him, and Kaioushin plummets, plunging into the rocky ground below with the obligatory rock shower and dust cloud. Buu laughs/screams (it's hard to tell which) and does some sort of dance. Kaioushin races out of the dust cloud and appears right in front of Buu again. Buu, "Huh?" Kaioushin throws his hands together at the wrist (like Vegeta's Final Flash) in Majin Buu's midsection, powers up a large red ki blast, and fires. The blast goes straight through Buu, blowing a hole through him and continuing on. Kaioushin is forced to shield his own eyes from the bright explosion, and from afar, all that can be seen is a giant ball of pink light in the sky. The ball slowly shrinks and then fades away. Kaioushin opens his eyes and looks up at Buu. He gasps.

Majin Buu has been thrown back several yards and is lying on his back in the sky. He quickly rights himself, showing not even a scratch. He flies back up to Kaioushin, who of course has his little "Oh, shit..." gasp (if you'll pardon the language). His eyes twitch and he stares at Buu in shock and horror. "I-impossible!" Buu pulls back and smashes his own head into Kaioushin's. Kaioushin once again falls, screaming on the way down. Gohan watches helplessly. "Kaioushin-sama...!" Kaioushin crashes into a cliff and there's another nice little dust explosion. Babidi laughs. "That's incredible, Majin Buu! Kill him! Kill him!" Gohan watches angrily. He lowers his head and the light around him goes dark as he closes his eyes. His aura returns and then explodes, throwing up rocks that had landed on or around him when he first landed. Several boulders crash back down and Gohan struggles to his feet. He staggers forward, groaning in pain the whole way, and almost immediately falls back to his hands and knees. He takes a few deep breaths and looks back up. "K-Kaioushin-sama!"

In the sky, Majin Buu does his laugh/yell dance thing. Below, a few rocks fall away as Kaioushin struggles to get back up. His breathing is ragged and labored as the last of the rocks fall away. When he finally notices the sounds coming from Buu, he looks up to see Buu descending. He gasps. Buu lands a few yards away, still laughing -- so much so, actually, that he seems about to keel over. He holds his arms up with his fists clenched, then abruptly stops the laughing and replaces it with a wide, self-confident grin. Kaioushin glares fearfully and once again climbs to his feet. "If I have to..." He clenches his fists and teeth and shuts his eyes as if he's about to charge up his ki. Buu slowly walks forward, his feet creating imprints in the rock with every step. Kaioushin concentrates as Buu nonchalantly approaches. Suddenly, Kaioushin's eyes shoot open, glowing bright blue briefly. Majin Buu is thrown back with a surprised grunt. "How'd you like that!?" Buu quickly rights himself, smiling.

Kaioushin's pretty much out of ideas now. He just stares in horror as Buu sets his feet back down. Buu scratches his face and Kaioushin steps back, taking a fighting pose despite the futility of it. Buu holds up his right (yes, viewer's left) hand and clenches a fist at his side with the other in a fighting pose so crappy that it might not even be one. He begins walking forward, and for every step forward he takes, Kaioushin takes a step backward. Buu quickly flashes his devilish grin again and his eyes glow red. Kaioushin's face contorts in pain and he screams, but we only see a pretty close picture of his face, so we don't know much of what's happening (though there are those "motion blur" lines all over him). A view from farther away shows Kaioushin flying into the air and then skimming just over the ground as he flies back. He's so close to the ground actually, that he's throwing up a dust cloud around him as if he were actually sliding through the rock. Babidi watches happily, but is suddenly surprised to see Kaioushin racing toward him. "Wh-what!?" He turns to run and is almost hit by Kaioushin, but jumps up at the last second and lets Kaioushin pass under him. Kaioushin hits the ground with a loud crash and a large dust cloud. Babidi lands in the dust cloud and almost sounds like he's crying.

As the dust clears, he opens his eyes (and that there are no tears reveals that he wasn't crying, even if he sounded like he was) to see Kaioushin lying motionless in the dirt a few feet ahead of him. "Huh? You came all the way back here... Let's see how you're doing." He walks up to Kaioushin, who twitches a little, but doesn't even open his eyes. "Does it hurt much, Kaioushin?" He begins nudging Kaioushin's shoulder with his foot. "What a calamity, huh?" He hears a noise and looks up to see Majin Buu descending. "What!? He's back?" Buu lands right on top of Kaioushin, his foot knocking Babidi out of the way. Kaioushin cries out in pain, his eyes shooting wide open. He groans in pain. Babidi comes running back up. "What are you doing, napping here? One wouldn't think you were the king of the universe." Kaioushin ignores him and slowly tries to lift himself up, but fails and collapses on the ground. Babidi laughs. "This feels great! Maybe I should finish him off now!"

A scream rings out and Babidi looks over to see Son Gohan flying in with his foot outstretched. He collides with Majin Buu, knocking him away. Babidi screams and runs away. "Are you alright, Kaioushin-sama?" Kaioushin slowly looks back over his shoulder with a weak smile. Babidi stops running and looks back over at Gohan and Kaioushin. "Damn! And it was just getting good." Meanwhile, Buu, who didn't even fall over but instead caught his balance while on one foot, looks back over at Gohan. Gohan gasps. Buu begins cartwheeling back toward Gohan, laugh/yelling the whole way. He jumps back to his feet beside Gohan and puffs out his face to get rid of the imprint of Gohan's foot. He turns to Gohan, laughing. Gohan stares in fear and shock, his arms up in a fighting pose. "What is he!? That didn't hurt him at all!" Buu once more flashes his devilish grin and tells Gohan, "You're in the way. Disappear." Gohan launches forward with his right arm pulled back and Kaioushin yells, "GOHAN-SAN! Watch out!!" Buu throws his hands forward and throws a blue stream of ki at Gohan, which Gohan easily passes through. However, when Gohan's just a few inches away, what looked like just a beam of light basically turns into a ball of blue/white ki that quickly expands with Gohan caught on one side of it. Gohan screams as he rides the ki ball that's bigger than him. Kaioushin watches helplessly as the ball curves into the air. Babidi watches, laughing. "I can't see him anymore! I hope he falls off the edge of the universe!" The ki ball continues into the sky with Gohan helpless to even get off of it.

Kaioushin slowly climbs onto his hands and knees and looks back over his shoulder. His eyes flash blue and the ki ball explodes. Gohan falls out of the sky, through some trees and onto the floor of a forest. Kaioushin, back on the ground again, watches in that direction. "Please...survive..." His eyes close and his head falls to the ground. Babidi, "Hey! Did you just do something?" Kaioushin doesn't respond. He and Gohan lie in their respective places, unconscious or dead, you can take your pick.

--COMMERCIAL--

Decorations line the wall on either side of a door marked with a "Mr. SATAN" sign. The champion belt, bearing in gold the image of what appears to be a bat with some kanji on its stomach, sits on a table inside. Satan sits in a chair with his head in his hands, staring in silence at the belt. He looks up with his eyes, but doesn't move his head. "What... What in the world are they?" He pictures, from left to right, Kuririn, Vegeta, Son Goku, Son Gohan, and Number 18. They stand on what appears to be the Tenkaichi Budokai platform with a background that starts yellow/white near the bottom and in the middle, and as it goes out toward the sides and top, it turns darker orange, then black. Throughout the background are white dots. The image changes to Gohan and Videl smiling at each other and holding hands, then Gohan and Videl flying away, first an image from above, then an image from next to the shocked Mr. Satan. The next image is of Gohan and Videl sliding toward each other. Suddenly, Satan appears between them. "I forbid this! I won't let you go out with this nameless boy!" The image fades away and Satan simply screams in his empty room. He stops and looks around. "Huh?" He slaps himself a few times with both hands. "I have to cool off. Hm?" He crosses his arms. "Now that I think about it, why are those people and Videl able to fly? I know!! It's so stupid that no one's ever thought of it before but people must have the innate ability to fly!" (And actually, he's not too far off the mark with that seemingly ridiculous comment). "If that's not the case, then why can Videl fly?" He throws open his window and puts one foot up on the window sill. He holds out his arms to either side and a view from farther out reveals that he's on the third floor. A bird flies by. A drop of sweat rolls down his face. He stares out for a moment, then pulls his foot back in and shuts the window. He turns around, rubbing his chin, and clears his throat. He takes a few steps forward and rights a knocked-over chair (probably the one he had been sitting in before his thoughts turned to Videl and Gohan). He stands up on it and chuckles. "If a bunch of no-names can fly, then there's no reason why I, the Champion of the Tenkaichi Budokai, can't." He holds out his arms, screaming. He leaps into the air, then quickly falls and lands on his head. He stands and grabs his face, groaning in pain. "That didn't seem to work..." He jumps back up onto the chair. "...so I'll just have to do it this way!" He tries again, this time waving his arms and legs as he hangs in the air. But of course, he falls again, once more landing on his head. He grabs his battered face, groaning, almost to the point of crying. He suddenly looks up. "Huh?" A bunch of young girls stand in the now-open door. One of them, "Uh...we're members of the Mr. Satan Fan Club." Satan holds up his hands as he tries to explain. "Uh, well, I'm trying to invent a new special attack, you see." The girls all sigh in unison.

Babidi laughs maniacally. "I like how this is turning out! You tried to get in my way, but I really should thank you! Without the humans you brought, I couldn't have resurrected Majin Buu this fast." Still out, Kaioushin obviously doesn't respond. After a pause, Babidi continues, "The least I can do to show my gratitude is kill you myself." He looms over (which is funny, since he's about two and a half feet tall) Kaioushin. "I'm sure my Papa who was killed by you will be overjoyed as well!" He holds his hands over Kaioushin and prepares to kill him when Kaioushin's eyes twitch and he makes a noise. Babidi screams and pulls his hands back, but nothing else comes out of Kaioushin. "Well, I've had enough! Hey, Majin Buu, you can go ahead and kill Kaioushin now." Majin Buu, who has his back to Kaioushin and Babidi, doesn't turn around. "Hey! Majin Buu!" Buu looks down at his stomach, which growls. Babidi, "Huh?" Buu turns around. "I'm hungry. I'm going to eat him!" Babidi, "Eh!?" He laughs. "That's a great idea! Can you really eat him?" He laughs and pulls on his little whisker things. "That's the perfect way for Kaioushin to die! Alright! Majin Buu, eat him! Don't leave a single hair!" Majin Buu excitedly steps forward and looks down at Kaioushin, preparing to eat him.

Suddenly, a spear plunges through Majin Buu. Babidi's eyes go wide. "Eh!?" He steps back. Buu appears unfazed. "Huh?" Babidi, on the other hand, is going to shock. "Wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wha...?!" He looks back to see Dabura behind Buu with his arm still held out after throwing the spear. His chest heaves. He's apparently regenerated his eyes, as they're back now (but I'm pretty damned sure they got gouged out before...not just poked). "Ah, Dabura! I can't believe you're still alive! How dare you do that!?" He doesn't respond. Buu stares down at the spear. "Huh..."

Two lights appear on the horizon and are revealed to be the two miniature Super Saiya-jin, Son Goten and Trunks. They both scan the ground as they fly. Trunks, "That's weird. They should be around here." Goten is silent and they continue searching. Trunks looks up. "Hey, isn't that them?" Goten turns to where Trunks is looking. He sees something in the distance and smiles. Trunks, "Let's land." Goten, "Yeah!" They turn and dive for the ground, dropping their auras as they land. Trunks turns to Goten upon hitting the ground and whispers, "Goten, let's not be Super Saiya-jin or they'll find our ki." Goten agrees and they both fade out of Super Saiya-jin. They crawl up to the edge of the cliff and peer over the side. Trunks, "What's going on? I don't know any of them." Goten, "No, we saw that funny guy lying down over there at the Budokai." Trunks, "Yeah, you're right! Do you think he's dead?" Goten turns to Trunks. "Say, Trunks-kun, which one is the Majin?" Trunks, "What do you mean? It's too hard to tell from way back here. Hey Goten, let's get closer." Goten, "But..." Trunks jumps down the side of the cliff. "Hey Trunks-kun, wait for me!"

They both jump down the side of the cliff and at a much lower level, resume crawling forward. They pause when they reach an edge, then crawl down the side and continue. They now have a much better view of Dabura, Buu, Kaioushin, and Babidi. They don't have any sound, but they can clearly see Babidi hopping up and down. They both duck down behind some rocks. Trunks, "I don't know what's going on here." He crosses his arms. "Where did Papa, Gohan-san, and the others go?" Goten, "Brother... Huh? Hey, Trunks-kun..." Trunks, "What is it, Goten?" Goten points. "Look at that." Trunks, "Huh?" he looks up toward where Gohan's pointing at a figure on the cliff. Trunks, "Let's check it out." Goten agrees and they crawl forward again, then up the side of the cliff. They eventually stop crawling and instead start running up the side. They finally come to the top and see the stone Piccolo. Trunks gasps. Goten, "Piccolo-san." They both approach Piccolo. Trunks, "What is it? Some kind of doll?" He walks up and taps the tip of one of the fingers. "It's made of stone. But why is there a doll of Piccolo-san way out here?" He knocks on the stone cape, and on the other side, Goten is doing the same sort of stuff, tapping the fingers and such. Goten, "Huh?" He sees Kuririn down below. "There's a doll of Kuririn-san down there." Trunks, "This is weird." He punches the Piccolo doll and it falls over. "Huh?" It hits the ground and breaks into several pieces. "T-Trunks-kun!" Trunks, "Oh...oh no!" They peer over the side of the mountain again to see that Babidi is still hopping and nothing has really changed. Trunks sighs. "It looks like they haven't noticed us."

Babidi angrily clenches his fists as Dabura stalks forward. "Babidi-sama, this person, this Majin Buu will never be fit to serve you! Someday he'll stop following your orders and your magic will be no good against him." But Babidi just glares angrily, clenching his fists. He looks over at Majin Buu, who's still staring down at his spear. Dabura, "If you don't kill him now, something terrible will happen." Babidi, "Shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up!!" Dabura, "Huh?" Babidi, "How dare you do this to my Majin Buu!?" He points to his skewered slave. "Babidi-sama?" Babidi, "How dare you!" Majin Buu grabs the spear and pulls it out. "Hm." Both Dabura and Babidi are shocked. Buu discards the spear. "Majin Buu, are you alright?" He turns around and Babidi gasps at the hole in his chest. The hole slowly closes and within seconds, it appears there was never an injury at all. Dabura, "Wh-what!?" Buu smiles. "Impossible!" Babidi, "Huh?" He suddenly starts laughing happily. He hops up and down. "Amazing, amazing! Papa made an incredible Majin!" Dabura simply stares in shock. Buu grins and narrows his eyes at Dabura. "I'm going to eat you." Babidi watches anxiously as Buu steps forward, while Dabura simply stares in shock. Meanwhile, Gohan lies motionless in the forest as a snail moves over his face, and Goku remains knocked out on his battlefield as Vegeta stares into the hole in the ship's floor that leads to the fourth stage.
