A Warrior's Resolve!! I'm Going to Destroy the Majin Myself

Smoke rises out of a crater. Wind blows across desolate land. Son Goku remains on the ground. "V-Vegeta..." Aside from that one word, he says or does nothing more. Somewhere else in the world, Majin Buu charges toward our Super Saiya-jin friend, Majin Vegeta. Vegeta rushes forward himself and when he nears Majin Buu, he pulls back his right arm and delivers a strong punch to Buu's face. He follows up with another from the left arm, then a kick with his left leg to the back of the head. Buu falls face down on the ground and slides through the dirt, his back bending and his feet hanging up over his head. His lower half falls back to the ground with a loud crash. Babidi stares in shock. "Wh-what's going on!? What are you doing to my Majin Buu!?" Vegeta lands a few feet away from Buu, who still hasn't moved. A little bit of dust drifts out in all directions around Buu.

Kuririn, "A-amazing! Vegeta's incredibly strong!" Goten simply stares with a wide grin. Trunks throws his fist into the air. "Way to go, Papa! Get him some more! Get him!" Piccolo is a little less enthusiastic about the prospect of a super-powered Vegeta. He clenches his teeth as he glares down at the battlefield, sweat running down his face. "Even he... Even Vegeta's surpassed the limits of Super Saiya-jin!?"

Majin Buu staggers back to his feet. "Hm?" He looks up to see Vegeta already attacking again, before Buu has even had a chance to rid himself of the impact marks from Vegeta's previous assault. With a shout, Vegeta kicks him hard in the head and his face basically disappears, lost in a huge dent from the force of the kick. Buu starts to fall back when Vegeta elbows him hard in the face. Majin Buu falls with his head planted in the dirt and his feet sticking up above him almost completely vertically. Vegeta slides backwards as he lands in a crouching position, pulling his hand back through the dirt. He uses that position to launch himself forward again and he buries his knee in Majin Buu's stomach. Buu rolls head over heels backward and Vegeta once again races forward, not letting up for a second.

As he watches the fight, Piccolo observes, "He's gotten incredibly powerful. He's at least as strong as Gohan was against Cell, and probably stronger." As he's talking, Vegeta starts appearing at various spots around Buu, always with a barrage of punches aimed at the head, but just from different angles. Close up, a punch to the face, a knee to the gut, a kick to the face, and then back to a view farther away of the angle-changing before a shot of Piccolo's scrutinizing face. "B-but even Gohan was defeated by Buu. We don't know what's happened to Goku. Vegeta's the only one who has a chance fighting against Majin Buu." Vegeta delivers a strong punch with his left arm to Buu's face that lifts Buu off the ground. "Not only the Earth, but the existence of the entire universe now depends on your strength, Vegeta!"

Vegeta rushes forward again, this time attacking with such speed that we can't actually see the individual hits. Rather, we see a faint blur and then a new dent in Buu appears. There are four of those in various places (one to the face, one behind the ear, one to the stomach, one to the leg) and Buu stumbles backward. Vegeta's fist skims over the ground as he pulls it up and into Buu's face, leaving a trail through Buu's upturned chin. Majin Buu is launched into the sky. Vegeta watches for a moment, then vanishes. Buu bursts through a layer of clouds and Vegeta emerges right beside him, rising higher and glaring down at Buu. Vegeta pulls both his fists back over his head, cupping one hand around the other, and with a shout, brings them down together for a hard hit to Buu's face. Once again, the hit itself is just a blur, and we only see a new dent on Buu's face. Majin Buu plummets toward the ground, punching holes in each cloud he passes through. Vegeta appears behind his head, pulls back, and throws a strong kick. As the kick is thrown, the 'camera' moves to a very far out view, and so rather than seeing specifically where the hit lands, we just see the impact send out a shockwave around two small dots in the distance. The dots continue to descend and eventually hit the Earth with a crash and a cloud of dust.

Babidi's eyes are wide and he's just completely stunned. "M-Majin Buu! There's no way that my Majin Buu can lose!" Dust rises from Buu's crater and we get the obligatory "falling rock" sounds. Piccolo watches in silence. Kuririn, "Incredible!" Trunks begins jumping up and down, throwing his fists into the air and yelling, "He did it! He did it! He did it!" He stops hopping and says, "You're great, Papa!" A large rock falls on Majin Buu. Trunks, "Did you see how strong my Papa was!?" He grins. Goten, "Yeah! He's great!" Trunks, "Of course he is! He's my Papa!" Finally, they turn back to the battlefield. All is silent except for a small rock falling into the dark abyss of the crater.

Majin Buu's arm sticks up out of the rocks. He catches the small falling rock and crushes it in his fist. Vegeta glares silently ahead as he waits for Buu to return, and soon enough, a large boulder shatters and Buu flips up out of the hole. He lands in front of Vegeta, still sporting all the marks from Vegeta's hits. He puffs out his face and the marks disappear. He smiles, and then does the same for his stomach, arms, and legs. Kuririn, "What's that?" Buu finishes clearing up all of the marks. Babidi laughs. "Way to go, Majin Buu! Now it's your turn! Get Vegeta!" He points at Vegeta as he yells. Buu begins to hop on one foot, then on the other, yelling, just as he did before eating Dabura (except this time, he's just making noise, he's not actually chanting "I'm gonna eat you!").

Vegeta takes a half-step back. He clenches his left fist tightly and holds up his right hand, palm out toward Buu. Buu stops hopping and bends over, smiling and looking from side to side. Electricity cracks through Vegeta's aura. He glares at Buu from behind his outstretched right arm. The sky begins to darken; neither of them move. We see literally close to a minute of scenery and Vegeta staring at Buu before Trunks breaks the silence with, "Go, Papa!" Vegeta charges up his ki and his stronger aura throws up more dust around him against an increasingly darker sky. Buu simply stares with what looks to be a combination of fear and curiosity (like he knows something bad is coming and he wants to know what it is). Vegeta finally fires a single ki blast. Buu's eyes widen and he screams when it hits. It tears a hole right in his midsection and continues on. Buu flips backwards several times through the air before landing on his back and sliding back to a stop on his head. Babidi gasps. Buu's feet stick up in the air once again, except this time there's a gaping hole in the middle of his body. He falls over so that he's now face down in the dirt.

Piccolo clenches his fists, throws his head back, and howls. Goten and Trunks hop up and down, throwing their fists in the air and in unison shouting, "He did it! He did it!" Kuririn sits on the ground, smiling. "He really is incredible." Smoke rises from Majin Buu's hole; Vegeta's arm remains outstretched. After several more seconds, he lowers his arm and grins. Babidi falls to his knees, yelling at the sky, "This can't be happening! Not to my Majin Buu!"

Majin Buu lies motionless. Or well, he lies motionless for a few moments before he clenches a fist. Vegeta, "Hm?" Trunks, "He did it!...Huh?" Vegeta watches as Buu slowly climbs back to his feet, a huge hole cut cleanly through his stomach. His eyes are shut tightly with anger. He sticks out his stomach and the hole disappears. He looks from side to side, then to Vegeta, and then straight up. Vegeta stares at him. Buu looks back to Vegeta, smiling. "That hurt a little." Vegeta, "Are you immortal?" Laughing, Babidi hops back and forth from one foot to the other, throwing his hands in the air. "Way to go, Majin Buu! Kill him!" Buu hunches over with a deep breath and crosses his arms at about the wrist in front of his chest. Vegeta watches quietly; Buu groans and the sky goes dark with Buu glowing a faint red/pink.

--COMMERCIAL--

Majin Buu remains in exactly the same position, but quickly takes on a spherical red aura. A very low cloud of dust (it only rises maybe a foot off the ground) is thrown up around the aura. Still, Vegeta does nothing. Buu glares at him. "Why you... Why you...!" A strong wind begins to blow. Rather than just a red aura, a pink light flickers all around Buu and "waves" (for lack of a better term) of pink/red flow out around him. The dust cloud begins to pick up a bit, and Vegeta has assumed a more defensive position. The Z Senshi watch from afar as Buu powers up whatever he's got coming. Kuririn, "Oh...oh no..." Trunks, Goten, and Piccolo watch in fear, but don't say anything. The waves of light given off by Majin Buu pass by overhead.

Babidi, "Wh-what are you doing...!?" Buu opens his eyes, once again glaring at Vegeta. "Why you..." From outer space, we see the waves of light washing over an entire area of the Earth. The center from which they're all coming begins to glow brightly a white/yellow color, while further away, it fades to a pink, and then to black. Vegeta gasps. The entire area begins to go dark. Buu throws his arms up and his head back. "I HATE YOU!!"

Babidi throws his hands up defensively. "B-barrier!" Piccolo, "R-run!" Bright light shines on them from the direction of Buu. Vegeta crosses his arms in front of his face, watching Buu. The dome of pink light flickers and begins expanding as an odd sound not unlike machinery starting up begins. Around the dome of light is a circle of lit area, and beyond that, darkness. The dome continues expanding and then explodes in a blinding flash. Vegeta screams and is thrown back. Rocks disintegrate. Babidi yells as the explosion hits his barrier. An enormous beam of light flows from the planet into outer space. It slowly begins to fade away into a single bright point at the center. Lighting around the planet begins to return to normal.

At the battlefield, daylight returns. Large dust clouds move over a massive hole. Majin Buu hovers in the sky above said hole with his arms and legs outstretched. A yellow ball hovers by him and lands nearby. Inside, Babidi sighs. "That was close." Dust and smoke rise from the ground. A large rock falls over. Piccolo climbs to his feet, sighing. "Is everyone alright?" Kuririn throws a boulder off of himself and sighs as well. "That was dangerous..." Trunks pushes away another enormous boulder and slides out. He rubs his head and lands near Piccolo and Kuririn. Kuririn takes a few steps forward, looking around. "Eh? Where's Goten?" He stops when a few rocks in front of him fall into a hole. "Hm?" He looks down into the hole and is greeted by a "monster," which is in fact just a small lizard. Startled, Kuririn falls back. Laughing, Goten emerges from the hole with the lizard on his head. Trunks grins. Kuririn, "Y-you shouldn't surprise me like that, Goten!" Goten, "Right. I'm glad you're alright, Lizard-san." He smiles and waves to the lizard, which looks up at him and cocks its head. It shakes its ears and blinks its eyes.

Piccolo suddenly jumps up. "Kaioushin-sama!!" His voice echoes throughout the surrounding area. Trunks stares out at the crater. "PAPA!" Vegeta sits on the ground, his hand supporting him. Blood runs down his arm. His eyes twitch as he looks up at Buu, hanging in the sky above. Buu is doing some dance with his usual nonsensical sounds. Vegeta climbs to his feet and takes a few steps forward, his right hand clutching his left arm. "D-damn it! Not only is he strong, but it looks like he's immortal too! Damn him!" Babidi watches him, giggling. "He's a tenacious jerk. If he hadn't rebelled against me, he would have made a good slave. Too bad." His barrier disappears.

Trunks lands on a new cliff. "Papa!" Piccolo seems to already be there, and Kuririn and Goten join them. Piccolo, "N-not even Vegeta was able to do anything to Majin Buu... Gohan is dead and even the rightful king of the universe, Kaioushin-sama is too. Wh-what's going to happen now...?" Trunks, "Papa...! Papa's not gonna lose to that Majin!" Piccolo glares with frustration at the battle below.

Majin Buu lands several yards across from Vegeta. They glare at each other in silence. Buu raises his hand and waves. "You're finished. Bye bye, bye bye, bye bye..." Vegeta, "What can I do? How can I defeat that monster?" Majin Buu grabs a chunk of his stomach and begins pulling on it. Vegeta gasps. Finally, Buu completely severs the chunk from the rest of his body. The Z Senshi watch in shock. Yelling, Buu stretches the ball of Buu-flesh out. Vegeta, "What a disgusting guy. What the hell does he think he's doing?" Buu drops the strand from one hand so that he's only holding it up with his right arm. Vegeta, "Don't mess with me!" Buu begins "running" (though I use the term loosely) forward, holding the chunk of stomach. He stops and suddenly spits a ki blast at Vegeta. Vegeta leaps out of the way, and Buu begins running again, spitting several ki blasts in quick succession while spinning the chunk of flesh in his hand. Vegeta dodges ki blast after ki blast. He smirks. "Hmph. I don't even have to open my eyes to avoid attacks like that!" Buu opens his mouth wide and Vegeta gasps. An enormous ki blast erupts from his mouth and as it flies forward, Vegeta vanishes. It explodes in a pink dome of light as Vegeta flies away. Buu grins devilishly, jumps back, and lobs the chunk of flesh at Vegeta. Vegeta gasps as it wraps tightly around him. He drops out of the sky.

Buu lands, and a few feet away, Vegeta crashes to the ground as well. Buu hops from foot to foot, humming triumphantly. Trunks gasps. Piccolo, "This is bad!" Smiling, Buu walks up to Vegeta. He jumps over him with his arms and legs out, then turns around and kicks him hard. Vegeta flies several yards and crashes to the ground. Smiling gleefully, Buu lowers his foot. Vegeta coughs up some blood. Buu drops out of the sky and lands on top of him, causing tremors in the ground. Vegeta grunts. Piccolo clenches a fist. Kuririn, "He'll be killed! What's happened to Goku and Gohan!? Are they already dead!?" Goten looks back over his shoulder at Kuririn. "B-Brother would never die!" Trunks glares with rage at Buu. Piccolo, "Control yourself, Trunks. If you attack, you'll just throw your life away. All you'll do is cause Vegeta more suffering." As he speaks, we see Buu pummeling the helpless Vegeta with punches. Suddenly, Trunks screams and turns Super Saiya-jin. "NO!" He rushes forward to help Vegeta. Goten, "Trunks-kun!" He, too, turns Super Saiya-jin and flies off. As Babidi watches happily, Buu continues beating up on Vegeta. Trunks charges forward with his fist outstretched as Vegeta coughs up more blood.
