Bye Bye, Babidi!! Majin Buu Rebels

Babidi nervously backs away as Majin Buu and Son Goku move toward him. Goku pummels Majin Buu, who puts up very little resistance. Lightning constantly erupts from the center of the battle. Goku ends his assault with a strong punch to the face that throws Buu back; Babidi is shocked at how easily Buu is being tossed around. "Buu! What's wrong, Buu!?" Buu stops, growls, and launches himself back toward Goku to resume the battle, this time actually fighting back. They go into a typical punching/kicking thing and begin moving across the screen again, causing Babidi to dodge once again. They stop as Goku's wrist blocks a strong punch, but lightning continues to shoot out from between them. People in the city below watch in amazement. Man, "What's going on above our city!?" Old man, "What is that!?"

Everyone is, of course, watching from God's Palace via Babidi's world-wide transmission. Kuririn, "Way to go, Goku!" Goten, "Hang in there, Dad!" Piccolo, "I-is that really Son? Super Saiya-jin 3 is more powerful than anything we've ever imagined." The area is cloaked in silence for a few seconds before we return to the fight, where Goku has once again gone on the offensive. He halts his attack temporarily to pull back and, with a shout, delivers a strong kick to Buu's stomach. His leg is buried in Buu's body up to about the knee; he gasps. Buu grins and begins to expand, engulfing Goku's body. Babidi watches gleefully. Goku struggles futiley against the ever-expanding Buu. Buu grins as Goku begins to disappear. Soon, only his left hand remains. "Way to go, Buu! Squish him to death!" Kuririn, "Goku!!" Goten, "Dad!" Piccolo, "He'll be alright. Son wouldn't let himself be killed that way." Babidi does a little jig as he cheers Buu on. "That's it, Buu!" Goku has just about completely disappeared within Buu when a bright light emanates and lightning begins to strike out of the small hole through which the last of Goku is still visible. Babidi screams and dives away as the lightning turns to a wave of golden ki. Buu screams, engulfed in a sphere of golden ki. Babidi, "I don't believe it!" Freed, Goku looks back over his shoulder with a grin as he turns back around to face Buu. The now-deflated Buu floats away, completely flattened. He begins to inhale until he's back to his usual self, then sighs.

Trunks continues digging around the Capsule Corporation building. "I can't find it! The Dragon Radar isn't here!" Dr. Briefs looks around. "Now, where did that Dragon Radar go?" Bulma's mom, "Why don't you take a break and start the real search after that?" Trunks, "We don't have time for that! They might destroy the city while we're wasting time, and if I don't find the Dragon Radar, we won't be able to restore everything!" Bulma's mom, "That would be too bad!"

Son Goku flies toward Buu, punching him hard in the face when they meet. Buu falls back and Goku knees him in the face. Once again, Buu falls. He catches himself quickly, sits up, and unleashes a volley of red ki blasts which Goku easily swats away. Goku throws a yellow ki blast that looks something like a Kamehameha, but Buu catches it between his hands and smashes it into nothing. They fly at each other and go into a good old fashioned hitting/kicking thing again, with, of course, the obligatory lightning. "Way to go, Buu!" Buu knocks Goku back for a second and stops to pose triumphantly in response to Babidi's cheering, but Goku, never one to waste an opportunity, promptly jumps up and hits him. Babidi slaps his forehead. "What's that idiot thinking!?" Goku, "Trunks' ki still hasn't started to move. What are you doing, Trunks? There's no helping it. I'll have to delay them a while longer." Goku adopts a fighting pose, lightning running over his body.

Buu lunges forward. He throws a punch, but hits only air as Goku disappears. He looks up, disappointed, and sees Goku several yards away. With a scream, he once again flies forward, only to stumble into empty air again. He looks up angrily, and again, Goku is a pretty good distance away, surrounded by lightning. Steam pours out of the holes in Buu's head and he angrily flails his arms and legs. Babidi hovers up next to Buu and yells at Goku, "Damn it! What are you doing, you cheater!? Are you trying to run away!?" With a smile, Buu once again races forward, and once again, hits only air. Goku appears a few feet away and Buu immediately chases him again...and of course, he misses again. This goes on four more times before a cut to the city below. A group of people watches from a bridge. Man, "Look! They're getting farther away!" Someone else, "Great! We're saved!" And in quick succession, there are five more instances of Buu hitting nothing but empty air. He stops and vents more steam, then once again, lunges forward. This time, instead of dodging, Goku flies right back at him and embeds his foot in Buu's face, sending out a small shockwave around them. Goku pulls back. Buu inserts his fingers into his ears and blows to allow his face to reshape itself. He angrily begins flailing his limbs and screaming, and then he suddenly disappears. Goku gasps, and is surprised when Buu appears right in his face and smashes his head into Goku's. Of course, there's the usual eruption of lightning and shockwaves. Goku falls back as Babidi joins Buu. "Way to go, Majin Buu!" Buu turns around, does a pose, and makes some incoherent noises.

Goten, "Don't give up, Dad!" Kuririn, "Goku!" Piccolo, "Goku..." Videl, Yamucha, Muten Roshi, Oolong, Puar, and Bulma (yeah, it was necessary to list them all individually) all watch in silence. Suddenly, Bulma opens her eyes. "That's it." Muten Roshi looks back at her. "What is it?" Bulma, "Trunks doesn't know where the Dragon Radar is." Kuririn, "Eh?" Bulma, "I'm sorry, but I left the Radar in the plane after we got all the Dragon Balls." In unison, a collective "Eh?" from everyone else. Kuririn runs up to Bulma. "Does Trunks know that?" Bulma, "He couldn't." Kuririn, "He's been wasting his time looking for the Radar then. So that's why Trunks hasn't gotten back yet." Roshi, "We'll have to contact Trunks right away. Kuririn, get a phone." Kuririn, "There are no phones here." Videl, "Well, I have one." Kuririn, "Videl!" Videl steps forward with her cellular phone, smiling. "Since I work as a part-time Champion of Justice, they have to be able to get ahold of me at all times, so I have a cell phone." She holds it out and Kuririn runs up to her, putting his hand on her shoulder. "Alright! Now we can get ahold of Trunks!" Roshi walks up to her. "Good job, Videl!" He puts a finger on her breasts and she promptly smacks him. He lies on the ground, his leg twitching, as the number is dialed.

And the battle continues. Goku is basically just beating up on Buu, who does nothing to defend himself for a while. Finally, Buu holds out his hands and forms a red ki blast, pushing Goku back. Babidi, "Way to go! You've got him!" Goku rides the blast back for a while, then finally neutralizes it by charging up his own ki. Kaiousama watches the battle from Dai Kaiousama's planet. "Goku, behave yourself! Finish the fight quickly! If you stay in that state any longer, you'll have to leave the Earth!" Goku grins as Buu does a little victory dance. "You're a lot stronger than I expected."

The phone rings at the Capsule Corporation building. Mrs. Briefs answers. "Ah, Bulma. Is everyone doing well?" Bulma nods. "We're fine. Could you let me speak to Trunks?" Mom, "Trunks? Just a second." She turns to Trunks. "Trunks, phone call for you." Trunks, "I don't have time for that now!" She turns back to the phone. "He says he doesn't have time for that now." Bulma, "We don't have time for that! Put Trunks on, quickly!"

Trunks, "Eh? It's on the plane!" He runs out. "The plane! The plane!" Then he suddenly stops. "...Did we have a hangar in our house?" He begins jogging in place and spinning around. "Let's see..." Dr. Briefs looks up from his paper. "You're looking for a plane?" He walks over to a table and picks up a white container. He opens it up. "Here's the plane."

Majin Buu continues his little dance. After a few more seconds, he stops and sighs. "Here I go again!" Goku stares at him. Buu pulls back his arm, then throws a punch, his arm extending to cover the distance between them. Goku ducks below the punch. Buu throws out the other hand and Goku jumps above it. He flies in feet first and kicks Buu in the face. As he falls back, Buu uses his still-extended arms to grab Goku by the shoulders. He grins and retracts his arms, pulling himself back up to Goku. When he arrives, he again hits Goku in the face with his own head. Goku falls back, but quickly recovers. WIth a shout, he throws a Kamehameha. It passes straight through Buu and continues on. Babidi's eyes go wide and he cries out in surprise. "What!? What was that!?"

Majin Buu drifts through the sky with a gaping hole in his midsection. Goku smiles as he watches from behind his still-outstretched arms. Babidi is speechless for a while, but after much verbal fumbling, manages to spit out, "Buu! Majin Buu!" Motionless thus far, Buu suddenly raises his head and grins. Goku, "Hm?" Buu rights himself, still sporting a huge hole, and with yet another strange, incoherent noise, a pale ball of light surrounds him for an instant, his stomach expands a little, and the hole vanishes. Babidi, "Huh?" He laughs. "Long live Majin Buu!" Goku glares up at him as Majin Buu moves to a position above him. He takes on a pretty familiar position. Goku, "I don't believe it! Kamehameha!" Majin Buu forms a red ki blast between his hands and fires it at Goku. Goku holds his hands together and bats the blast away. It flies right back at Buu, so he hits it away and its new course takes it toward Babidi. He screams and dodges it, and the blast explodes somewhere far away, creating a strong wind. Goku seems to have to struggle to hold up against it, but Buu is just fine.

At God's Palace, the ground is shaking. Muten Roshi, "It's even effecting this temple!" On Kaioushin Kai, Gohan stops whatever he was doing with the Zetto Sword and looks off into the sky. "Incredible. That's an amazing fight. As far away as I am, it feels like they're fighting right next to me." Kaioushin, "Gohan-san, it looks like Goku-san might have a hard time winning." Gohan looks back at him. "Huh?" Kaioushin, "That's how strong Majin Buu is." Kibit growls. Kaioushin continues, "The best way we have of defeating Majin Buu is with that legendary sword. You have to master the Zetto Sword." Gohan, "I understand." With a shout, he begins lifting it. He raises it up over his head, then stumbles back, almost falling on Kibit, who extends an arm to right him again. Gohan steps forward before finally fully regaining balance. He looks back and smiles. "This is a lot harder than it looks." Kibit, "Is this going to work? No Kaioushin-sama has ever been able to use that legendary sword." Kaioushin smiles as Gohan takes a few swings with the sword.

Majin Buu glares at Goku with a devliish grin while Goku stares back at him. Babidi has been throwns around by the wind, but he finally rights himself. "Watch it! You almost killed me, you fat bastard!" Buu looks out the corner of his eye at Babidi. Babidi laughs. "That destroyed almost a tenth of the Earth! What kind of hero are you!?" He taunts Goku, giggling. Goku ignores him. "Buu, you're incredible. Even though you look bad, you're a great fighter. You were able to master that technique after only seeing it once. I'm impressed." Buu smiles and puffs his chest out, and his nose extends several inches.

Dr. Briefs, "In this capsule is an airplane." On the lawn outside the Capsule Corporation building, they throw the capsule and the plane materializes. "Here it is, Trunks." Trunks gets in and starts digging around while Dr. Briefs smokes a cigarette outside, and Bulma's mom just kind of stands there. Trunks reappears in the doorway. "Here it is!" Bulma's mom, "Thank goodness! Do you want a snack?" Trunks, "I don't have time for that now! I've got to go!" He turns and runs off, turning Super Saiya-jin on the ground and then launching into the sky. Mom, "He came all this way. The least he could ahve done was have a snack." Trunks races through the air back toward God's Palace.

Goku looks off out the corner of his eye. "Hm? Trunks is beginning to move. He must have found the Dragon Radar and is leaving the Western Capital. Alright! My job here is done." He charges up his ki, then fades into Super Saiya-jin 2, and then back to his normal state. He sighs. Buu, "Huh?" Babidi, "Eh?" Buu, "Hey! Why'd you change back to normal? That fight was fun!" He smiles. "Let's fight some more!" Goku, "I'm flattered, but I have to go now. I can't spend too much time playing with you. Sorry, but I've got to leave." Babidi laughs. "Fool! Do you think we'd let you get away? Show him, Majin Buu! Kill him!" Buu does his dance. "After we kill him, we'll go to the Western Capital and kill everyone there. Those three who attacked me are sure to come to us!" Images of Piccolo, Trunks, and Goten pass over the screen. Goku, "Listen well, Babidi. In three -- no, two -- days, Piccolo, Trunks, and Goten will come to you. Don't do anything until then. Don't cause anymore meaningless death. Just two more days! That's it! Got it?" After a pause, Buu smiles. "Are they strong?" Goku, "Of course!" Buu, "Ooh!" Babidi laughs. "Do you think I'd go along with that? You've just made me want to kill them all that much more." Goku smiles. "Too bad. I thought it would make a fun fight for Majin Buu. Hey, Babidi, when you go to hell, I'll make sure Enma-daiou has a special punishment for you." Babidi, "Idiot!" Goku, "Bye!" He puts his fingers to his forehead and disappears. Buu looks around. "Hm? Huh?" Babidi's eyes are wide. "H-he disappeared!" Buu continues looking from side to side. Babidi, "What was that? Why did he come here? Hey, Majin Buu! You let him get away! You fat cow!" He pauses, but Buu, his back to Babidi, doesn't react. "He should still be around here somewhere! Find him! Quickly!" Still, Buu does nothing. "Hey, can't you hear me, you idiot!? Do it!" Buu glares angrily ahead. He slowly turns around, his glare melting to a smile. "Babidi-sama." Babidi, "Wh-what is it?" Buu, "I just had a good idea." Babidi, "What? A good idea? You're too stupid. I'm sure it can't be too good. Hurry and tell me." Buu flies over to him and holds his hand up to his mouth as if passing a secret. "You see, Babidi-sama..." Babidi, "What is it? Tell me quickly, then go find that guy." Majin Buu grins devilishly and his hand shoots out, wrapping around Babidi's neck. Babidi kicks his feet helplessly as Buu grins. Buu holds him up. "Now you can't talk, can you? So you can't imprison me with the incantation!" Babidi's tongue protrudes from his mouth and his eyes are wide and bloodshot.

Goku reappears at God's Palace. Piccolo, "Hm?" He looks back over his shoulder. Goten, "Dad." He smiles and runs up to Goku. Piccolo, "Son!" Goten hugs his dad and Goku reaches down to rub his head. "You were great, Dad!" Goku smiles. Piccolo, "Are you alright, Son?" Goku looks up to him from Goten. "Yeah." Bulma smiles. "It looks like Trunks is on his way back here." She takes a few steps forward. "Your plan has worked for now." Goku, "...For now. Even if the Western Capital is destroyed, now that we have the Dragon Radar, we'll be able to set everything back to normal and we'll be able to bring everyone back to life."

Babidi puts up a futile struggle against Majin Buu's grip. "I've learned a lot from you, but I don't need you anymore and I can't stand you anymore." Buu smiles and creates a fist with his free hand. He rasies it, pulls it back... "Die, fool!" Babidi watches in horror as Buu's fist flies forward, and the screen is covered in red.
