Super Vegeta in Grave Danger!! The Perfect Terror Draws Near

Kuririn lies on the ground, smoke or steam or something rising off of him. Trunks, "Kuririn-san..." Number 16 gasps. Kuririn is still for several seconds. Finally, he starts to move. He slowly pushes himself up from the ground. One eye is shut, but he seems to be smiling. He coughs violently, spewing phlegm and presumably dirt. He climbs to his feet.

Cell kicks the air, enjoying his new power. Trunks gets angry. Cell looks over at him. Kuririn, "He's...too powerful... It's the first time that... before I can feel the pain..." His vision goes out of focus. He laughs. "All of my bones have been broken." He collapses, unconscious. Trunks looks over. "Kuririn-san!" He flies over to Kuririn while Cell continues to fight with air. Cell, "He's really lucky to be able to feel the power of my attack on his own." Number 16 growls/gasps for breath (eh, it's sort of like an exhaling gasp, but there's also anger behind it). Trunks rolls Kuririn onto his back. "Hold on, Kuririn-san!" He reaches into his armor and pulls something out. "It's a senzu! Can you eat it?" He sticks it Kuririn's open mouth. "Please, just swallow it."

Vegeta lands behind Cell and crosses his arms. Cell looks back at him. Vegeta, "Killing such a weak man...do you feel happy about it?" Cell continues pumping his arms and legs around. He rubs his elbow. "Just as I thought. It's no big deal, even though you've become a whole body." Cell looks up. "It's such a disgrace to attack that weak fellow. Please help me with my warm-up." Vegeta's eyes narrow. Cell laughs. "Alright. At the same time, I'll get rid of you." Cell, "Please." He turns to face Vegeta, and the two assume fighting stances. Vegeta's aura appears around him.

Kuririn coughs and begins breathing, although it is labored. Trunks smiles and lifts Kuririn up. "Alright, Kuririn-san." Trunks stands up. Kuririn rubs his neck. "That was dangerous. I almost thought you would die. Kuririn-san..." Kuririn, "Oh no. Vegeta will be killed." Trunks gasps and spins around. Kuririn stands up. "Of course, I can never compare myself with Saiya-jin. Even whether my opponent is strong or not, I'll still be able to tell." (that's worded so badly, it's probably mistranslated to an extent... my interpretation: "Even if my opponent is stronger than me, I can still sense their ki." As in, he can still understand the full depth of their power, even when it surpasses his own). "I just know he's really scary. Though I was only touched by him, I knew exactly how horrible he is."

Perfect Cell and Super Vegeta prepare to do battle. Vegeta takes a step forward. Cell takes a step back. Vegeta turns to face more toward Cell (before, his body had been facing off to the side, with his head turned toward Cell). Cell continues to hold his arms straight out, but moves them around and changes their position in relation to the other. Number 16, "Cell has really gotten stronger. But Vegeta is still taking the lead." A little sensor in his eye begins to flash and beep. "Don't judge by the current ki. Cell's potential is much more than this. Just like you, Trunks." Trunks looks down at him. Kuririn, "You know it, too?" They both turn to watch the upcoming fight.

Vegeta jumps forward. A caught kick, a blocked punch, a blocked knee, and then Vegeta jumps over Cell and lands behidn him, near Number 16. "The increase of power in the whole body is huge. He wasn't bragging." Cell turns around. Vegeta leaps forward, screaming. He goes into a barrage of punches, but Cell easily blocks each of them. Vegeta gets a good punch right in Cell's stomach, but Cell isn't hurt.

Kuririn, "That's exactly how Vegeta is. Maybe he didn't notice it. Now I kind of understand why you tried to stay away from Vegeta. You've already transcended to a level that Vegeta can never reach. Am I right?" Trunks stares at him, but doesn't answer.

Vegeta runs forward to begin another assault. Once again, Cell blocks each hit. They start to fight into the air, with Vegeta pushing Cell higher and higher. They stop for a very brief second (not even an entire second, actually), and then Vegeta jumps forward and starts once again. Number 16 watches from the ground. Vegeta yells as his attack goes on. He pushes Cell into a wall. "Well? This is all the power of a whole body?" Cell smiles. Vegeta screams and flies at him, but Cell grabs him and they change positions, so that Vegeta's stuck against the wall. Vegeta glares at Cell, Cell smiles back. Cell throws a punch that Vegeta barely manages to dodge. He lets out a frightened grunt. He stares at Cell with a fearful expression. Cell laughs and, without withdrawing his hand, blasts the hill that Vegeta is currently stuck against. It explodes from the inside.

Vegeta just stares off, as if in shock. Cell flies higher into the air. Vegeta snaps out of his little trance and follows Cell up. Trunks, "Father has already excelled the level of Super Saiya-jin." Several different shots are shown of the area before Vegeta and Cell finally land facing each other on adjacent cliffs. Vegeta, "It looks like at least you can fight with me, but you're still no match for me. After all, you've absorbed the rubbish Artificial Humans to increase your power, and that's the kind of power you can get." Cell smiles. "Maybe." Vegeta, "You're still laughing." And in response, Cell laughs. Vegeta starts to get angry.

Trunks, "Once I got the power like Father's... But one day, I suddenly went beyond that. I remembered that. Goku-san told me that. I won't tell Father, because he's a proud man." Kuririn, "Trunks..." Trunks, "Father should have killed Cell just now." Cell and Vegeta are still just staring at each other across a crevasse.

At God's Shrine, of course, everyone continues to follow the action (except Bulma, because she well, can't). Tenshinhan, "Good for Vegeta. He's still strong enough to match Cell's whole body. You think he can match Cell?" Piccolo,"Hmph." Ten looks over at him. "Vegeta is actually very anxious to find that in front of him, there's someone equal to him or even stronger. That's why he has to judge calmly." Tenshinhan looks back down at the Earth. Bulma, "Why don't you guys take a look at me? Tell me my state now. It's driving me crazy."

The ground glows golden. Son Gohan's grunts and screams can be heard in the background. A fight is taking place. "Good, Gohan!" The Super Saiya-jin father and son spar near the living area in the Room of Spirit and Time. Gohan hovers in the air with a golden aura while he fights. Goku, on the other hand, can fight simply standing, and he has no aura, although he is also in Super Saiya-jin. Goku, "That's right. You can control most of your ki." Gohan continues to throw punches and kicks at his father, who seems to have trouble with a few of them, but for the most part, easily blocks most of Gohan's attacks. "You're so calm. If this goes on, you'll soon be better than I am." Gohan continues fighting, screaming with each punch he throws.

Vegeta and Cell stare at each other. Vegeta looks off to the side for a moment. He looks back at Cell, hovers into the air, and lands on a new ledge. Cell turns to face Vegeta's new position. Cell vanishes. Vegeta is surprised, but certainly not frigthened by any means. He turns to Cell, who is now standing on the same ledge as Vegeta. "Don't look down on me." A rock falls from near Cell's foot. Vegeta's aura flares up. He screams and renews his assault. Cell vanishes, dodging Vegeta's punch. Cell jumps from ledge to ledge, and Vegeta follows. He begins to throw ki blasts at Cell, but none hit. Cell turns and flies up, and Vegeta's ki blasts follow him. "I won't let you run." Cell finally stops and turns to see the barrage of ki blasts coming at him from within a cloud of dust thrown up by their battle while it was still going on down on the ground. Cell looks up and another wave of ki blasts comes down from above. They hit, and the explosion/dust cloud created around Cell by them begins to expand. Vegeta smiles and watches.

Suddenly, a low roar comes from the cloud and it quickly separates and dissipates. Vegeta gasps. Cell laughs. "You're really good, Vegeta. That attack was very powerful." Vegeta turns and sees Cell standing right behind him. Vegeta turns around and makes that pissed off exhaling gasp/growl sound (why can I never remember words for these sounds they make when I need to?!). "Shut up..." He screams and powers up. He screams something (subbed as "Go to hell," but I'm damn near positive that's not correct) and begins throwing more ki blasts. Once again, the cloud of smoke expands around Cell. Vegeta screams and keeps up his assault. Trunks, "Father..." Kuririn, "Vegeta has lost his calmness." Number 16, stating the obvious for all of the slower viewers. "Cell has absorbed the power of Number 17 and Number 18. His strength is beyond my expectations."

Vegeta breathes heavily and watches the smoke cloud around Cell. He sees that Cell is fine before the cloud even fully clears. His aura flares up again. "Damn it!!" He flies straight up to Cell, who is completely unharmed. Cell smiles at him. Vegeta tries the physical attack method again, but Cell easily dodges everything. Vegeta throws a powerful kick, but Cell catches it with ease. Vegeta flips back and stares at Cell. His aura strengthens and expands slightly. "Damn you!" His aura turns the entire area inside the cloud gold, and the light from his aura penetrates the cloud and expands outward.

With the smoke cloud gone, Vegeta begins looking around for the now-vanished Cell. From far away on the ground below, Cell stares up at Vegeta with his arms crossed and a smile on his face. Number 16, "How could Dr. Gero create such a terrible monster?" Vegeta finally turns around and sees Cell behind him on the ground. He flies straight in and begins his attack again. He is obviously getting thorougly pissed. He screams as he attacks, but Cell easily blocks everything. He catches Vegeta's arms and holds them. The two stare at each other. "Don't look down on me!" Vegeta throws his feet up to kick Cell, but Cell lets Vegeta go and flies into the air before the kick ever arrives. Vegeta flips back and rockets back to Cell with a yell. They go at it again with the same results. Cell flips over Vegeta's head and lands several meters away behind him. With as strong as Cell is, one almost has to wonder why he's been completely defensive thus far.

Vegeta turns around and growls. Trunks, "Father..." Number 16, "There's such a big gap between the power." Cell smiles at Vegeta. Vegeta, "Damn it!" He begins to power up even further, but only has about a second worth of powering up to reach his max. Rocks and debris rise into the air, of course, but as soon as they get about two inches into the air, they explode, and he's done. "You haven't done your best." Cell puts his hands on his hips. "That's why I said it's a warm-up." Number 16, "What?" Trunks, "It's just a warm-up?!" Kuririn nods and swallows hard. Vegeta, "Come on, let's do the real fighting! Attacked by me so heavily, Cell, you should be angry." Well, maybe Vegeta has a little higher to go before the ceiling. Rocks begin to rise into the air again, but only a few, and they only get up to about Vegeta's shoulder level before exploding. "Even though you've become a whole body, you haven't changed a bit. It's the same for you when you're beaten by me. If you're angry, show me the power of your whole body." Cell, "Alright, just a little."

Cell leaps forward, and Vegeta prepares to meet him. However, Cell continues right past Vegeta and stops behind him. Vegeta glares back at him. "Don't look down on Super Vegeta!" He kicks Cell in the side of the head." Kuririn, "He's won!" Trunks becomes momentarily happy, too. It all fades away immediately, though, when Vegeta realizes that Cell wasn't hurt. "What?!" Cell laughs. Vegeta flips away and lands facing him. He stares at Cell in frightened astonishment. Cell smiles at him and begins to laugh. He covers his mouth with his fist. "You're Super Vegeta?" Vegeta stares at him, eyes wide and mouth gaping, of course. Kuririn, "He should have won! Vegeta struck Cell's weak point with his leg, but he wasn't hurt at all! He's such a devil. Trunks, aren't you going to use your potential to give Vegeta a hand?" Trunks, "Father... Father thinks it's an insult if Goku-san or I help him. He'd rather be beaten by Cell." Kuririn, "But..." Cell casually walks toward Vegeta. Piccolo watches from God's Shrine. "Defeated. Vegeta will be defeated." Meanwhile, in the Room of Spirit and Time, Son Goku and Son Gohan continue to train.
