Break Through the Limits of Super Saiya-jin!! Trunks Summons a Storm

From the looks of the sky and the ocean, it seems to be a normal, calm day. Take a look at the island, however, and one would think a nuclear detonation has recently occurred. Boulders are scattered about, uprooted trees lie on the ground... maybe "nuclear detonation" was an exaggeration, but the scene is not pleasant.

Vegeta stares at Cell, amazed. Number 16 glares at Cell. The look on his face conveys a desire to help Vegeta, but knowledge that he can't. "Vegeta's attack struck Cell's achilles heel, but Cell wasn't hurt at all." He looks at Vegeta. "Is there such a big difference between them?" Cell, "Well? Where was that gut of yours?" Vegeta just stares at him, dumbfounded and probably scared. Cell smiles. Vegeta can do nothing but gasp and stare, and recall his futile attack on Cell's weak spot. "My..." Cell smiles. "My full force leg..." He replays the scene again. "Why?" Cell, "What's the matter? Smile, Vegeta." Vegeta simply gapes at him.

Cell flies in feet first and kicks Vegeta into a rock wall. Vegeta sails through the wall, then another, and another, and several more, before finally catching himself in midair. He begins to raise his ki, and the ocean below him reflects this by spreading away, forming a concave shape (an inverted dome, of sorts) below him. He stops suddenly, though, and drops out of the sky into the water. Number 16 watches with surprise. The water settles so that its only motion is once again the regular tide, and still, Vegeta has no resurfaced. Kuririn watches in astonishment, and Trunks makes that "k..." (the sound, not the letter 'kay') sound. His aura flows around him. Finally, Vegeta's arm pierces the surface of the water.

He pulls himself out of the sea and gasps for air. He collapses on the ground, panting. Cell, "You said the difference between us would be huge. It's no fun. Now I'm giving you back this line." Vegeta ignores him (well, knowing Vegeta, he probably doesn't ignore the comment, but he doesn't react). Kuririn does the "k..." sound now. Trunks continues to get more and more angry. His muscles fluctuate, as if he's about to power up out of rage alone, but he's trying to suppress it. Kuririn, "What...what are you doing, Trunks? If you don't go and save Vegeta now, he'll die." Trunks grunts, trying to keep his ki under wraps. "If he dies, all that pride will go, as well." Trunks, "Only when Father faints and collapses in the fight will I go to help him. If he faints, he can't see that I've excelled him." Kuririn, "Why are you still saying that at this time?" Trunks, "Kuririn-san!" Kuririn recoils slightly. "For Father, pride is very important. Without pride, Father is not himself anymore. Not to mention that I've excelled him, Father is such a lonely person. Yet, Mother was attracted to him. It must be because of his pride. Besides, I'm also..." Kuririn, "Trunks... Just pray that he won't be killed before he faints." Trunks does the "k..." thing again.

Vegeta is finally all the way out of the water, on his hands and knees, still breathing heavily. "Vegeta, what a shame. It looks like the warm-up is almost over." Vegeta, "Damn it..." Cell, "Before I say good bye, I must thank you. Thank you for your stupidity for helping me to reach my whole body." Vegeta stands up and glares at him. He almost falls as soon as he gets up, but he maintains his balance. As one can imagine, he's getting EXTREMELY angry by this point.

Number 16 raises his hand, preparing to launch a surprise attack on Cell from behind. He glares at Cell. He slowly steps forward. Cell, "You should know the result. Don't waste your effort, Number 16." Number 16 gasps. "You're just a piece of rubbish now."

Vegeta breathes heavily and slowly lifts into the air. He stops several meters up and stares down at Cell. He stretches his arms and legs out with a grunt. He begins to scream. His aura flares up around him and his ki begins to rise. Below him, the ground gives way and the ocean moves back so that there's a half circle directly underneath him. He screams constantly, his ki continuing to rise. Trunks, "Father...!" Kuririn, "What does he want?" Debris rises into the air. Number 16 gasps and stares up at Vegeta. Cell watches Vegeta, unimpressed and unintimidated. A shadow descens on the entire area. Clouds move by rapidly overhead. Vegeta's ki rises higher and higher. He sticks his arms straight out in front of him, wrist to wrist, somewhat like a Kamehameha, except for Kamehameha, the hands are typically vertical, while Vegeta's are horizontal. He never stops screaming the entire time. A ki blast flickers in his palms. Lighting strikes out from Vegeta at the area. Dust and debris fly by Cell. Still, he is perfectly calm. Vegeta's blast forms as a golden ball in his palms. And still, his ki continues to rise. Cell smiles. Number 16 leans back to shield himself. Trunks and Kuririn watch in surprise. Vegeta's ki blast continues to flicker in his hands. His arms themselves seem to be glowing gold each time a ki blast appears in his palms. Kuririn holds his arms up to shield his face from debris. Trunks, "Father...!" Vegeta, "Cell! Even though you've become a whole body, are you brave enough to resist the attack face to face?" We see Vegeta head on again, and the blast is now appearing more frequently and staying for longer periods of time, but still continues to flicker. Large rock formations break apart and crumble. Cell still smiles up at Vegeta. Vegeta, "Impossible. You're just a piece of yellow good-for-nothing." And still, Cell smiles. Trunks, "He's trying to incite Cell to make him unaware of the attack!" Kuririn, "No kidding! He really wants to use that attack on the Earth." Rocks and dust continue to rise into the air. Cell uncrosses his arms and holds them out in front of him, as if to catch the blast. He clenches his fists. Trunks, "Please don't! The Earth will be destroyed!!" Kuririn, "Run now, Trunks!" Vegeta, "FINAL FLASH!" A massive golden ki blast bursts forth, breaking straight through anything in its way, on a direct path to Cell. Cell stares up at it, suddenly a bit uneasy. Not to the point of being scared, but certainly not as calm and sure of himself as he was moments before. His unease quickly does turn to fear, though. "Oh no!" Number 16 gasps. The blast goes straight at Cell and then is seen continuing straight on into space. It explodes as brightly as a star would shine after traveling quite a distance through outer space.

Son Gohan floats over water in darkness. He suddenly throws a gold ki blast. The area is lighted a bit by it, and then a lot when it explodes. He stands completely upright. His hair blows around in the wind created by the force of the explosion. Goku, "I'm very hungry!" The view changes to the food storage area. "This, and this, all of these..." Goku digs through the refrigerator. "All of these are Gohan's favorites." He turns around with his arms completely full of food and shuts the refrigerator door with his foot. Super Saiya-jin Gohan flies across the room, then starts throwing punches at the air. "Gohan!" He suddenly stops and turns to the sound of his name being called. "Hmm?" His aura fades away and his hair goes from gold to the more white/bleached-color. "It's dinner time!" Gohan, "Okay!"

Gohan runs up to the living area as Goku walks out to greet him. "If you don't eat enough, without good health, Chichi will be mad at me." Gohan, "Yes." Goku, "Alright, Gohan. Cook this meat for me." He throws the meat to Gohan. Gohan blasts it, and it lands in Goku's hands, brown and steaming, as if it had just come out of the oven. "Thank you!" He looks down at it. "Hmm?" It suddenly bursts into flames. The ashes crumble away. "Gohan, you must learn how to control your energy faster." Gohan looks down at the ground. "Okay." And then a scream rings out in the Room. (maybe it's just because my sub isn't great quality, but eh, this whole scene after the burning meat seems bizarre to me)

Vegeta's Final Flash glows brightly and slowly fades away. The rocks and debris return to the ground, the dust begins to settle, the ocean fills in the new gaps Vegeta's created... Trunks and Kuririn watch from the sky. Kuririn, "We're saved." Trunks, "Father has calculated how to shrink the area." Vegeta now stands on the ground in the middle of the settling dust. His arms are still out in front of him, and he's breathing heavily. "He's reacting."

The dust around Cell begins to clear. He has a look of extreme pain on his face, his teeth are clenched, and he's simply grunting and growling. Only his neck on up can be seen. Vegeta pants and stares at him. The dust finally clears away, and the true damage is seen. Cell's entire right side is...well, gone. His right leg still remains, but about half of his midsection, including the shoulder and arm, are gone. Vegeta smiles. "Go to hell." (or at least that's how it's subbed, but once again, I don't think that's accurate). Cell's eyes move down to his missing section. "Da...damn it...!" Vegeta laughs at him. Kuririn watches from the air, a look of happiness and relief on his face. "Got it! He got it!" Trunks looks down, relieved. Just so people don't start complaining about possible FUNi censorship of this part (it's not yet been shown at the time I'm writing this), there is NO blood. The missing section is silver/gray, not full of entrails and blood. "How could this be? I've become a whole body!" Vegeta laughs. Cell holds what little is left of his right shoulder and shuts his eyes. "DAMN IT!" Vegeta laughs harder at that. Cell opens his eyes again. "What's the matter?" Vegeta suddenly stops and looks at him. "You're laughing. Have you forgotten that I have Piccolo's blood in me?" Vegeta's smile suddenly disappears. He glares at Cell. Cell smiles at him. The edge of the damaged area bulges. Vegeta gasps. Suddenly, everything returns. Vegeta stares, wide-eyed and gaping at the regenerated Cell.

"Are you disappointed?" Kuririn and Trunks stare in amazement. Kuririn, "No..." Cell tests out his new arm. Vegeta makes the "k..." sound. "Alright, I'm going to kill you very soon." Vegeta gasps and prepares to fight again. He throws a ki blast at Cell, but it has no effect. Cell takes a step forward. "Damn it!" He throws as many ki blasts as he can as quickly as possible. The explosions quickly build on themselves and expand out. Kuririn screams. Vegeta continues his barrage, but Cell walks right through it and emerges in front of him. Vegeta cringes. Cell punches him and he flies back, sliding across the ground. He stands and wipes any blood off his face that might be there. Cell knees him, sending Vegeta sailing into the sky. Cell appears right in Vegeta's path. Kuririn gasps when he sees what's about to happen. Trunks watches in horror. Vegeta runs into Cell, and Cell smashes right into Vegeta's back. Vegeta screams. He slams into the Earth, unconscious. His hair turns black. Kuririn, "Hey, he's not a Super Saiya-jin anymore! He's lost his meaning. Maybe he's dead..." Cell laughs. "A tough guy. I'm gonna make you die comfortably now, Vegeta."

"TRUNKS! It's the right time now! Turn into a powerful Super Saiya-jin!" Trunks begins to glow golden, but the gold color flashes on and off, it's not constant. Kuririn stares at him, apparently quite surprised by his power. Cell lands. "Trunks?" Trunks throws his head back and his ki explodes. His power rises. His hair flies back. He screams through the whole thing. Kuririn trembles and edges away. "Trunks! Hey, any problem? Trunks!" He flies back. Trunks' pupils have disappeared.

Cell extends his arm, palm open, right above Vegeta. "That's it, Vegeta." He suddenly turns and looks up at Trunks, whose ki continues to rise. Cell's eyes go wide and he gasps.
