Save Your Father!! Trunks' Anger Scorches the Heavens

Clouds swirl about above the island. Trunks continues to transform in the sky. His hair blows around in the wind created by his own power, and he screams as his ki rises higher. Short electrical currents spark up around him, but die quickly. Kuririn trembles as he watches. Cell turns and looks up at him. "Hmm? What's he doing?" Trunks finally stops screaming. He brings his head forward again (it had been thrown back while he was screaming). Cell's eyes bulge. "Trunks!" Trunks stares down at him. Kuririn stares at him, frightened of Trunks' power. A spark bursts out of Trunks' wrist and Kuririn practically jumps out of his skin. "Trunks hasn't used all of his power, and it's already this horrible! Why would Saiya-jin become this?" Trunks offers no answer, so Kuririn goes on. "Whenever they meet a strong enemy, their ki will go up endlessly." He pictures Oozaru as he speaks, then Vegeta, and then Freezer vs. Son Goku. "Is Saiya-jin, the fighting race, really without limit?" Super Saiya-jin Trunks attacks with his sword. Super Saiya-jin Vegeta, on the other hand, simply smiles. "They're really amazing."

Trunks looks over at Kuririn, and Kuririn screams. "Kuririn-san." Kuririn seems relieved to hear that, as if he had thought Trunks was no longer sane and would go after him, too. "Can you help me take Father to Muten Roshi-sama's home?" Kuririn, "Great. You can talk sensibly. I was afraid that you would lose your sense, like Goku when he turned into an Oozaru." Trunks, "No problem. This senzu..." He throws it to Kuririn. "If possible, let Father eat it." Kuririn, "But is it alright? You still have senzu left?" Trunks, "I don't need senzu. I'll win for sure." He descends. Kuririn watches him. "The way he put it, he's really very confident."

Cell watches Trunks land. When Trunks reaches the ground, his landing alone is enough to throw up dust and dirt (although not a lot). His aura goes away. Cell stares at him, Trunks stares back. Number 16, no longer even on his feet, watches from behind Trunks. "Unbelievable. He has such a strong potential." Cell turns away from Vegeta, and Trunks walks toward Cell. "Cell, I must kill you." Trunks smiles and turns all the way to meet Trunks. They both walk toward each other, so that they'll meet each other halfway. "You're too proud, Trunks." Trunks doesn't respond. They stop right in front of each other.

Trunks glares up at Cell, Cell stares down at him. Number 16 watches from his same spot in silence. Kuririn looks down at the two of them and gulps. They simply stand together in silence for a long time. Finally, Cell throws a kick. Trunks flips back, dodging it. Cell kicks again, but Trunks blocks it. They stay like that for a second, and then vanish in a flash of light. Kuririn, "Gone!" He looks around for them, but can't find them. He looks up. "He's up there!" The two super powers clash, and the shockwave thing that travels out in all directions away from them separates clouds.

Cell falls to the Earth, Trunks follows. Trunks catches up and smashes him down to the Earth. The hit alone causes another shockwave, and there wasn't even resistance. Cell crashes to the ground. Kuririn, "What?" Rocks and debris rain down around where Cell landed. Trunks lands beside the dust cloud. He stares into the cloud, waiting for Cell to resurface. Kuririn, "Has he defeated Cell already?" The dust slowly begins to settle. Trunks silently watches the cloud. Number 16 gasps. Kuririn, "What kind of practice did he take in the Room of Spirit and Time?"

Son Goku turns Super Saiya-jin. "Gohan, no matter how, come grab me." He flies away. Gohan, "Alright." He turns Super Saiya-jin, too. He flies off to find his father. He stops, lands, and looks around. He suddenly throws a ki blast. "HA!" The blast narrowly misses Goku. "You're fast, but not fast enough." Goku vanishes again. Gohan disappears a second later, continuing his search. Ki blasts fly about in the Room of Spirit and Time. Once again, Goku barely dodges one. "No, no way." A blast flies down from above him, he turns and looks up at it. He flies to the ground, and the blast follows. He jumps out of the way. Blasts rain down on him from above, and he has to keep jumping away to avoid getting hit. They fly down on all sides. He backs into a wall, looks forward, sees a ki blast coming right at him. He jumps to the side, and the blast hits a column on the edge of the living area. Goku rolls away, then jumps to his feet. Three or four more ki blasts come at him. He sticks out his arm to stop them. The dust clears from around him and he looks around. "Father!" Gohan lands on his shoulders. "Got you." Goku phases out of Super Saiya-jin. "Good for you, Gohan." Gohan returns to normal. "Thanks." A clock falls to the ground. Gohan look over to see the damage he did. Goku laughs. "But you've gone a bit too far." Gohan, "I was a bit carried away." Goku, "If we don't repair the room, Popo will be angry." Gohan laughs and agrees.

Trunks still hasn't moved. Kuririn watches the dust cloud from the sky. "Good. Excellent, Trunks has become so powerful. Beat that monster. Beat Cell." He laughs. Trunks, "Kuririn-san, watch out!" Suddenly, an explosion from where Cell landed. Kuririn, "What?" The explosion throws him back, screaming the whole way. He finally catches himself and dodges the debris that got thrown up around him. He gasps. Rocks and debris fall from the sky. Cell finally begins to rise out of the crater. Kuririn stares down in shock. Cell finally stops rising after getting a meter or two off the ground. "You're really fascinating, Trunks." Kuririn, "Damn it. That moron is still so fine." Trunks is silent. Cell smiles at him. Trunks' eyes narrow and he leaps forward, fist outstretched. Cell follows suit, and they meet in the middle, but their fists don't even reach their targets before they vanish. They reappear right beside Kuririn, and he of course gasps and screams.

Trunks and Cell go into one of the frenzies of punches and kicks, blocks and dodges. It finally ends when Trunks catches both of Cell's fists. He screams and carries Cell straight into the ground. Once again, dust and debris rise into the air. Kuririn, "Great!" Number 16 watches with wide eyes...err, eye. "Unbelievably powerful." And Vegeta, of course, is still unconscious. "Something" (Cell, of course) runs underground, tearing up the surface of the Earth as he goes. He breaks through the ground and continues through the water. After he's quite a distance away, an explosion sends millions of gallons of water into the sky. Trunks and Cell quickly return to the island, fighting the whole way back. Trunks kicks Cell down, then screams and follows. He throws a punch, but Cell vanishes. Trunks lands on one knee, shaking the Earth when he gets there. He looks up to see Cell coming straight at him, and barely manages to jump away from Cell's fist. Cell punches the ground, instead. Trunks lands several yards away, near Vegeta. The force of Cell's punch creates a fissure, and the ground under Vegeta gives way just a bit. Trunks looks at Vegeta, then back at Cell.

Cell withdraws his fist from the Earth and stands up. "Amazing. How did he stay away from it so easily?" Trunks is silent, and Cell leaps into the air, flying straight at him. Trunks vanishes, and Cell suddenly stops. He looks back. Trunks comes straight in from behind, but Cell manages to dodge the punch. Cell reaches up and punches Trunks right in the gut. Trunks cries out in pain. Cell punches him back, and Trunks lands with a thud on his back. Kuririn begins to get nervous.

Trunks sits up in time to meet Cell's foot. He flies further back, sliding through the dirt. Kuririn, "Trunks!" Cell walks up to Trunks, and Trunks looks back at him. Cell kicks, but Trunks dodges. Trunks handsprings back away from Cell. Cell flies up and kicks him anyway. Trunks flies further back, bouncing over the ground. Kuririn, "It's too late..." Trunks sits up and looks back at Kuririn. He points down at Vegeta, who Kuririn had apparently completely forgotten. "So he did it to let me take away Vegeta..." He nods down at Trunks.

Cell flies forward and Trunks jumps up to crouch. Cell arrives and Trunks throws his feet up to kick him, but Cell stops. Trunks flips back, and Cell takes a step back, then jumps up to hit Trunks further back. Trunks quickly regains himself, and then they go back into another hit/kick/block frenzy.

Kuririn lands beside Vegeta and looks down at him. "Just because of his pride and allowing Cell to become a whole body, this is the result of it?" He crouches down to pick up Vegeta. "Trunks is now fighting with Cell with his super power." He lifts Vegeta's head. "He's much better than you." Trunks blocks Cell's assault. They stop and Trunks jumps back, then leaps forward to begin an attack of his own. Kuririn stands up with Vegeta slung over his shoulder. "You're unable to watch that wonderful fight, just because of your foolish pride." Cell elbows Trunks. Trunks screams and flies back. "If you ask me, I'd say you shouldn't stay alive, but I'm sure Trunks would disagree." Trunks sits up. He stares all the way across the island, and Kuririn gives him a thumbs up. Trunks nods in response. "Damn it. What's the use of such a father?" Kuririn lifts off and flies away.

Cell walks up to Trunks, who climbs to his feet. Trunks glares at Cell. His expression is full of rage. The waves crash on the shore behind Trunks. Kuririn speeds away from the island with Vegeta over his shoulder. Cell and Trunks glare at each other in silence. Cell is the one to finally break the silence. "Now you can fight with no worries on your mind." Trunks gasps. "Besides, you've taken Vegeta away already." Trunks, "You know that?" Cell, "Of course. I also know that you tried to make me stay far away from Vegeta." Trunks, "That's really unexpected. Why didn't you stop me?" Cell, "Of course, I've lost interest in Vegeta." He smiles. "It's your power that interests me." They stare at each other silently again. Waves crash all around them.

Trunks hunches over a bit. "You even know about this?" His aura returns. Cell, "I'm so thrilled. Now I have a chance to know how powerful my whole body is." Trunks screams. Rocks and dust rise into the air around him. Piccolo, "Terribly powerful! He's excelled Super Vegeta by far. Is that what Goku called a power which exceeds Super Saiya-jin?" The winds that begin to pick up because of Trunks' power up do nothing to calm the ocean. Number 16 leans back against a wall and watches. Trunks growls. As his ki rises higher and higher, he throws his head back and that growl turns to a scream. His power continues to rise as waves crash behind him.
