The Super Power of Goku and Gohan... Increase Your Power to the Max

A huge mass of aircars moves about above the city, each on their way out to hide somewhere. If one is not in an aircar, then he is stuck in a monster traffic jam in the streets below. The objective remains the same for everyone, though: Get out of the city. Driver, "What's the matter? Start the engine!" He leans out the window. Another driver a car or two behind him and in the next lane over says, "The monster will be here soon!" The first driver backs up a bit and turns into a side alley. Seems someone else had the same idea, though. Driver 2, "Damn it!" They slam into each other, but the collision is not actually shown. A man scrambles out of the alley and runs away. A huge explosion follows. A man atop a ladder hits a bell with a hammer to alert the people, and a horde of frightened citizens rushes forward, screaming. Above them, dinosaurs rush to escape.

Chaouzu, Oolong, and Puar watch everything from a window at Kame House. Oolong, "I also want to run away." Chaouzu, "It will be the same, no matter where you go." Puar, "Right. Cell said that if he defeated all of the contestants, he'd kill every person in the world." Oolong, "Yes, so what about escaping into outer space with Bulma's spaceship?" Puar looks back at him. "Oolong." Oolong, "Cell may not follow us to outer space." Puar, "I can't believe this betrayer of Yamucha-sama and Kuririn-san at all."

Inside, Kamesennin, Kuririn, Chichi, and Yamucha watch all the chaos on television. Kuririn, "It's all my fault. If only..." He replays smashing the controller. "...I had destroyed Number 18..." He pictures her smiling at him, then he sees Perfect Cell. "I will fight with Cell!" Yamucha gasps and looks back at him. "It was my fault!" He runs for the door. Yamucha, "Kuririn!" Roshi, "Don't go!" Kuririn stops just as he's about to turn the knob. Muten Roshi, "You're not good enough to beat him. I'm your master. I won't let you sacrifice for nothing." Kuririn struggles with this, not sure whether to continue or not. "If you insist, you should go after Cell's Game has begun." A hand lands on Kuririn's shoulder. Yamucha, "Don't blame yourself, Kuririn." Muten Roshi, "Let's have high hope in Goku and Gohan..." Chichi looks over at him. "...the Saiya-jin with limitless potential. In the Room of Spirit and Time, how much has their strength increased?"

Trunks and Vegeta have met up with Piccolo and Tenshinhan at God's Shrine again. Trunks, "Goku-san and Gohan-san, when will they come out?" Popo, "It's only one whole day three hours from now." Vegeta, "Hmph. They might not come out even after one whole day." Trunks and Popo look over at him. "I'm sure they will stay much longer than that." Piccolo, "Be patient. We still have eight days before the battle. You're also in the Room for less than one day. You can take a rest. Let me go in first." Vegeta, "You're only wasting your time. From now on, it will be the world of Saiya-jin." Piccolo glances at the door. Vegeta continues. "Alright, it's up to you, but in the eight days following days, I'll be the one who uses the room." Piccolo, "What a shame. One can only stay in the Room for two days, that's 48 hours, in his entire life." Vegeta turns around. "What? What if it's over 48 hours?" Popo, "The exit of the door will disappear. You can't come out again." Trunks, "But we can still use it for 23 hours." Vegeta crosses his arms again. Suddenly, everyone spins around and looks over at the door to the Room of Spirit and Time.

Ten, "It's Goku's and Gohan's ki. They're coming out soon." Vegeta, "What? So fast?" Everyone is silent. All eyes are on the doorway leading to the path that leads to the Room of Spirit and Time. Footsteps are heard, but they can't see the source yet. A set of legs appears in the doorway, the pants completely torn away to a few inches above the knee on one leg. The 'camera' moves up, revealing Super Saiya-jin Son Gohan. His armor is cracked in places, and part of the left sleeve is gone. Son Goku, also Super Saiya-jin, walks up behind him. His clothes are shredded as well, the left breast on his armor mostly gone, and holes in his clothing. Goku, "What? Vegeta and Trunks have really come, and I can still feel Cell's ki. He's still alive? What is it all about?" Piccolo gasps when he sees Gohan as a Super Saiya-jin. "He's Gohan? He's totally different." They walk out to everyone else together. Goku, "Tell me what has happened." Ten's eyes widen for a moment, then he gathers himself again. "In fact..." Goku, "Before that, Mr. Popo, can you prepare some food for us? I'm starving!" People seem surprised for a moment, then Ten begins to laugh. "Goku hasn't changed a bit."

Goku and Gohan enjoy a massive feast, courtesy of Popo. Trunks stares at them from across the table in shock. Goku, "Delicious!" Gohan, "It's really good!" The dirty dishes begin to pile up. Trunks is wide-eyed and gaping, Tenshinhan is a bit surprised despite the fact that he knew what to expect, and Popo is pretty much with Trunks in the surprise category, even though he should know better than anyone present how much Goku can eat. On the other hand, Piccolo is...himself. Tenshinhan, "Goku, let me ask you." Goku lowers a dish from his face to hear Tenshinhan's question. Food still hangs out of his mouth. "Haven't you eaten?" With stuffed mouths, Goku and Gohan look at each other. Goku answers, but his words don't come out clearly since they have to get around about six pounds of food. "Of course, but what we cooked wasn't as delicious. We haven't had anything so tasty in a long time." Piccolo, "Hey, finish your food before speaking." Goku and Gohan look at each other again, and then Goku swallows all of the noodles hanging out of his mouth. Piccolo, "Chew before you swallow." Goku wipes his mouth with the back of his hand and repeats, "Of course we have eaten, but what we cooked wasn't as delicious. We haven't had anything so tasty in a long time." Ten, "I see."

Vegeta stands away from the group, even further than Piccolo, staring back over his shoulder at everyone. "How come they're like this? Why are they Super Saiya-jin?" He looks at each of them. "It feels a bit strange. They have naturally kept that state." Gohan sets down an empty bowl. "I'm full." Goku rubs his stomach and agrees with Gohan. Trunks stares down at the dishes, apparently baffled at how someone could eat so much. Goku leans back on his hands. "Sorry I've kept you waiting, Trunks. Tell me." Trunks, "Ah, yes..."

A train full of people passes by. A woman tries to sleep through her trip, but of course, her child is more energetic. The child stares out the window, waving and yelling, "Hey!" Woman, "You're waving. What do you see?" The woman stares out the window, but for a while, sees nothing. She gasps. Cell flies alongside the train, watching it out of the corner of his eye with a smile on his face. A fat woman on the train throws her hands up to her face and screams. Man, "That guy...!" Everyone screams and tries to get to the other side of the train. The train comes to a crossroad, stopping an amazing amount of traffic if one considers the fact that they're out in the middle of no where. A man leans out the top of his convertible, shaking a fist. "Hurry up! Start it, come on!" Others express their agreement. The train passes, and the man suddenly stops yelling. On the other side of the tracks, staring right at him, is Cell. The man gasps. Cell, "Aren't you driving this way?" Frightened murmuring flows throughout the crowd. No one moves. Cell, "Then I'll go." He steps forward. The man screams and runs away, and the others begin to follow his lead. Cell stops in front of his black convertible, watches the people, then looks down at the now-empty car. He lifts the car above his head. "You've forgotten this." With one arm, he heaves the car at the horde of people running away. It falls below a hill, and so we don't see the car hit, but of course, we see the resulting explosion and hear the screams of the people.

Dr. Briefs stands over Number 16, and further away, Bulma works on a computer. She scrolls through lines of programming information, mostly long strings of math problems. Among the math problems are numerous printings of the words "Son Goku." Bulma, "How come? All of Son-kun's information is in Number 16's memory." Dr. Briefs walks up behind her. "What?" In a blank area to the right of the programming information, images pop up of Son Goku, Kame House, etc. Bulma, "I see. Dr. Gero must have made Number 16 to kill Son Goku." She looks back at the Artificial Human, who lies "asleep" on the table with wires running out of his head. "But it doesn't seem that way at all. Only now, some part of him is about beating Son-kun." Dr. Briefs, "No." He recalls the cat on Number 16's shoulders. "His circuit is far too complicated, so I'm not sure yet. I don't think he's a bad guy." She looks back at Number 16. Dr. Briefs, "There's a kind of closeness about him that I know for sure." He walks back to the table. Bulma, "Right. Maybe it's because we've changed history." She joins him at the table. "I think that it's very lucky for us he wants to fight with Cell. That's really unbelievable."

Goku, "I see. Martial arts competition, an interesting idea." Trunks, "Interesting?" Goku, "Mr. Popo, have you thrown away my robe?" Popo, "No."
Goku's tattered Saiya-jin armor lies on the ground and he puts on his usual clothing. Popo, "I've washed it for you, too." Goku, "Thank you, Mr. Popo." He reaches down to grab his shirt. Trunks, "You don't have to wear this. If I tell my mother, she'll make new clothes for you." He pulls his shirt over his head. "No, this will do. I want to fight for the people in this world." Trunks nods. Gohan walks up to Piccolo. "Piccolo-san, I want new clothes, too. Your clothes." Piccolo, "Alright, I'll give you nice clothes." He holds his hand out over Gohan's head. Goku finishes up with the weighted wrist bands. Piccolo screams, and Gohan glows blue for a moment. The dust settles, revealing Gohan in clothes that are just like Piccolo's, minus the turban. He looks down at himself with a smile. "Thank you, Piccolo-san!" Piccolo smiles at him. Goku steps forward, and Gohan, after a few more moments of marveling at his new clothes, looks up at him.

Vegeta walks up to them. "Well?." Goku turns around. "Do you have confidence to beat Cell?" Goku, "I don't know. I haven't seen Cell since he became a whole body. I'll go and take a look first." He raises his fingers to his forehead and concentrates. Cell stands all alone on the fighting platform where Cell's Game will occur. Goku vanishes and appears behind Cell. "Son Goku?" Goku, "Yes." Cell, "Well? This is the stage for Cell's Game, which will decide the fate of the world in eight days' time. You like it?" Goku, "Decide the fate... What a shabby stage." Cell looks back at him and smiles. He turns partially around, about 90 degrees. They stare at each other. The sky turns black over one of the Earth's cities. Lightning begins to strike. Lightning strikes around the stage, and rocks and debris rise into the air. A dome of golden light expands out from the center of the stage. Lightning circles around most of the stage, then vanishes, to begin striking randomly at the ground once again. The weather chaos suddenly turns into an image of a tank full of green liquid with occasional air bubbles. In the center is a small lump of cells. Goku, "He's finally become it. That's the whole body?" Cell doesn't answer. Images of each of Cell's forms flash up. The small lump of cells. The large insectoid creature. The Original form in the ruins of a city. Original Cell vs. Number 17. Imperfect Cell vs. Number 18. The transformation to Perfection. Lightning strikes around Cell as he silently stares at Son Goku. Finally, he smiles. "This is it." Lightning strikes between them again. The Earth is shown from space, and a large force field of sorts forms a bubble around the spot where the two stand. Lightning dances madly inside the bubble.

The ocean water surges forth quickly. Puar, Chaouzu, and Oolong all watch, frightened. Oolong, "What is it?!" Inside, Roshi, Yamucha, and Kuririn follow the 'events,' if it could really be called such. Yamucha, "A terrible ki. It's Cell's?" Kuririn, "But it's more than that. This ki can still go up." Suddenly, they all gasp and look up. In unison, they say "Goku!" The sound of her husband's name catches Chichi's attention. Kuririn, "It's Goku's ki! He's finally coming out from the Room of Spirit and Time!"

"I'll definitely join the competition. So before I take part, don't kill. Understand?" Cell stares at him silently, Goku stares back. "The contest must be very exciting." He vanishes. Trunks looks up as Goku reappears at God's Shrine. The sky around the stage returns to normal. Cell, "Son Goku, this contest must be better than one can expect." Trunks, "Well, Goku-san?" Goku, "Frankly-speaking, I never thought he could become so powerful. It's hard to predict how strong he is. I won't know unless I try. Maybe I can't beat him." Vegeta listens to Goku, but doesn't react to the final comment. On the other hand, Tenshinhan gasps in shock. Trunks, "No, it can't be!" Piccolo stares ahead silently, but sweating. Goku doesn't respond to Trunks' comment. Trunks, "Really?" Piccolo, "I can use that Room again, right? There's still time. We have just agreed on the order. I'll be first, then Vegeta will go in on his own." Vegeta, "In fact, if I go in, then no one else even needs to go in." Tenshinhan, "I'm sorry. Let me give up. I'll never beat him." Piccolo, "Trunks will be next. Then Goku and Gohan." Goku and Gohan look at each other. "Then it's you again." Goku looks back up. "No, Gohan and I don't need it again." Piccolo, "What?!" Goku, "I'll practice on the Earth. Nine days will be enough." Vegeta gasps. "What?" Trunks stares on, wide-eyed, but silent. Piccolo's arms uncross. Even Gohan is surprised by his father's decision. However, even as Goku simply stands there smiling, he is completely confident in himself.
