Wisely Snatching the Dragon Balls!? Mr. Satan Shows His Stuff

Trunks screams. His hair begins to blow upward and he turns Super Saiya-jin. He leaps into the air, throwing punches and kicks, speeding off in one direction and bolting back toward God's Shrine, bouncing off the floor of the Shrine. Kuririn, Gohan, and Dende sit on the stairs near the door. Kuririn leans back against a column. "Gohan, are you studying?" Gohan looks up from his work. "Mother asked me to study whenever I have time." Kuririn, "How I admire you." Dende, "In fact, I've also brought along my homework." He pulls out his homework. "I want to do my homework, too." Kuririn walks over to him. "Eh? You have homework on Nameksei, too?" Dende, "Of course. To become a member of the noble Dragon Race, one must study hard." Kuririn, "It's no fun." He starts looking back and forth from Gohan's homework to Dende's. "Huh? Huh? The way you suddenly worked on your homework made me look lazy." They all laugh together. Trunks lands nearby and phases out of Super Saiya-jin. He looks over at them. Kuririn, "I'll go to Kame House now." Nearby, Piccolo sits in the middle of the floor, meditating. Popo looks at him. "Cell's Game will start very soon. Can Goku collect the Dragon Balls in time?"

Kuririn wakes up on a table at Kame House. TV, "Our audience, the Tenkaichi Budokai champion, Mr. Satan, is going to perform now!" Cheers and applause go up throughout the arena. The announcer looks around, smiling and nodding. Four spot lights begin to revolve around each other. The crowd chants, "SA-TA-N! SA-TA-N!" Announcer, "Our hero, Satan, will soon enter the venue!" A drum roll as the four spot lights all converge on a single point. Mr. Satan lumbers out of the entryway, wearing the same black clothes and white cape that he had been when he made his declaration against Cell. He carries a rope, tugging something behind him. As he moves further and further out into the middle of the arena, the object comes into view. Mr. Satan is pulling a huge bus. The strain on his body is quite apparent when his face is shown; his eyes bulge and his teeth are clenched, and he grunts with every step. The view changes to show the arena from the very back, in the top row. Announcer, "Satan can drag four buses on his own!" And indeed, as Satan inches his way further and further out, we see that it is four buses that he is pulling. "He is extraordinarily strong!"

Yamucha rests his head on his elbow as he watches the event with disinterest. "It's that man again." Chichi watches quietly. Satan holds up his hand with his index finger up. "Mr. Satan has brought something! What does he plan to perform this time?" Satan holds something up. "Those are telephone books! There are three all together! What does Satan want to do with the phone books?" Satan stacks the books up on the ground. He grunts. "Isn't he trying to tear them apart?" Satan screams and rips them in half together. Shreds of paper fly through the air. He drops the books. The announcer screams. The crowd suddenly goes silent with awe. The announcer breaks the silence. "He did it!! Well done!" The crowd explodes with cheers and applause once again. Satan stands in the middle of the arena, loving every second of the attention he's receiving. A beautiful, scantily clad woman walks out to him. Announcer, "Excuse me, Mr. Satan! Are you confident about winning Cell's Game?" Satan, "Hmm?" He chuckles and takes the microphone. "I'm sure that fellow, Cell, is going to regret that he's going to end in the same way as this bus!" With that, Satan punches through the side of the bus. Announcer, "Good for you, Mr. Satan! Satan is our hope! He will definitely be able to get rid of Cell for us!" Cheers and chanting from the crowd. "SA-TA-N! SA-TA-N! SA-TA-N!" Satan tries to withdraw his hand from the bus, but it refuses to budge. "Hmm? I cannot take out my hand..." He laughs. The spot lights begin to dance around the floor of the arena again. "SA-TA-N! SA-TA-N!" Muten Roshi, "Look." Chichi, "There are a lot of powerful people in the world." Everyone turns from the television and looks at her, then back to the television.

"I've found the fourth one!" Son Goku flies out of a ravine, the Dragon Ball in hand.

Piccolo opens his eyes and glances back without turning his head. Dende and Gohan suddenly look up. "Hmm?" Vegeta steps into the open doorway. Trunks approaches him slowly. "Father, what are you doing?" Vegeta grins and looks over at Piccolo, who doesn't even turn around. Piccolo shuts his eyes once again. Vegeta's grin widens a bit.

Goku sits atop a mountain, just above the clouds. He looks down at the beeping Dragon Radar. "Hmm? What? Two Dragon Balls are moving together at the same time." We are shown the Dragon Radar, and the two Dragon Balls moving from the right side of the radar toward the top.

A few chickens stand in the road, going about their business. They suddenly "scream" and separate as Tao Pai Pai lands right in the middle of them. He runs and leaps into the air with a yell again, then lands right in front of a building. He smiles. His rope of braided hair jumps behind his shoulder. Building, "Who is it?" Tao Pai Pai, "It is me." Building, "Oh, it's Tao Pai Pai-sensei. I've been waiting for you." Tao Pai Pai walks into the building.

In one of the rooms sits a chair behind a desk with two bigger men on either side of it and out in front of the desk. The chair's back is to the door. Behind the chair is a bank of television screens that monitor the building. Tao Pai Pai's image shows up and disappears on random screens as he enters the building. He walks through the door to the office and the chair behind the desk spins around, revealing a short, fat man with a cigar in his mouth. "Sensei. Have you brought what you were supposed to bring?" Tao Pai Pai chuckles and walks forward. He sets two glowing Dragon Balls down on the man's desk. "Here you are." The man leans forward, gasping delightfully. Tao Pai Pai smiles. Man, "Are these the legendary Dragon Balls?" Tao Pai Pai, "I spent a lot of effort getting them. I'll let you have them for 100 million each." Man, "With the Dragon Balls, even if Cell destroys the Earth, I, Walker, the King of the Gangs, can still survive." Tao Pai Pai, "Right." Walker leans back in his chair. "Is it so... after Cell destroys the Earth, I can make my wish to the Dragon Balls to build the Kingdom of Gangs." He laughs. "There are important people in every age and era. I mean the people with money and power. When are you bringing the rest of the Dragon Balls?" Tao Pai Pai, "Relax. I'll go get them right away." Walker, "Really? Thank you very much, Sensei." Tao Pai Pai's robotic eyes scan Walker. "In fact, I found the two of them just by accident." His robot eyes extend and retract.

Son Goku flies over farmland, tracking the Dragon Balls with his Dragon Radar. He lands on a dirt road and examines the radar again. He looks up. "Hmm? It should be around here." In front of him is a building with towering double doors. Sirens and alarms go off inside the building. Walker sits up. "Huh?" He looks back and forth, then hits a button on his desk. Son Goku pops up on an inset monitor. "Who is he?" The image pops up on the bank of monitors behind him. Something goes off in Goku's pocket. "Hmm?" He reaches in and picks up the Dragon Ball. It flashes gold on and off. Tao Pai Pai sees it and gasps. "Dragon Balls!" Walker, "What?" He looks back at the monitor. Goku looks back up at the door. "They're really here." Tao Pai Pai, "That camel has come to us himself." Walker looks at him. "Hmm? Camel? Where?" Walker looks around. Tao Pai Pai, "I'll go and get it right away." Walker turns back to him. "Right." He looks back down and says to himself again, "Camel..."

The double doors slide open. Goku, "Hmm? What?" He walks in. "I'm coming in!" Surveilance cameras keep track of Goku's progress through the building. Walker, "He's come in. Let us teach him a good lesson." Walker hits a button, and suddenly the walls around Goku become lined with sharp arrows. "Hmm?" They all fire at him, piercing the walls on the other side. Walker watches the progress from his office. "Bingo!" He and his bodyguards or whatever they are cheer and celebrate. "Hurray! Hurray!" Goku stares at one of the arrows in his hand, which has been partially split so that the top half hangs at an odd angle from the bottom. "What? I've broken it. I'm so sorry." The cheering suddenly stops. Walker, "Uh?"

The building is shown from outside for a moment. This is the first good view of the building. It's basically three parts. On either side are two vertical rectangular parts that are the same size, and in the middle is a larger vertical rectangle, where the double doors are. Walker, "What's it all about?" Tao Pai Pai, "Do you have regular maintenance?" Walker, "What's the matter with it?!" Man on the right, "Sorry!" Walker, "Damn it!" He turns to the man on the left. "You didn't maintain it well, and it's a hiccup during an emergency!" Men in unison, "Excuse us!" Walker, "Let's lure him here and cheat him out of his Dragon Balls."

Goku continues walking forward, staring down at his Dragon Radar. "I'm close now." A door swings open as he walks past. Inside the room, Walker laughs. "Just at the right time now. Come to this room now." Goku doesn't return to the room, so Walker calls out. "Hey! This way!" Goku returns. "Hmm? What?" Walker waves at him. "Here, here." Goku, "Hmm?" He looks down and sees the Dragon Balls on the desk. "Dragon Balls!" He walks into the room. Walker, "It's good that you have come. You're really daring to come into this room." Tao Pai Pai jumps out in front of him. "If you don't want to get hurt, just leave the Dragon Balls here." Goku, "Hmm?" He smiles. "Are you Tao Pai Pai?" Tao Pai Pai, "What?" Goku, "It's me! Son Goku!" Tao Pai Pai, "Son Go...kou...?" Goku, "Though you're a bad guy, that was after all, an unforgettable time." Tao Pai Pai's robot eyes scan Goku's face.
Chibi Goku glares at him. Not-so-chibi Goku smiles. He compares the two images to the supposed Son Goku in front of him.

He speaks (unsubbed), and the two bodyguards stand up. Goku looks back and forth at them. Walker chuckles. Goku looks down (and I do mean DOWN) at him. Walker stands only a foot or so taller than Goku's knees. He suddenly starts looking around. "Hmm?" Behind Goku, "Hmm?" And then he returns to his original spot, laughing again. "Where are you hiding? I've brought this camel." Goku, "Camel?" Bodyguards, "Camel?" They look at each other, and Goku looks around behind him. Walker, "Don't play now! He's easy to fool!" Goku, "I don't know this guy." Walker cries. "Anyway!" Goku looks up. "Give us the Dragon Balls!" The bodyguard reaches into Goku's pocket to grab it, but Goku reaches out to stop him and ends up throwing the man into the wall. Goku, "What are you doing?" Walker screams. Other bodyguard, "Damn it!" He pulls out a gun. Tao Pai Pai unscrews his hand. The first bodyguard falls off the wall. Walker, "Damn it!" Goku looks down at his hand. "No, I didn't mean to hurt you." Walker, "SHOOT!" The bullet speeds right past Walker, and he falls to the side, clutching his ears. Goku reaches out and catches the bullet. He drops it in front of him. The second bodyguard screams. "Oh god, he's a monster!" He runs back and leans against the desk. Goku walks over to the man whom he threw into the wall. "I'm sorry. Are you okay?" Tao Pai Pai pulls out a knife. Goku looks back at him, "Hmm?" and he quickly hides it. Bodyguard on the left (guy who wasn't thrown into the wall), "Leader!" Walker, "Don't panic, idiot! I already have the special device in case of emergency." Walker runs back behind his desk and hits a button. A transparent black bubble rises out of the floor, enveloping the desk for protection. Tao Pai Pai backs up into the desk to get under it, and the Right Bodyguard finally jumps up off the floor and scrambles back. "Leader!" Walker, "Hurry up, hurry up!" The bodyguard gets back as the bubble closes, leaving the four of them on the inside and Goku on the outside.

The bodyguard sits on his hands and knees, panting. Walker, "Alright, good." Right, "Yes, leader." Goku approaches the bubble and looks at it. From inside, Walker laughs at him. "You know what this is?" Goku looks down at him. "It's a hard shield! Even you can't break through it!" He smiles. "I've won." He does the evil maniacal laugh thing that all villains need. Goku reaches out and touches the shield with the tip of his index finger. The shield cracks, and Walker's laughing suddenly ceases. The crack quickly spreads all over the shield, and it shatters. Walker grabs Tao Pai Pai by the arm. "Sensei! I need your help!" Tao Pai Pai, "No, I feel a bit strange today." Goku, "I feel so terrible. I really need the Dragon Balls, but it seems you guys tried hard to get them, too. But I've got nothing to exchange for them with you." Tao Pai Pai, "Right. Son Goku, what about this?" He pulls off his left hand. Walker gasps. Three little pieces of metal fall out. Goku looks down at them. "Hmm?" Tao Pai Pai, "Here are three wisdom rings. If you can untangle them by dawn, I'll let you have the Dragon Balls. If you can't, the Dragon Balls you have will be mine." Goku, "Wisdom rings?" Walker, "You're so clever! You're getting control of him through wisdom!" Tao Pai Pai, "I must do the right thing at the right time." Goku smiles. "Yes. Though I've never tried it before, I'll just have to untangle them by dawn." Tao Pai Pai, "Deal. Get Son Goku a chair." Bodyguard, "Y...yes..." Tao Pai Pai reattaches his hand. "Take off your coat, you'll feel much better." The bodyguard brings up a chair, and Tao Pai Pai helps Goku out of his coat, carrying it away. Goku sets to work on the puzzles. "Alright." Tao Pai Pai, "We'd be in your way if we kept looking at you. We'll wait for you outside." Goku nods. Tao Pai Pai, "Leave him here (he says about a bodyguard). Just ask if you need anything." Tao Pai Pai reaches over the desk and hits a button, shutting off all of the monitors. "See you." He grabs the Dragon Balls on the table as he leaves. He, Walker, and one of the bodyguards walk out of the room with the Dragon Balls in their arms. As soon as the doors shut, they laugh and scream. Tao Pai Pai and the bodyguard run off in one direction, and Walker in the other. Walker suddenly stops and walks back. "Wait a minute."

A car pulls out of the garage. The monitor on Walker's desk was not turned off, and the car is seen driving off in the monitor, but since it doesn't face Goku, he doesn't see it. Goku plays with the puzzle. "It's really difficult." He stops and examines it for a moment. Meanwhile, Tao Pai Pai stares at the 1-Star Dragon Ball in his hand as they drive away. Tao Pai Pai laughs. "Let's run as far away as possible." Walker, "Good for you, Tao Pai Pai-sensei." The car speeds away.

Goku, "Alright!" He drops the first completed puzzle on the table and starts on the next. "Two more to go." The sun begins to set, and Goku continues working. The bodyguard sits in the corner of the room, eating. Goku paces back and forth. "It's hard." Night falls on the compound. Goku fighs exhaustion as he works, now down to only one puzzle left. He taps the table with his index finger. The bodyguard points. "Go through that." Goku, "Don't talk. I have to do it by myself." The bodyguard shrinks away. Goku's eyes narrow on the puzzle. "One more." Dawn approaches. The sky grows lighter and lighter. Finally, Goku pulls the puzzle apart. He sets it down. "I did it." He jumps up and throws his arms into the air. The chair falls back behind him. "I can do it!" The bodyguard is startled awake with a yell. He applauds Goku. "Congratulations!"

The car sits parked by a lake or an ocean or something. Goku's coat is folded out on the ground. Six glowing Dragon Balls rest on top of it. Walker, "We've come this far. Son Goku can't get us. It's all the good work of Sensei." Goku walks through the dark halls of the building. "What?" Bodyguard, "Leader has gone." Goku, "Don't worry." He raises his fingers to his forehead. Walker looks up at the sky through his sunglasses. He turns around and sees Son Goku standing behind him. He screams and falls into the water. Tao Pai Pai yelps. "Son Goku!" Goku, "I've untangled all of them." He holds them up for Tao Pai Pai to see. Tao Pai Pai, "Really?" Goku, "Then I should have the Dragon Balls." Walker, "Yes, go ahead." Goku smiles. "Thank you." The bodyguard sits in awe, fear, amazement. Goku flies away with his jacket and Dragon Balls. Tao Pai Pai and Walker simply stand in the water, watching him go.

Bulma wipes her forehead. "Finally." Number 16 lays on the table, completely repaired. He opens his eyes and slowly sits up. Goku breaks the surface of the water carrying the seventh and final Dragon Ball. "Now we have all seven of them."

Finally, ten days pass. Cell stands in the middle of his stage, awaiting the beginning of his tournament. From a cliffside nearby, a news crew watches and waits. Reporter, "There's only one more hour before Cell's Game starts! Let's prepare to be victims. Exclusive viewing of how Cell looks before the Game! Cell just stands there without the slightest movement. Images of Gohan, Vegeta, Trunks, Piccolo, and Mr. Satan are displayed as potential winners of Cell's Game...
