Lose or Die!? Goku's Secret Turnabout Plans

[Based on the manga because I'm missing the anime episode. Of course, it will be rewritten when the DVD comes out. PATIENCE, MY FRIEND.]

Cell begins to beat up on Goku, and Goku has no real choice but to take it. He finally manages to dodge a punch, bending over backward to duck under it. He pushes up and kicks Cell into the air from behind, then jumps back to a crouching position. He vanishes and reappears in the sky behind Cell. He smashes down hard on Cell, but Cell disappears. Goku searches for him, but Cell manages to hit Goku from above/behind anyway.

Reporter, "Where did they go?!" Kuririn, "I... I can't believe how fast they are." The Z Senshi stare up at the sky, watching the fight. Cell smiles at Son. "You're not bad, really. To tell you the truth, I didn't think you would provide me with this much pleasure. Their auras return, which of course, continues to baffle Satan's crew. "It would be too bad to let this fight end with one of us getting knocked out of the ring. Goku doesn't respond.

Cell extends his arm, palm downward at the stage below. "Let's remove the falling out of the ring rule from the game. It has no meaning for us anyway." Goku, "What?! What are you planning on doing?!" He spins around, back toward everyone below. "Everyone, get away from the ring!!" Each Z Senshi senses what's about to happen. Vegeta, "Crap!"

Son holds his arms up to shield himself in preparation. The ki blast springs forth from Cell, hitting the stage. Bits of tile are thrown into the air by the explosion. The explosion dies off, leaving a giant cloud of dust. As the dust settles, a stage no longer separates the Z Senshi from Satan's group; rather, a giant crater has occupied that position.

The Z Senshi stare at the crater. Kuririn, "Whew, that was close!" Number 16 towers over Satan's group. Mr. Satan has his eyes shut in fear, and the cameraman lays on the ground behind Satan. Reporter, "Thank you." Number 16 stands up. "You should leave. You're getting in the way." He walks away. Reporter, "We can't do that. Mr. Satan has to fight." Satan is silent. Reporter, "Right?" Satan suddenly starts laughing. "Right! But let's watch from a little farther away..."

Son Goku stares at Cell. Cell smiles at him. "Now the whole Earth is the ring. Our fight can now only be decided by a give-up or death." Goku smiles. "I see. You really want this to go all the way, don't you?" They land. Cell, "Well then... Shall we use all of our new-found expanse?"

Cell throws a ki blast at Goku, but Son jumps above it, dodging it. He begins a ki blast barrage, but Son Goku manages to dodge it. Goku zips around, avoiding Cell's attacks, but Cell doesn't let up with the ki blasts. Son jumps into the air above Cell and pulls his hands back into an all-too-familiar position.

"KA!......ME!.......HA!......" Cell laughs. "You won't fire Kamehameha from there! You'll destroy the Earth if you do that!" Goku continues the attack. "ME!........." Cell suddenly realizes that he's serious. "Hey... Hey!!" As the Z Senshi look on in the background, Son Goku readies his Kamehameha. Cell makes no attempt to dodge the attack. Piccolo, "It's a Kamehameha! Goku's going to shoot a full-power Kamehameha!" Kuririn, "There's no way he's going to shoot Kamehameha! If he fires from up there, he'll destroy the Earth!"

Cell, "What are you up to... There's no way you're going to shoot..." Son Goku's ki continues to rise. Cell, "I don't...believe it!!" Cell watches Son with disbelief. Vegeta, "He's going to fire!!"

Suddenly, Son Goku disappears. Cell's eyes widen. Goku appears right in front of him. Cell, "Cr...Crap!!" Goku, "HAAA!!!" The full-power Kamehameha fires straight at Cell from a distance of mere inches. Cell's eyes bulge. Son continues to pump ki into the Kamehameha. Cell is thrown back; his body begins to disintegrate and break apart. The Kamehameha dies away, leaving in its wake a huge cloud of dust.
