A Nightmare Is Reborn!! The Absolute Terror

Yamucha stares in disbelief at Perfect Cell. The same reaction comes from Tenshinhan, Kuririn, and well, everyone. Cell grins at them; Satan's party whimpers in fear and confusion. Reporter, "Cell... Cell is back alone! What happened to the young man who disappeared with him? Cell is both incredible and horrible to behold! His strength is beyond our imagination. Ah? Why am I still doing this?" He puts his hand to his head.

Yamucha, "How? How is this possible?!" Vegeta watches Cell in fear, disbelief, and anger.

Goku, "Cell is still alive?! What do you mean, Kaiousama? He blew himself up! You saw that..." Kaiou, "I don't know how it happened, but I'm quite sure he's still alive." Goku flies up to him. "That can't be! You mean I did all this for nothing?" Kaiou, "That's right, including getting me blown up also." Goku clenches his fist; Bubbles hoots and looks at him.

The scene seems just about as hopeless from God's Shrine. Popo approaches Dende as he watches the battle from afar. "Kamisama, is something wrong?" Dende looks back at him. "Cell has been revived." Popo, "What?" Dende, "And now, he is even more powerful." Popo, "But Gohan can beat him again..." Dende looks away. "I don't know if Gohan-san can do it this time." Popo gasps.

Cell chuckles. "Surprised? Well, I'll tell you what happened. This was quite unexpected, and a lucky turn of events." The Z Senshi watch him silently, still in shock over his return. "Inside my brain, there is a lump of nerves." He taps on his head as he speaks to signal where in his head it is. "It is my nucleus, so to speak. Along as one nucleus is undamaged, I can keep regenerating my cells and recreating my whole body.
Son Goku, "Sorry, Kaiousama, but I didn't have a choice." Kaiou, "But to bring him here...?" Suddenly, Cell screams; he bloats up once more and explodes. Kaiousama's planet is reduced to slag. Amid the remains of the planet float the remains of Cell. "My nucleus survived the explosion. I didn't even know such a thing could happen." The 'camera' zooms in on Cell's little nucleus. It pulsates and begins to expand. From the nucleus, Cell's Perfect body begins to emerge. It slowly takes form; when the process is complete, a reborn Perfect Cell floats in the middle of no where, panting. "It was totally unexpected." Cell clenches and unclenches his fist. "And that's not all." Cell begins throwing punches and kicks at the air around him, testing out the body. He stares out at nothing; slowly, a smile forms on his face. He throws his arms up and raises his ki. A bright blue light explodes around him, fades, and then returns. Lightning runs up his body. "I have my Perfect body again, even without Number 18 in my system. This is not just the 'Perfect body' I used to have. It is a far more powerful one, as powerful as Son Gohan. It's probably due to the Saiya-jin cells that I have in my system. The Saiya-jin cell is said to increase its strength when it faces death. Furthermore, I had a chance to absorb Son Goku's Shunkan Idou skill." Cell raises his hands to his forehead and disappears.
"In other words, I have obtained everything I wanted from that explosion. I should thank Son Goku, he gave me a wonderful farewell present." Piccolo watches in shock. Vegeta's eyes fluctuate in size, getting narrow and then wide, narrow, wide. He makes the "kch" sound.

Son Gohan clenches and unclenches his fist. He, too, makes the "kch" sound. Suddenly, he screams and begins to raise his ki. The Z Senshi gasp. Vegeta, "G-Gohan?" Gohan's ki continues to go up; rocks and dust fly about. Gohan smiles. Cell, "What's so funny?" Gohan, "I'm happy." Cell, "Happy?" Gohan, "Yes. I'm happy because you're back so that I can take revenge on you for my father. I wanted to kill you myself..." He clenches a fist. "...for my father." Cell growls. Vegeta stares at Gohan in shock. Cell, "Hm. I don't know about that. I don't think you can beat me like you did before." Yamucha holds his arm up in front of himself, and Piccolo leans away from the two and the wind they're generating. Kuririn whimpers lightly, and Vegeta's still stunned. His eyes suddenly narrow and he turns toward Cell, and then he gasps and his eyes widen again as he turns back to Trunks. Tenshinhan and Yamucha, too, stare down at Trunks' body.

Trunks is still alive. He coughs up some blood and dies. Yamucha, "Trunks!!" He runs up to him. Suddenly, everything disappears except Trunks and Vegeta on a black background. Vegeta stares down in shock at his dead son. "Trunks...!"
Son Goku waves to everyone. "Bye bye, everyone." He and Cell disappear. Gohan, "Father!!"
Vegeta watches Trunks' lifeless form. "Ka...Kakkarotto..."
A golden ki blast flies out of the cloud of dust and straight through Trunks. He yelps and flies back, landing behind the rest of the Z Senshi with a thud.
Cell, "I should thank Son Goku. He gave me a wonderful farewell present."
Son Gohan screams and begins raising his ki.
Cell, "Happy?" Gohan, "I can take revenge on you for my father."
And still, Vegeta stares at Trunks. "Gohan!"
Wind blows past Trunks. Suddenly, Trunks is engulfed by a black void as Vegeta watches.
Gohan, "I wanted to kill you myself..." He raises his fist.
Vegeta, "Damn it...!" He clenches his fist. "What was I doing? I should have been the one to kill Cell! Not that...not that low-class fighter or his son!"
Vegeta returns to reality. "DAMN IT!" He throws his hands up and then down to his side, hunched in a power-up position, screaming. All eyes are suddenly on Vegeta. Piccolo and Kuririn gasp.

Vegeta leaps forward, turning Super Saiya-jin on his way there. He screams and throws a ki blast at Cell. The ki blast flies foward; Cell's eyes narrow and he hunches over. The blast hits. Dust gets thrown about into the air; Kuririn shields his head and shuts his eyes. Piccolo, Tenshinhan, and Yamucha are in the same position. Wind and dust fly past Trunks. Satan's group screams and ducks back down behind their rocks. Son Gohan stares out at Vegeta and the huge cloud of dust in front of him.

Vegeta screams and throws a barrage of ki blasts into the cloud. The cloud grows and grows as explosion after explosion goes off inside. And still, Vegeta's attack continues. Reporter, "A fierce new battle is raging, Ladies and Gentlemen!" He looks down at the mic, screams in frustration, and hits the ground.

Gohan stares out silently; Piccolo grunts and gasps amid the flying debris. Kuririn, "Ve...Vegeta!" Vegeta's attack finally concludes; he lifts into the air to watch the dust settle, panting heavily. Rocks rain down on the area. Kuririn, "Vegeta..." Vegeta, "Cell! I, the Prince of Planet Vegeta, will be the one who destroys you!" He throws his head back and screams as he raises his ki a bit more, then begins another ki blast assault. The cloud begins to grow once again. Finally, after a minute or so of ki blasts, Vegeta finishes his attack. His aura fades away and he hovers above the cloud, breathing heavily. He stares down into the dust and debris below him. Everyone stares at him silently. Satan and the reporter duck-and-cover.

Son Gohan gasps and looks up; Vegeta, too, gasps when Cell emerges from the cloud of dust. "What was the Prince of Planet Vegeta going to do?" He smashes Vegeta into the ground. Vegeta grunts and stares up at Cell. Gohan gasps. Reporter, "Cell has beaten another one." Satan, "What the hell is happening?"

Cell smiles, staring down at Vegeta, who struggles to get back up. Cell, "Die, Vegeta!" He powers up a ki blast and launches it at Vegeta; Gohan gasps and jumps forward. He jumps over Vegeta just as the ki blast reaches the same destination. As always, a giant explosion ensues. Piccolo screams as the force of the blast pushes him back. Kuririn and the other human Z Senshi gasp and try to shield themselves. Satan's crew once again takes a trip through the air. Satan flies into a boulder, the reporter on top of him, Calorie on top of the reporter, Pizza on top of Calorie, and then Piroshiki smashing into all of them.

The dust clears. Cell stares down toward the spot where Vegeta was laying, and when the dust around him finally dissipates, he finds Son Gohan on top of Vegeta. Gohan does the "kch" sound once. Cell stares down at them; Gohan begins to rise up. "Kch" several more times. He rises to his feet. Blood pools under him. Cell grins. "Well, well... How about that?" Blood pours freely out of Gohan's left arm. He turns and looks up at Cell. Piccolo, "Gohan!" Yamucha and Ten watch in shock, as well. Ten, "Gohan!" Kuririn, "Vegeta, you idiot!! We could have revived Trunks with the Dragon Balls!"

Cell lands. "Well, you look like you still have some fight left in you." Gohan doesn't respond. "But I won't play around with you anymore. I've had enough of this." Gohan, "Cell's power has increased tremendously." Piccolo turns to Gohan. "Senzu! Where are the senzu?" Kuririn, "We used them all..." Piccolo growls quietly. Yamucha, "This is the end." He looks away from Cell and Gohan, then looks back. "Gohan can't continue to fight with that injury." Trunks lies dead on the ground; Vegeta lies unconscious. Gohan glares at Cell.

Cell smiles and brings his arms out in front of him, wrist to wrist, hands forming a cup. Son Gohan gasps. He brings his arms back to his side. "I won't show you any mercy." Gohan stares at him in fear and disbelief. "You'll die along with this planet!:" Kuririn, Piccolo, Tenshinhan, and Yamucha all gasp simultaneously. Son Gohan stares at him with wide eyes.
