From Father to Son!! Son Goku's Spirit Passed Down

Cell laughs. "I'll blow the whole planet up! You'll be gone, and so will everything else!" Cell's ki generates strong winds. Gohan stares out at him in fear. "Damn, I can't do it. Cell is too strong to beat now. Father, I'm sorry. I can't beat Cell anymore." He lowers his head. "I could have done it if I hadn't been so foolish." The winds blow dust around Vegeta and Satan's crew.

Satan, "It's a trick! It has to be a trick!" The reporter pushes him out of the way. "How can I describe this, Ladies and Gentlemen? The wind is just incredible! It feels like I'm standing in the middle of a typhoon! You may not be able to hear me, Ladies and Gentlemen, but I'm going to continue reporting anyway." The wind blows him and Satan off their feet.

Vegeta, "How could this happen? I've become a burden on a child. Me... a Saiya-jin... a noble warrior!" He looks up at Son Gohan. "I'm sorry, Gohan." Gohan gasps and looks back at him. "Vegeta-san is apologizing to me?" He looks back to Cell. "Does this mean he knows there's no hope left?"

Dust flies about around the Z Senshi, too. Kuririn, "Gohan..." Number 18 remains unconscious in his arms. Piccolo throws his head back and screams. "DAMN IT!! I feel so powerless!" As Gohan can do nothing but look on, Cell continues to power up his attack, and the dust and debris swirl around the area more violently than ever.

The sky darkens around God's Shrine. Popo blinks. "Kamisama, what is it?" Dende, "It's enormous power... I've never sensed such enormous power before..." Popo, "Is it Cell's? Or..." Dende, "Gohan-san..."

Everyone on New Namek suddenly stops working and looks toward the sky. A dark shadow covers part of the planet. Saichorou stares into the sky. A Namekseijin worker turns to him. "Saichorou-sama, what does this mean?" Worker 2, "We all have a bad premonition. What is happening on Planet Earth?" Saichorou looks down at the ground. Worker, "Is it a sign of the end?" The second worker looks back at him. Saichorou stares ahead grimly.

A huge dome of golden light surrounds the battlefield back on Earth. Cell laughs. "It's amazing how perfect I am! Even I can't believe this myself! This must be the Perfect body Dr. Gero was seeking." He stares out at Gohan.
Lightning strikes around Dr. Gero's lab. Inside, Cell grows inside the tank full of green liquid. Dr. Gero works at his computer. An elevator descends, and Number 18 and Number 17 step off. Number 17, "Dr. Gero, how long are you going to work on that project?" Dr. Gero, "Leave me alone." Number 18, "We're strong enough to beat Son Goku, aren't we?" She walks past a tank of some clear liquid. "We're your finest creation, right?" Number 17 pulls out the blueprints for Cell, knocking lots of other things on the floor. He unrolls the blueprints. Dr. Gero, "Don't touch that! What I'm building is the ultimate Artificial Human." Number 17 drops the blueprints. "The ultimate Artificial Human? Is it better than us?" Dr. Gero, "Leave me alone! This one belongs to a whole new level. Compared to him, you two would be like babies! Now return to your capsules and go back to sleep, or I'll activate the controller again." He reaches out and grabs the controller. Number 18 reaches out and knocks over one of the tanks of clear liquid, and it falls into another tank, and another, for a domino effect that knocks over all the tanks. Dr. Gero jumps to his feet. Number 17 leaps forward and knocks Dr. Gero's head off. Lighting strikes outside as the head bounces to the floor. Dr. Gero, "Fools. Eventually, you two are going to be absorbed by him and become part of the ultimate Artificial Human." Number 18, "What is he babbling about?" She blasts him. A bubble rises up in Cell's tank.

The two Artificial Humans stare at the tank. Number 18, "It's pretty cute, isn't it?" She examines the tank. "This is the ultimate Artificial Human? Dr. Gero must have been crazy." Number 17 puts his hand on the tank. "Sorry little guy, but we don't need this lab anymore. So...click." The heavy metal doors outside the lab swing shut. Number 17 flies away. Number 18 looks down. "Oh, dear, I need some new clothes. I've been wearing this forever." She brushes back her hair and follows Number 17. Once in the air, both of them blast the lab.

"But Dr. Gero's computer kept the incubator active until I was ready to emerge."
Dr. Gero, "Cell, your body consists of cells from dozens of martial arts experts. But you must absorb both Number 17 and Number 18 before you can achieve the Perfect body."
The tank explodes and Cell's insect-type first form (the one with the shell that Gohan and co. originally find) walks away. Cell stops and the shell cracks open. A white figure emerges, and as color comes to the figure, it turns into Original Cell.
"I emerged from the lab several years later. By this time, Number 17 and Number 18 had already destroyed everything in the world."
We see a world in ruins. Cell's shadow appears over a ruined city, and filling his shadow are images of frightened humans.
"So I absorbed all the surviving humans for energy and kept growing, but I couldn't achieve the Perfect body. Number 17 and Number 18 were no where to be found. I had to have the Perfect body. So to reach Number 17 and Number 18, I reverted to larval form and snuck into Trunks' time machine and went back ten years to arrive here."
Number 17, "Where are you, Monster? Show me what you look like!" Cell slowly rises out of the ground behind him. Cell laughs. "Here I am, behind you!" Number 17 gasps and spins around as Cell's tail swings down and engulfs him. Cell laughs; Number 17 struggles, but can't get free of the tail. Cell undergoes his first transformation.
Number 18 puts up a futile struggle against Imperfect Cell as he slowly walks toward her, smiling. His tail fans out to absorb her. Number 18, "Damn..." She leaps forward and attacks him, but Cell easily dodges her assaults. His tail swings down over her and sucks her in. Cell grins. Number 18 is fully swallowed up, and Cell becomes Perfect. Lightning strikes around the island and the dome of green light expands outward from the center.
"I achieved the Perfect body. But I didn't know that there was something else I could achieve. Dr. Gero's dream, ultimate power. But now I know I can achieve it."

Cell's lump regens the Perfect body. "Dr. Gero's ambition was not just to defeat Son Goku. It was to create the ultimate power that could conquer the entire universe. I only realized that now. Now, I can keep regenerating myself forever. All I need is a little piece of nucleus, and just like the Saiya-jin cell does, keep becoming stronger whenever I face death." Cell stands amid a black background. Piccolo, Super Saiya-jin Son Goku, Super Saiya-jin Vegeta, and Freezer all fly by him. "After taking cells from Freezer and the rest of you, I now have the Perfect body. I turned out exactly as Dr. Gero planned."

"I hadn't originally planned on destroying this planet, but now I can't help it. In ten years, the Earth will have been destroyed anyway. Having learned Shunkan Idou, I have nothing to worry about from blowing up the Earth. How Perfect I am... I'm beyond my imagination." Gohan glares at him as his ki blast continues to power up.

The wind blows, thunder cracks. Even though she's still unconscious, Number 18 screams. Kuririn looks down at her, then back up. "Damn, is there really nothing we can do?" Piccolo screams. Kuririn, "Is this really the end?" Yamucha watch in fear. Trunks' hair blows about in the wind.

Cell laughs. "My energy is reaching a level strong enough to destroy the entire solar system." He clenches his teeth and stares out at Gohan. Reporter, "Cell is preparing to attack again! Strange lights and mysterious energies are emerging from him!" He gets blown back a couple feet. "It feels like the entire Earth is shaking! I don't understand what's happening." Satan, "Trick! It's a trick! Trick! Trick!" He gets blown away by the wind.

In the cities, people begin to scream and panic. The ground shakes, people run to escape. A little girl stops and begins to cry, but someone grabs her and runs away. Winds blow everything around; even the highway, packed with cars, sways with the wind.

Chichi throws her arms into the air. "What the hell is going on there?! What happened to the coverage? And what the hell are these earthquakes?!" She smashes her fists down. "Gohan-chan! Gohan-chan! Gohan-chan!" Gyuu Mao runs up to her. "Chichi, take it easy! You must calm down!" Chichi, "What are you saying? Who could calm down at a time like this?" She grabs Gyuu Mao's horns. "Gohan-chan! Gohan-chan!" Gyuu Mao shuts his eyes, then opens them again. "Chichi!"

"Chichi, are you home?" Chichi suddenly stops. "Huh...?" Gyuu Mao looks up. "That voice..." The door swings open to reveal Uranai Baba outside. Gyuu Mao, "Uranai Baba!" Uranai Baba floats in on her crystal ball. "Here you are, Chichi. I thought I'd stop by and let you see how you're son's doing out there, because the coverage was cut off. I'm sure you were worried to death." She sets the ball down on the table, and Chichi turns around. Uranai Baba begins to utter her incantation while waving her hands around in front of the ball. Chichi spins around and runs to the table. "Hurry up! Let me see him, hurry!" Chichi stares intently at the crystal ball as the incantation continues; after a while, nothing happens. Chichi turns to Uranai Baba. "Hurry!" Uranai Baba, "It takes time." An image slowly appears on the ball. Chichi, "Gohan..." Finally, Gohan shows up on the ball. "Gohan! What happened to your arm?" She faints, and Gyuu Mao catches her. "Chichi!" Chichi, unconscious, utters, "Gohan..."

Son Gohan stares at Cell, clutching his arm. Cell, "What's wrong, Gohan? You've been so quiet!" Gohan, "Do it already. I know there's nothing I can do to stop you." He shuts his eyes. "Father, I'll be with you soon. We'll all be together soon." Cell, "Hmph. Pity. It's a rather boring ending, isn't it? I'm glad that it's over, though." The blue ball of ki forms in his hands. Gohan, "This is it. It's the end. The Earth will be destroyed." A bright light engulfs the entire area of the planet in which the battle is taking place, with a bright speck of light from the battlefield itself.

"Don't give up. Gohan! Saiya-jin never give up. Gohan?" Gohan looks into the air. "Fa...Father? Where are you?" Goku, "I'm up here. Kaiousama is helping me communicate with you." Son Goku floats over the Serpent Road with his arm on Kaiou's back. Kaiou sighs, Bubbles hoots. "You are the strongest fighter of the Saiya-jin race. Give him your best Kamehameha. You can do it, I know you can." Gohan, "But... I can only use my right arm now, and I feel my power draining." Piccolo stares out with wide eyes. Kuririn looks into the sky. "Who's he talking to?" Cell, "Hmph. Have you lost your sanity in the face of death?" Goku, "Everything will be alright. Trust your own power, Gohan! You're the strongest one in the whole universe." Gohan stares into the sky. "I understand, Dad."

He turns back to Cell. "I'll do my best." He pulls his right hand away from his dead left arm. Goku, "I'm doing fine up here. Kaiousama's keeping me busy. And I'm sure you'll be alright down there." Kaiou, "I'm not doing alright..." Gohan, "I'm sorry, Dad. It was my fault that you died." Goku, "Gohan, don't be sorry. I may have died, but whenever you think of me, I'm always with you." Gohan, "But..." Goku, "Get revenge for me. Defeat Cell for me!" Gohan, "Right!"

His aura returns and he begins to raise his ki. Cell's eyes widen a bit. "Hmm." Piccolo, "Gohan?" Kuririn, "He's going to try again?" Son Gohan holds out his good arm. "KA!!" He pulls it back to his side. "ME!!... HA!!... ME!!..." Cell smiles. "So you're going to die fighting after all." They watch each other; both of their auras expand out and when they hit, they both explode away.

Popo, "What's happening, Kamisama?" Dende, "Gohan-san... Good luck." A canister dances on the table in front of Chichi. She stares straight into the crystal ball. "Gohan-chan..." The strong wind generated by both of them raising their ki of course has bad effects on Satan's group. Cell laughs. Piccolo, "Damn! It's no use! Gohan's ki isn't as strong as Cell's." Cell and Gohan both scream as their ki continues rising. Son Goku watches via Kaiousama. The blue ki ball in Cell's hands expands. "Die!" He fires his Kamehameha. Gohan screams and launches his straight toward Cell's.

Gohan pushes at his Kamehameha with "help" from Son Goku, standing by his side.
