A Battle of Extreme Measures!! Kami-sama Breaks the Covenant
We see God's shrine from a distance, nearly destroyed. The light produced from the Makyo-sei shines over it, casting an eerie red glow. Garlic Jr., in his transformed state, chuckles. His henchmen also chuckle as Kuririn jumps back to join Gohan and Piccolo. Gohan looks on in terror as the white haired henchmen tells him to watch what they can do.
The two henchmen go to separate places and start to scream, obviously powering up. They scream for a bit and suddenly grow as huge as Garlic Jr. God's Shrine trembles as the minions laugh. They taunt Gohan and Kuririn and attack them. They fade out before they reach the three warriors and fade back behind them. Kuririn and Gohan are both sent flying into a pillar and even fly off the edge of God's Shrine, but they are kicked back by the minions. Gohan gets loose and starts attacking the white haired minion. Kuririn gets loose, but doesn't do anything.
Piccolo jumps around a bit, trying to find Garlic Jr. He stops and looks around, only to find Garlic Jr. is behind him. Garlic Jr. attacks, but Piccolo fades out. He appears a short distance away and Garlic Jr. attacks again. Piccolo dodges again, but Garlic Jr. pursues. He kicks, but Piccolo blocks in and tries to punch Garlic Jr. Garlic Jr. catches Piccolo's fist and grins. Garlic Jr. lets go and Piccolo and he start to battle.
Popo and Kami-sama are down inside God's Shrine, still trying to reach the air currents. Kami-sama is having trouble, for the spirit that attacked him cast a spell on him for drowsiness. Popo tells him that if he falls asleep down here, he'll never wake up. A voice speaks from the distance. It tells Popo to leave Kami-sama alone and let him rest. A figure appears and it is shown that the words are coming from a spirit of a former Kami-sama. Popo recognizes the spirit as the former Kami-sama, but he hardly has any time to greet before the spirit powers up. A hole appears under Popo, nearly swallowing him up, but Popo catches the side and pulls himself to safety. A hole appears under Kami-sama and he buku jutsus out of there.
The former Kami-sama gets offended somehow and zaps Kami-sama. A hole appears under Kami-sama again, but he just floats above it. He keeps fading in and out as he pleads with the former Kami-sama to let them pass this once. Popo tackles Kami-sama so he isn't over the hole anymore. Kami-sama continues to beg for a grant to pass. The former Kami-sama tries to blast the real Kami-sama, but Popo jumps in the way and takes the blast. The blast ends and Popo is left, smoking.
Kami-sama decides to make up a plan. He tells Popo to get ready to run. They run, dodging blasts as they go. Popo jumps into the screen, his mouth devouring our view.
Popo's throat turns into Kuririn's, and we see Kuririn flying backwards into a pillar. The minion with the hat kicks him and sends him right through the pillar, taking a chunk of the pillar with him. He repeats this several times, for we see the pillar shrinking in the distance. The white haired minion continues his battle with Gohan, who dodges a knee.
Popo and Kami-sama are shown running again. Holes now appear in front of them, and they both jump them. Popo nearly misses and almost falls in, but lands on the edge. They continue to run, looking like they're running the 200 meter hurdles. Blasts continue to fly from the former Kami-sama, and Popo and Kami-sama increase their speed.
A cloud of dust rises from God's Shrine. Then another. The Makyo-sei shines in the distance and Kuririn flies through the air. He falls, and seems unconscious, so the minion in the hat leaves him be. Kuririn hits the ground with a sickening thud. The minion in the hat lands by Kuririn and steps on him, trying to crush him. Kuririn remains unconscious as he begins to descend into the ground. The minion in the hat decides he's had enough and kicks Kuririn out of the hole. He flies off the edge of God's Shrine and starts to fall toward the Earth. Gohan notices and flies to save his friend.
Right before Gohan reaches Kuririn, a series of ki blasts stop him. The two minions descend toward Gohan and he starts to fight them both. Kuririn still plummets. Gohan finally gets pissed and screams. He sends ki blasts to both sides of him, engulfing both minions. The ki blasts work their way into the stomachs of the minions and nuke them from the inside. Both explode as Gohan rushes to save Kuririn.
Piccolo is now fighting Garlic Jr., and he's basically getting his ass whooped. Garlic Jr. fades and reappears to slam Piccolo into the ground. As he's falling, Garlic Jr. hits him again to give him a little more velocity. Piccolo crashes into a pillar, which seems to lean for a bit. Garlic Jr. thinks he's won and starts to laugh.
Garlic Jr. stands over Piccolo's presumable grave, smirking. He laughs and then starts to walk away. There's rumbling behind him. Someone is moving in the rubble. Gohan is shown bringing Kuririn back onto God's Shrine. Garlic Jr. smirks at Gohan as Gohan glares. Gohan gets in a fighting stance as Garlic Jr. tells him that he has killed Piccolo. Gohan starts to get pissed.
The pillar behind Garlic Jr. cracks. It breaks apart all the way up its shaft. Then it falls. Piccolo is shown standing in the rubble, more alive than ever. Piccolo decides he's had enough and transforms himself to Garlic Jr.'s size. He rushes Garlic Jr. and knees him in the face. Garlic Jr. flies into several pillars, each giving way to him. Garlic Jr. is show getting smashed into several objects. In other words, he's getting his ass beat.
Kami-sama and Popo are still running and dodging. They hurdle and smash into something clear. An invisible wall. Popo then remembers that they can't go any farther without the permission of the former Kami-sama. Kami-sama then gets zapped. Kami-sama decides to try to break through the wall and sends some ultra sonic waves through it. It works and breaks the wall. They continue running. Kami-sama suddenly collapses. Popo rushes over to see what's wrong and watches in horror as Kami-sama's hand fades out.
Piccolo sends hundreds of ki blasts into a cloud of smoke. He stops and lands, in pain. He looks at his hand and notices that it is fading out. Garlic Jr. gets out of the fallen pillar and flaunts that Kami-sama is causing Piccolo to lose power. He vows that he will win.
Kami-sama and Popo continue running. Popo says that he senses something ahead, and two spirits appear, both resembling the former Kami-sama. They morph and wrap themselves around Kami-sama. Piccolo starts to feel the effects and shrinks down to normal size. Kami-sama looks as if he was a ghost, for he has been faded out. He powers up and blasts the two spirits off of him. Piccolo regains his strength and starts whooping Garlic Jr.'s ass. Kami-sama and Popo continue to run and hurdle. Kami-sama blasts through another clear wall and Popo follows. Piccolo continues his beat down of Garlic Jr. But Kami-sama starts to fade out again.
Garlic Jr. raises his arms and slams Piccolo's back. He growls and knees Piccolo in the ribs. Gohan is ready to attack when he hears Kuririn's voice behind him. He turns to listen. Kuririn says that he must help Piccolo, for he's losing power due to Kami-sama being in the spirit lands. Piccolo falls to the ground as Garlic Jr. moves in for the kill.
Kami-sama and Popo bust through another wall and finally see the air current chamber. Kami-sama begins to fade out, though, and it looks grim. Piccolo's head is being squeezed by Garlic Jr. and he is sent into a wall, leaving an imprint of himself. Piccolo struggles to get up as Garlic Jr. is about to ki blast the hell out of him. But someone appears in front of the fist. Gohan has saved the day. He holds back Garlic Jr.'s fist and powers up, sending Garlic Jr. flying backwards.
Gohan gets in a fighting stance, ready to defend his idol.
