Goku's New Special Attack?! Watch My Instantaneous Movement

Kuririn asks what was said, and Goku says that it wasn't really important. Piccolo speaks up. "Tell us. It's important to everyone." Goku, "Piccolo? Did you hear us?" Piccolo explains that his auditory system is different, and he was able to hear what they were saying. Bulma asks what Piccolo meant when he said it was important to them, and Piccolo offers to explain it for them, if Goku can't do it. He tells them everything, but cuts out anything pertaining to Trunks or his origins. He finishes and Yamucha laughs. "That's stupid! It sounds like a bad lie. Why should we believe it!" Bulma agrees. "Yeah! A time machine?" Piccolo, "I don't care if you don't believe a word I just said. You can play around and die in three years, but I'm going to train myself, because I don't want to die." There's an odd noise overhead, and Trunks can be seen flying by in his time machine. He looks down on the Z Senshi, "Father...you're just like mother said. Strong, full of pride, strict, and lonesome. Please don't die. Young mother, do your best as well." He waves, and the ship disappears in a bright flash of light. Tenshinhan, "Uh...I'll train." Yamucha seconds that idea.

Everyone stands around for a moment, and Vegeta speaks up. "Kakkarotto, tell me, how did you survive on the planet Namek?" Yamucha, "Yeah, that's right. Freezer's spaceship was destroyed, wasn't it? Even Kaiousama said there was no way for you to live." Goku, "Ah, even I thought it was over." Now we see a flashback to those last moments on Namek, but there's a little more than what we saw when it actually happened before. Goku's still running frantically through the ship, it still refuses to work. "Move, move!" As the planet Namek literally crumbles, Goku tries to manipulate the ship's controls. "It's going to explode! Namek's going to explode!" Out in space, a view of the planet...well, basically there is no planet. It's a ball of light and fire, and a few chunks of rock here and there. That flash of light, with Goku throwing his head back and screaming, is replayed. Back to present, we see a view of Goku's ship and slowly move up out of the crater. "I really thought I was going to die, but luckily nearby, there were five ball-like spaceships, like that one." Vegeta, "That's right! Those were the Ginyu Tokusentai ships!" Goku, "Anyway, I got inside and in desperation, hit the switch." Freezer's ship falls into the crater on Namek as the planet nears its end. Goku pounds the controls and screams. Goku sees one of the spherical ships falling into the planet, and jumps out of Freezer's ship. He chases the smaller ship down towards the molten rock, and gets inside. He hits some buttons, and just as the ship impacts the lava, it lifts out. Just as Goku gets out, Namek explodes. Now we see Goku's ship, flying low over a strange planet with a yellow sky. Huge mountains rise up, and the whole planet appears rocky, with a sort of blue/white color to it (well, with the exception of the yellow sky). Goku's ship slams into one of the mountains, knocking off the top. The hatch on Goku's ship falls open, and Goku slides out, unconscious and headed towards the ground. When he comes to, several odd aliens are around him, two stand directly over him. "I survived. At least this doesn't look like heaven..." He slips out of consciousness again. Vegeta puts two and two together. "They must have planned to go to Yardratto next and programmed their ships to go there. I see, those odd clothes must belong to the Yardratto-jin." Goku, "We got to be friends and they gave me these, even though they're ugly. But mine were ripped to shreds." Vegeta, "How about you? You didn't just go to Yardratto and then come back! They aren't strong but they know a lot of strange techniques. You stayed there to learn!" Goku stands with his back turned to Vegeta for a moment, then jumps around. "That's right!" They ask what Goku learned. "I didn't have much time, so I could only learn one new technique. Even so, that took a lot of work. It's called Shunkan Idou (Instantaneous Movement)." Everyone repeats the name, and Tenshinhan requests that Goku show them. Goku agrees, and explains that in order to teleport somewhere, he must be able to sense a ki. He then ponders where to go, and when he comes up with an idea, he puts his two forefingers to his forehead. He starts to dematerialize, and he waves goodbye before vanishing completely. Seconds later, he returns. Vegeta, "That's stupid, how is that Shunkan Idou?" But he can't see Goku's face, which is now partially hidden - behind Kamesennin's sunglasses. Kuririn and Bulma recognize the sunglasses, and at Kame House, we see Kamesennin, searching. "They're gone! They're gone! My sunglasses are gone." Yamucha, "Bu...but Kame House is 10,000 kilometers from here!" Now that Goku's been proven to possess Shunkan Idou, Vegeta's absolutely seething. Goku hands the sunglasses to Kuririn to give to Kamesennin. Kuririn puts them on, and Tenshinhan says, "Let's all meet in three years. Where should we meet, then?" And of course, we all know Goku... "I'm sure he told me, but..." Goku looks up towards the sky. "...I forgot." Everyone does the obligatory anime fall, and Piccolo speaks up. "In three years on the twelfth of May around 10:00 AM, on an island nine kilometers southwest of the Souther Capital. Let's meet an hour early at 9 AM on that island." Goku thanks Piccolo, and Kuririn mentions that it's a good thing Piccolo overheard the conversation. Piccolo, "Just in case, anyone without self-confidence doesn't need to come. It looks like these opponents are serious. We don't need anyone there to get underfoot." Yamucha decides that he'll be going, and Kuririn laughs. Vegeta, "Don't make me laugh. You're the one with the least confidence here." Piccolo, "What? Do you want to test me?" Goku steps between the two, preventing a possible (and likely) fight.

Bulma comes up with a novel concept - kill Dr. Gero now. "Even if we don't know where he is, we can gather the Dragon Balls and ask Shenron. He can tell us. That way we won't have to go to any trouble in three years." Kuririn agrees with that idea. Vegeta, "If you do anything foolish like that, I'll kill you! Understood?" Bulma starts yelling at him. "What's foolish?! This isn't a game! This is the fate of the Earth!!" Kuririn tries to calm her down. Bulma looks to Son Goku for support. "I'm sorry, but to tell you the truth, I want to fight, too. And that scientist hasn't done anything we have to kill him for yet." Bulma turns to the non-Saiya-jin present. She reminds them all that if they die, they can't be revived - although this isn't actually true of Gohan. Tenshinhan says, "I'll fight, too. I want to test my potential. If I die, I'll know that's the best I can do." Yamucha sides with Tenshinhan.

Kuririn then brings up another point. "Everyone here started off as enemies, even I didn't like Goku at first. When even more powerful enemies showed up, we had to work together whether we liked it or not, and that's how we got to be friends." He continues on, and Bulma asks what he's trying to say. He whispers in her ear, "If we don't have an enemy to bring us together, even assuming Piccolo's ok, we don't know what Vegeta will do." Gohan, "That was a good talk until the middle, Kuririn-san." Kuririn tells him to shup up, and Bulma rants on. "Ok, do whatever you want. You don't have to worry about the effects of what you do on weak, normal people like me." Goku, "We'll fight for peace for the future!" Most of the other Z Senshi raise their arms in agreement, but Vegeta just looks on and Bulma says, "This is like a dictatorship. You're all wrong...you freaks. Since I don't have a choice, I'll stay around with you." Goku, "Ok then, in three years...now let's see, the twelfth of May at 9:00 in the morning at that place!" He scratches his head and continues. "Only those with self-confidence need to go!" Vegeta, "Kakkarotto, don't get cocky just because you're a Super Saiya-jin. I'll beat you soon enough! Remember, I'm the Number One Saiya-jin!" With that, Vegeta leaves. Tenshinhan, "We'll be there, too, in three years." Chaouzu levitates up and says goodbye, then the two fly off together. Kuririn, "Chaouzu, get incredibly strong!" Gohan, "Tenshinhan-san, show us a bunch of new techniques!" Goku turns to Piccolo. "Piccolo, will you train with Gohan and I? I'd like to spar with you." Piccolo, "Ok, I was about to ask that, too." Gohan's elated to train with his father and mentor. Goku, "How about you, Kuririn and Yamucha?" Kuririn says that he'll train at his own pace at Kame House. Yamucha, "I'll pass, too. To tell you the truth, I don't think I could keep up with your training." Goku says goodbye, and prepares to leave. He stops and gets in one more line: "Bulma, have a healthy baby!" Bulma's shocked, but before she can respond, Piccolo, Goku, and Gohan have left. Kuririn, "Did he say 'baby'? Bulma, are you pregnant?" Bulma, "Of course not! What's Goku thinking?" Yamucha jumps in. "Uh, I'm sure what he wanted to say was we should settle down and get married and have a happy family. Or something like that." Yamucha begins to laugh nervously. "Even he's starting to say stuff like that."

Kuririn shows up at Kame House, and Kamesennin explains that "the ghost of Goku stole his glasses." He asks why Kuririn has his sunglasses, and Kuririn tells him he wants to start training. Kamesennin jumps into a beach chair and starts reading his...magazines. Kuririn, "I want to start training again from scratch. Excuse me, what about my training?!" Kamesennin giggles as he looks through the magazine.

At the Capsule Corporation headquarters, Vegeta demands a 300G training room from Dr. Briefs. "It looks like Kakkarotto trained at 100 Gs, I want to do three times what he did." Dr. Briefs, "That's impossible. If you weigh 60 kilograms, you'll weigh 18 tons." Vegeta starts to get annoyed. "Build it! Build it no matter what it takes!"

And then to Mount Paozu, where Chichi's never-ending rant goes on about Gohan's school work. Needless to say, she's not exactly happy about the new "arrangements." She demands to know why Gohan can't study while just Piccolo and Goku fight, and Goku explains that they'll need Gohan's help. Chichi says that training isn't doing anything worthwhile. She then starts complaining that Goku doesn't work. "Have you made a single red cent since we married?" Goku, "That's not a fair thing to say... We don't have time for that now, and Gohan wants to fight, too." Chichi marches toward him. "I forbid it. No matter what you say, I won't let it happen." Goku, "So you're saying Gohan's studies are more important than the whole future of the Earth?" Chichi, "YES! That's exactly what I'm saying! I don't care what's going to happen! Gohan's studies are more important!" Goku, "You big kidder!" He gives her a slap on the back...and sends her flying through the wall, then through a tree outside. "Sorry Chichi, I got to strong, I thought I was holding back enough." So then later as they bandage her up... "I'm really sorry, it just happened." Outside the Son house, Piccolo waits. "So even a Super Saiya-jin has a weakness..."

Next, Tenshinhan and a terrified Chaouzu train. Chaouzu stands against a rock ledge, and Tenshinhan throws several ki blasts at it, destroying most of the ledge, but the area around Chaouzu remaining intact. Chaouzu, "Ten-san, that was impressive..." With that comment made, the rest of the ledge crumbles to the ground behind Chaouzu.

Next, back to Kame House. Kamesennin's still got his magazine out, but Kuririn's training himself. Kuririn begins preparing a Kamehameha, and the water starts moving faster around him, slapping at his ankles. Kamesennin pays no attention for a few moments, then turns and waves his magazine, saying, "Kuririn, this is great!" Kuririn continues charging up his blast and Kamesennin offers him a look at the magazine.

On an icy ledge, Gohan slides back. Goku, "Let's continue, Gohan." Goku begins powering up, then Piccolo and last, Gohan. The ledge behind Gohan starts to fall apart, and suddenly Goku and Piccolo rush Gohan. He blocks hits coming in from either side, and then both Goku and Piccolo leap into the air. Piccolo fires off a ki blast, but Gohan not only deflects it, he throws it toward Goku. Goku dodges and Piccolo comes in, throwing Gohan back with a punch. The ledge under Gohan collapses, and he crashes into the snow far below. Piccolo, "Shall we finish for the day?" Goku, "Yeah." Gohan, "Not yet, train me some more. I want to be strong. Just like Father and Piccolo-san."

Some girls in tight clothes exercise as Yamucha attempts to train. A trainer walks into the room. "Don't look at that, pay attention to your training." Yamucha, "What? Ok." He pulls forward, says "One!" and ends up breaking the machine, pulling it so hard that the weights fly off. "I guess I can't train with this machine after all."

Vegeta does pushups in his gravity room, currently set at 150G. "I'll surpass him. I'm going to surpass the Super Saiya-jin."

Gohan, Piccolo, and Goku prepare to begin again. Gohan, "Come on."
