The Cold-Blooded Number 20's Hideous Atrocities!! Goku's Super Transformation of Anger

There's a few from far above the island. We go back down into the flaming wreckage and see the older with his arm still there in Yamucha. Yamucha still has his hands around the older one's arm, but being impaled does bad things for your strength, so he can't do much by way of struggling anymore. His arms finally fall limp to his sides. The Artificial Human removes his arm, and as the arm emerges, so does a lot of blood that pools on the sidewalk.

Son Goku runs down the street. Tenshinhan stands up on top of his building. "A large ki is struggling and getting weaker. Who is it?" Kuririn stands down in the street, looking around. "Is that Yamucha?" Piccolo flies over the city. "They've shown themselves." He speeds up, toward the source of the dying ki.

A beeping sound alerts the fat Artificial Human as Tenshinhan drops in on the party. He stares at the Artificial Humans, gasping when he sees Yamucha. Piccolo and Kuririn land at the same time near Tenshinhan and the Artificial Humans. Son Goku follows, seconds behind them. "Yamucha!" Blood continues to drip from the gaping wound in Yamucha's torso. The four of them stare in disbelief at their fallen comrade. The Artificial Human throws Yamucha into the street. Goku, "Kuririn. Yamucha's still alive, go back to where we left the senzu and feed one to Yamucha."

Kuririn walks over to Yamucha, lifting his head. He stares into Yamucha's dead eyes and gasps. He looks at the Artificial Humans for a moment, then picks up Yamucha and flies him away. The five remaining watch each other in silence before Piccolo breaks it. "So, you're the Artificial Humans. At least we now know what your ugly faces look like." The older one's face looks angry for a second, then returns to the previous, serious but uncaring expression. "That's strange, why do you think we're Artificial Humans? It also appears that you knew we would come to this island, too. Why? Tell us, please." Piccolo, "Why don't you force us to tell you?" The three of them get ready to fight as the Artificial Humans approach them. Goku, "There'd be too many victims if we fought here. Let's go where no one else is." He looks over to the Artificial Humans. "You too, okay?" The older one replies that he doesn't mind if no one's around. He begins shooting random eye beam laser attack things into buildings around the city. The explosions seem to accumulate into one giant explosion that's shown in an aerial view above the island. The fat Artificial Human ducks so that the older one can shoot around him. Goku gets pretty pissed off. "Stop it!" He attacks the older Artificial Human, knocking his hat off and causing him to fall back. Tenshinhan surveys the city, now pretty much just a flaming hole in the Earth.

Yamucha, now healed, watches from the cliff on which they all originally met for the battle. Bulma, "What was that, what just happened?" Gohan, Kuririn, Yajirobe all watch the scene, as well, but don't answer Bulma's question. After a few moments of silence, Yamucha speaks up. "It's them. The Artificial Humans did that." Half the city is on fire. Yamucha stands up. "That's horrible."

A young girl stands in the middle of the inferno, screaming for her mother. Someone (presumably her mother...) runs out and grabs her, just as flames jump out of a building nearby, flames that would have killed her had she still been standing there. The older one stands in silence, staring at Goku. Goku, "You bastards..." The Artificial Human steps forward and picks up his hat off the ground. "I just wanted to make a place where we could be alone. It looks like you don't like this place." Goku, "Follow me! I'll destroy both of you!" The fat one replies, "You cannot defeat us." The older one, "Alright, we'll go. Choose a place to die, Son Goku." Goku and Ten recoil, surprised that the Artificial Human knows their names. Ten, "Why do you know Goku's name?" The Artificial Human, "We know the rest of you, as well. Piccolo and Tenshinhan, correct?" Once again... surprise. Seems to happen quite often, wouldn't you say? Anyway, just then the police come roaring into the area. Goku, "We can find out why later." He powers up. "Let's go!" The other four follow him.

From the cliff, Kuririn, Yamucha, Gohan, Bulma, and Yajirobe watch Goku and his entourage fly away. Gohan, "That's father and the rest!" Yamucha, "The Artificial Humans are with them." Kuririn, "What?! I see... they're going to fight somewhere else." Yamucha, "This is bad. I have to tell them... They can steal your power!" Gohan turns and gapes at him in disbelief.

At Kame House, Muten Roshi and Oolong are enjoying a nice exercise show, but of course, they're not exercising. They giggle, eyes fixated on the television. They start doing the exercises with the show, but since they won't take their eyes off the TV, it doesn't work very well. Chaouzu sits behind the couch, worried about Tenshinhan. The exercise show is suddenly interrupted. "This just in." Roshi and Oolong both wonder what happened to their show. "Arenben Island, nine kilometers southwest of the Southern Capitol, has just been attacked by an unknown force." Roshi and Oolong sit back. Kamesennin, "He said nine kilometers southwest, didn't he?" Chaouzu jumps up and over the couch to come watch the news bulletin. "That's where everybody went!" Roshi, "So the Red Ribbon Army Artificial Humans really did show up." The TV, "We are unable to contact anyone there, but there has been heavy damage to property." Chaouzu, "Ten-san..." Kamesennin, "Don't worry, Goku's with them this time. I'm sure he'll easily win." Oolong, "That's right, he's the Super Saiya-jin. The strongest warrior in the universe." A look of relief washes over Chaouzu, and he smiles. "You're right." Muten Roshi, "Goku, we're counting on you again."

Goku looks behind him to make sure that his four companions are still behind him. They speed over water and islands, looking for a suitable place to do battle. Goku speeds up and everyone else follows suit. They fly past a dragon that almost falls out of the sky after being startled by the five of them flying by at such high speeds.

Back at the cliff, Kuririn asks, "Yamucha-san, what do you mean they can steal energy?" Yamucha clenches a fist. "I don't know exactly what happened, but just by grabbing me, I lost all of my strength." Bulma, "If that's true, than Dr. Gero has invented an amazing device." Gohan, "That's terrible. I have to go and warn them immediately." Yamucha, "To tell you the truth, I don't want to go. I'm sorry. They almost killed me, and I wasn't able to do a thing about it." Gohan flies away. Kuririn jumps into the air, "Gohan!!" He stops and turns around. "Yamucha-san, I'll go. I have to bring them the senzu." He follows after Gohan. Yamucha, "You don't realize how strong the Artificial Humans are." Bulma and Yajirobe watch him. "Damn! I'm not going to fight. I'm just going to watch." He powers up and flies off after everyone else. Yajirobe, "Fools..." Bulma, "Aren't you going?" Yajirobe, "Of course I'm not going." Bulma, "Why not? I've heard you're pretty strong!" She looks angry, or maybe just annoyed, that Yajirobe won't go. "And at a time like this, even one more person can make a big difference. Your friends and the whole Earth are in a big pinch!" Yajirobe is indifferent. "Probably." Bulma gets more angry. "Probably?! Doesn't this bother you at all?! You're horrible!" Yajirobe, "I can't fly." Bulma suddenly stops. "I see..."

Goku and co. fly onward, looking for a good place to fight. The older one, "What are you doing, Son Goku? How far are you going to go?" Goku looks back at him but doesn't reply. "This is far enough! You have no right to choose where we fight!" They all stop and the older one rants a bit more before the five of them land. Piccolo, "This is a high plain, but it's surrounded by a maze of rocky hills. They're planning to run away to the hills if the fight doesn't go right for them." Wind blows some dust around as the tension builds. Goku, "Before we fight, tell us how you know about us." Tenshinhan looks at Goku. "What's going on? Goku looks winded. All he did was fly here, so why..." Goku seems to be breathing harder and harder by the minute. The older one, "Alright, I'll tell you, even though you'll wish you'd never asked. Son Goku, we've followed your actions using a super small robot." A tiny robotic ladybug-looking thing fills the screen. It flies down to the Tenkaichi Budokai, where Son Goku is fighting Tenshinhan. Then behind Goku as he builds up his ki into a Kamehameha for Piccolo Daimaou. "Even when you were fighting Piccolo and Vegeta." Goku vs. Piccolo flashes on the screen in a still shot, then Goku vs. Raditsu, Goku vs. Nappa, and then Goku vs. Vegeta. "In other words, you've been studied ever since you destroyed the Red Ribbon Army, in order to determine what kind of Artificial Human it would take to defeat you." Son Gokoy, "You hate me?" Artificial Human, "Of course. You destroyed the Red Ribbon Army's chances of ruling the world, leaving only Dr. Gero." Piccolo, "You're speaking just as though you are Dr. Gero." Artificial Human, "Don't be ridiculous. I'm Artificial Human 20, created by Dr. Gero. Dr. Gero is dead. He no longer exists." Goku, "I see. Were you able to spy on the fight on Planet Namek?" Number 20, "That was unnecessary. By observing your actions through when you fought Vegeta, we've completely grasped your abilities. Even if you've gotten stronger since then, because of your age, we've calculated that you can't have gotten that much stronger."

Gohan, Kuririn, and Yamucha stop and look around, trying to find a sign of Goku, Piccolo, or Tenshinhan. Yamucha, "This is bad. They aren't fighting and they're controlling their ki. We can't tell where they are like this!" Kuririn, "Where are they?!"

Son Goku, "You forgot to research the most important thing. You've lost." Number 20, "What?!" Piccolo, "You've made a fatal mistake. You don't know a thing about the Super Saiya-jin." Artificial Human 20, "Super Saiya-jin?" Goku screams and begins powering up. His eyes turn turquoise, then his hair rises and turns gold. And, as with any good DBZ power up, the wind blows dust and clothing around for a while until he finishes powering up. Gohan, Kuririn, and Yamucha all suddenly turn around. Gohan, "They're over there!"

Goku stands in Super Saiya-jin while the others watch. Tenshinhan, "That's an incredible ki! Is that what Super Saiya-jin Goku is like?" Goku, "Both of you stay out of this. Their first goal is me." He powers up even more... Artificial Human 20, "You've gotten a lot stronger." The fat one steps forward. "Number 20, that appears to be a different technique than Kaio-ken." Number 20, "That's an interesting technique. Your power level is a lot higher than we calculated. But you are still not strong enough for us to be afraid of. Either number 19 or I acting alone could defeat you." Artificial Human 19 nods his agreement. Goku, "Really? Okay, show us how strong you are." He screams and lunges at them.
