Piccolo's Resolution!! The Final Measure He Had Held in Reserve

Kuririn watches silently as the Artificial Humans fly away. When they're out of sight, he remembers his fallen friends. "That's right, I have to help everyone." He jumps off the cliffside down to where everyone was. He first goes up to Tenshinhan and reaches inside the small pouch. "There's still six senzu left. Piccolo, Tenshinhan, and I all had two senzu." He kneels down and picks Ten up. "Hey, Tenshinhan, wake up."

Piccolo rubs his neck and Trunks examines the broken edge of his sword. He throws it away. Ten finally awakens and Kuririn feeds him a senzu. Kuririn looks over at Vegeta, then at the three senzu they've got left. "I guess I should give one to Vegeta, too."

Piccolo, "What?! Did you say they even knew about the senzu?" Ten, "What does that mean? If they knew about the senzu, why didn't they kill us? Were they trying to say that we weren't worth the effort to kill? They didn't even fight us!" Vegeta stands away from the group, back to the rest of them, apparently reflecting on the recent battle. Piccolo, "Of course. They're incredibly strong...they're too strong. I didn't think that they could be that strong." Vegeta gets angry listening to them. He suddenly flies off. Kuririn, "Vegeta!" Trunks goes to chase down his father, but Piccolo yells at him. "Trunks! Stop it! Don't chase him." Trunks suddenly stops and looks back at Piccolo. "Leave him alone for now." Trunks' blue/white aura dies down and he turns back to the others. "After he became a Super Saiya-jin, his absolute confidence and pride in himself returned. So when he was beaten by the girl Artificial Human, he received a huge shock to his pride." Tenshinhan, "I'm surprised that all of our training came to naught." Kuririn, "I'm sorry I wasn't even able to fight." Piccolo, "Don't worry about it. Even Trunks, who was a Super Saiya-jin, was pretty much taken out with a single attack." Kuririn, "Damn... if only Goku was still healthy." Ten, "He's the guy who was able to defeat Freezer easily. But he wasn't able to do a thing to the Artificial Humans." Trunks hangs his head. "To tell you the truth, no matter how strong Goku's gotten, I don't think he can be much stronger than Vegeta or Trunks. Not even Goku could beat them." Trunks, "They are a little different than the Artificial Humans I'm familiar with." Everyone suddenly stops and looks at him. Piccolo, "What do you mean?" Trunks, "They weren't that strong. I could fight them both for a while." Ten, "No matter, our future's black. What should we do now?" Piccolo, "You should go to Son Goku's house and move him somewhere safe. Our only chance to do anything depends on him healing." Kuririn, "You're right. What are you going to do, Piccolo?" Piccolo, "I don't know..." Kuririn, "Why do you look like that? Do you have some kind of plan? Tell us, Piccolo. We're on your side." Piccolo, "You're on my side? Don't make me mad!" Piccolo's reaction shocks everyone, and Kuririn shrinks back away. "When did I become your friend?" He forms a ki ball and there's an explosion between them all, but no one one is hurt. Piccolo jumps into the air. "Don't be foolish! I'm the devil. I'm just using you to help me conquer the world. Never forget that." Piccolo flies off. Ten, "That's right. He was Piccolo Daimaou, wasn't he? Even I forgot that he was the reborn Piccolo Daimaou. Damn that Piccolo... Is he still planning on taking over the world?" Kuririn, "I think he was lying about taking over the world. He's like Goku and Vegeta. He just wants to be stronger than anyone else. So he flew off to take advantage of his last secret weapon. Probably." Trunks is silent. Ten, "What's that? What's his last secret weapon?" Kuririn, "Piccolo flew off in that direction..." He points in the direction Piccolo went. "Do you know what's in that direction?" Ten, "In that direction? I can't think of anything. Is it somewhere I know?" Kuririn, "It's God's house." Ten, "God's house?" Kuririn, "What's that mean? I think you both know that Piccolo and God used to be the same person. They separated and that's how they were born, but the Piccolo we have now is the rebirth of the original Piccolo. When I was on the planet Namek, Saichorou told me that if he hadn't split into Kamisama and Piccolo, he would have easily been able to defeat the Saiya-jin. So I think he's gone off to rejoin with God." Ten, "What?" Kuririn, "God and Devil are going to rejoin to become the warrior of the Namekseijin. And Piccolo's gotten strong. He'll become a Super Namekseijin like Goku's become a Super Saiya-jin." Ten, "Super Namekseijin? But if Kamisama is gone, the Dragon Balls will be gone as well." Kuririn, "Yeah, you're right. However, if Piccolo or Kamisama gets killed, the Dragon Balls will disappear anyway. But if he really is going to rejoin with Kamisama, then he must have felt that the Artificial Humans are really incredible opponents. Piccolo hates Kamisama." Trunks, "But where did father... I mean, Vegeta, go?" Kuririn, "You don't need to hide it anymore. We all know that you are that baby that Bulma was carrying after he grows up. The only one who doesn't know is your father, Vegeta." Trunks, "Really... I'm sorry." Ten, "You don't need to apologize. Vegeta doesn't strike me as the type to run away after he loses a fight. He's like a solid ball of hardened pride. He needs to feed his pride. He's going to come up with new techniques and defeat the Artificial Humans later."

Vegeta flies low enough that the ground is torn up underneath him by the force of his passing by. "Damn those Artificial Humans... I'm going to make them regret that they let me live!"

"Please forget about me," the man on the TV show tells a girl. "I don't know when I can come back. Farewell." Woman, "I'll wait for you. No matter how long it takes, I'll wait for you!" The man walks away and the picture fades to blue with the word "tsudzuku" ("To be continued") in the bottom right of the TV screen. Maron and Kamesennin both wipe the tears away from their eyes. Maron, "Love is so beautiful." Roshi, "Love always wins in the end." A voice calls from outside. "Maron-chan!" They both turn around. Roshi, "What? Is Kuririn back?" Maron walks outside. A man is floating around on a small sailboat in the water. "I've looked for you, Maron-chan!" Maron, "Oh, it's Matt!" Another man pulls up in a speedboat. "Hey, Maron!" Maron, "Hi, Tommy!" More people come in on jet skis, surf boards... each one yelling out Maron's name. She runs out to them. One shouts, "I love you!" Others parachute in. "I've come for you!" Maron, "You've all come for me, haven't you?" Kamesennin watches through the window. "I'm so impressed! What is going on out there?!" Maron, "Wait just a second." She runs back into the house. Roshi, "Maron-chan, what's going on?" Maron, "I got bored, so I called my boyfriends." She runs out, pulling on a jacket and carrying a suitcase. "Are all these your boyfriends?" She hands the suitcase to the man in the speedboat. "Yeah, they've all proposed to me. I don't know which one to pick because they're all so cute." Muten Roshi falls out the window. Maron starts to leave with her entourage. "Everyone's waiting, so I have to go! Tell Kuririn goodbye for me. Bye!" And they all speed off. Umigame, "She's gone." Roshi, "This might be for the best. Even though she's not a bad kid, she wouldn't go well with Kuririn. Don't tell Kuririn that Maron came while he was gone." Umigame agrees. Roshi, "I just wish that... I'd been able to puff-puff her chest at least once while she was here!"

Kuririn, Tenshinhan, and Trunks speed through the sky. Kuririn, "Trunks, how long will it take for the medicine you gave Goku before he's all healed up?" Trunks, "It should only take Son Goku-san about ten days before he's cured." Kuririn, "Ten days... we should be able to hide him for that long." Trunks, "Hopefully." Kuririn, "But even with Goku, I'm starting to doubt we'll be able to win. But it looks like we're lucky that they don't have power level scanners." Trunks agrees and they race toward Goku's house.

Goku screams, tossing and turning wildly as he goes through another heart attack. Chichi, "Goku-san, are you okay?" He starts to calm down a little and Yamucha rubs his face with a wet rag. "Chichi, hurry and give him the medicine!" Chichi goes to look for it. "What? The medicine's gone! I can't find it!" Yamucha, "Isn't it right there?" She finally finds it. "So there it is." She opens the lid and runs over to Son Goku. "Goku-san, it's the medicine, take it." Son's breathing is still ragged, but his attack seems to be finished. He drifts off to sleep and Chichi and Yamucha breathe a sigh of relief. Chichi, "Goku-san. Please get better soon."

Bulma's mother sunbathes as Yajirobe, Gohan, Bulma, and Chibi Trunks arrive at the Capsule Corporation HQ. She looks over at them. "What? Bulma, Gohan-chan, Trunks-chan!" Bulma, "Momma!" They land a few feet away and Bulma runs up to her mother. "I'm home." Mother, "I'm glad your back! You've gotten so big, Gohan-chan." He scratches the back of his head. Bulma's mom runs up to Trunks. "Here I am!" She walks over to Gohan. "You get bigger and stronger everytime I see you. Enjoy yourself while you're here. I'll get some cake and tea ready!" Gohan avoids eye contact and shuffles his feet nervously. "You don't have to be bashful!" She walks back to the house. Gohan, "Excuse me..." She apparently doesn't hear him, and keeps walking. "I have to hurry back to father." Yajirobe, "Fine! I'll eat your share, too." Gohan, "Goodbye!" Bulma's mom runs back out. "He's gone already?" Bulma, "He's in a hurry." Bulma's mom, "I wonder why..." Bulma starts playing with Trunks. Gohan races home. "I don't do so well with her. I have to hurry." He speeds up.

Piccolo flies toward God's Shrine. It can finally be seen in the distance. Popo watches him from the top while Kamisama sits on his throne. "So Piccolo's finally made his decision. Long ago, Piccolo Daimaou and I used to be the same person. We were one genius martial artist. Then I discovered the existence of God and came here." Piccolo (young Piccolo, pre-fission) arrives at God's Shrine to meet with the current Kamisama. "Unfortunately, gods die, too. I wanted to be his successor. But no matter how hard I trained, he wouldn't accept me." God, "Deep in your heart, you still have the seed of evil. As long as there is any evil in you at all, I cannot accept you as the new Kamisama." Kami, "There was a small spot in my heart tainted with evil. The previous god had seen that. However, after long and hard training, I was able to eject that evil. That was Piccolo Daimaou. I became the god's successor."
At this point, my fansub cuts off, but I think there's only about two or three minutes left in the episode anyway. Using the episode recap on the next episode, I can tell you that Piccolo arrives and meets Popo, and then Kamisama appears out next to Popo and well, they stare at each other. Sorry, but I'll finish this as detailed as I normally do when the DVD becomes available. So anyway, next episode.
