Number 17 Is Swallowed... The Transforming Cell Is a Super Gormet

Cell's tail, still wet from the regeneration, swings around behind him. Number 18 is still shocked. Number 17 manages to climb to his feet. He clutches his left arm. Number 16 and Cell stare at each other. Cell's tail swings around in front of him. Some of the liquid falls off, burning a hole in the ground. The apparently acidic substance on Cell's tail doesn't frighten Number 16 in the least. "That means that to prevent you from becoming a Perfect being, I'll have to kill you." Cell, "Even though that is impossible." Number 16, "I'll never know unless I try." Cell, "I know." He raises his ki, an aura flaring up around him again.

Number 16 springs forward to attack and Cell jumps straight at him. Number 16 flips around so as to position himself for a kick. Cell jumps up, dodging the Artificial Human's foot. Cell comes up behind him and kicks Number 16. He jumps up to follow Number 16. Number 16 catches himself and flips back down to the ground, but just as he lands, Cell comes in with a punch. Number 16 slides back across the ground. Cell lands. His aura disappears. Number 16 is still. Number 18 watches, wide-eyed and mouth agape of course. Cell turns and looks over at Number 17. His mouth twists into a grin. His aura reappears. He leaps toward Number 17.

Number 16 quickly spins around. He points his fist at Cell. His wrist begins to emit a bright light and beeps. The hand flies off and punches Cell back. Number 16 runs up and retrieves his hand, snapping it back into place at the wrist. Cell falls to the ground, but Number 16 jumps up beside him and punches him. Cell drops to the ground a few feet over. Number 16 lands beside him and picks him up. He screams and throws Cell right back into the ground. And of course, Number 17, Number 18, and Tenshinhan all watch in amazement.

A nice, new crater occupies the spot where Cell hit the ground. As the dust from the impact settles, Number 16 crosses his arms, clasping both wrists between his chest and the opposite arm. He snaps off both hands and aims his stumps into the hole. The only sound is a light breeze and Number 16's arms charging up. "Hell's Flash!!" A huge yellow blast jumps forth from his arms. The entire area is given a yellow tint, and the crater that he's blasting grows even larger as a result of the blast. The entire island begins to break apart. The golden beam shoots straight up into the air. Tenshinhan almost loses his balance with all the shaking. The beam breaks out of the ground in other spots around Number 17. Three of them erupt within feet of Number 18. They begin to erupt all over the island.

Kuririn suddenly gasps and turns around. A yellow/gold dome covers some area off in the distance. "What a tremendous shockwave! What's going on? I'm sorry, it's not Piccolo's... His ki is gone... but just before... Cell? Or Number 17 and Number 18? Anyway, I'll hurry up and bring this controller. That's the only thing I can do now." He turns around and continues on. "Father..." Goku, "I felt it, too." Gohan, "Cell's ki became very small all of a sudden." Goku, "I don't know how, but we have to hold on here. Until Vegeta and Trunks finish their training."

Smoke rises from all over the island. Number 16 stares into the pit that Cell has fallen into. He reattaches his hands. Tenshinhan watches from his cliff. He's fallen to one knee as a result of all the ground shaking. "Unbelievable..." Number 17, "He annihilated him... Number 16..." Number 18, "Awesome..." Number 16 turns around. "Are you still here? I told you to run, Number 18!" She puts her hands on her hips. "It's alright now. You killed him." Number 16, "I didn't kill him, though he must have taken some damage. He wouldn't die from an attack like that. This is your chance! Number 17, you have to run, too!" Number 17, "Run? You've got to be kidding! He hurt me. I'm not leaving without giving him the scare of his life. He was damaged? Then I will strike him a mighty blow. Come out, you monster! What's the matter? Aren't you going to absorb me? I won't run and hide until I kill you!" Cell quietly raises out of a hole right behind Number 17. Tenshinhan gasps. "Watch your back, Number 17! There's Cell!"

It's too late. Cell's tail swings down, fanning back out on the way. Number 16 gasps. "I've come out, just as you wished!" The tail descends down upon Number 17. It covers him down to almost his waist. Cell lifts him off the ground. Number 17 screams and swings his legs around. Number 16 races toward Cell and Number 17. "Damn it!" Number 17's feet finally disappear into Cell's tail. A large bulge in the tail marks Number 17's progress in. Number 16 stops as soon as he realizes it's too late. Cell's eyes bulge and he screams. The bulge in his tail disappears. Number 17 reaches Cell's body itself. Number 16 gasps. Tenshinhan, "He swallowed him up..."

Cell's eyes are squeezed shut and he groans. His eyes open once again. Number 17 "falls" through the pupil, screaming. The spots and lines all over Cell's body begin to glow. The background suddenly turns very dark. Closeups are shown of Cell's face and the glowing spots on his body. A shockwave suddenly jumps out. The sky is a very dark blue, with a white dome around Cell. Number 16 shields his eyes from the bright light. Cell's hands transform. His feet shrink from the three-toed set up he had going to a single foot that looks somewhat like Piccolo's when he's wearing his little shoes, but much bigger and with a gray spot running down the top. The two structures atop Cell's head that formed the V shape pull closer in and run almost parallel each other. Number 16 spins around and heads for Number 18. "Let's run for it, Number 18!" She is completely still, transfixed. "What are you doing? Let's run!" She looks over at him, finally acknowledging his presence. Number 16 looks over at Tenshinhan. "You'd better run, as well." Tenshinhan gasps, apparently surprised by the Artificial Human's concern for his well-being.

Son Goku and Son Gohan follow the events from God's Shrine. Goku gasps. Gohan is speechless. Goku stands up. He looks back at Gohan. "Cell's ki just increased in an incredible way. Number 17 or Number 18... either one of them seems to have been absorbed." Gohan remains silent.

The transformation finishes up. A thin aura covers Cell's entire body for a moment, then fades. A glow continues to flash on and off all over him. Imperfect Cell looks a lot like Original Cell (yes, I realize they're both "imperfect," but this form needs a name, too). There are two main differences. He's much bigger and more muscular, and his face has changed drastically to look more human. Instead of that little...thing that he had for a mouth, he now has actual lips and a nose. As mentioned, the two V-structures have been pulled in closer together to run almost parallel. An orange/brown shape runs down from his ears across his chin and back up the other side, looking somewhat like a beard in its shape. He's much more buff now, too. His feet resemble those of a normal person more than they do a bird or a dinosaur now. His tail remains relatively unchanged. His wings have been pulled in a bit. And he's a hell of a lot stronger. Electrical currents continue to dance around his face as the transformation completes.

Tenshinhan can't do much more than stare at Imperfect Cell in amazement and awe. Cell's fists unclench. His attention turns to the other Artificial Human. "Let's run, Number 18!" Number 16 doesn't really give her the option. He turns, grabs her forcefully, and runs. Cell crouches down and leans in their direction, smiling. They run toward the edge of the island. Cell flies ahead of them, blocking their path. They stop and Number 16 lightly pushes Number 18 back. "What speed!" Tenshinhan, "Damn it! Damn it!" Cell lands in front of Number 16. Number 16 falls to his knees. "Did you think you could just run away from me?" Number 16 makes that pissed off clicking sound that's so popular with the DBZ cast in response.

Tenshinhan drops his arms to his side and unclenches his fists. "I'm sorry, Chaouzu. I might die." Cell stares at his reflection in the water. "I'm surprised myself by this wonder speed. Of course, it's because I absorbed Number 17. How about power?" He stands up and turns around. Number 16 throws everything he's got into a single punch that lands squarely in the middle of Cell's face. No effect. Number 16 gasps. Cell stares at him angrily, then smiles. Number 16 shrinks back. Cell sticks his arm out and blasts Number 16 in the head. Number 16 flies back several yards and then slides several more after landing. Number 18 gasps and turns around. Number 16 groans. He seems okay except for a little smoke until he lifts his head and we find that about a fourth of it is, well...gone. Electricity runs around the injury, and a few times, his entire robotic body glows so that we see it through his skin.

Cell opens and closes his fist. "This is great. This also powered me up as well." Number 18 looks back at him. "Well, that's it." He smiles. She stares at him. He laughs. "You're smart to know that it's no use for you to try to get away." A closeup of Cell's face is shown with Number 18's frightened reflection in his eyes. He licks his lips and his smile widens. Number 18 glares at him. "It's your turn now. Let's make a Perfect body together." He walks toward her. She slowly edges away from him. He keeps walking and she suddenly stops. She glares at him, then holds her hand out over her chest. He stops his advance. "Hmm?" Number 18, "If you get any closer than that, I'll blow myself up. You would be in trouble if I were to die, wouldn't you?" Cell glares angrily at her for a moment, then smiles. "Can you hear me, Number 18?" He speaks using Number 17's voice. "It's me, Number 17." She gasps. "I feel great after being united with Cell." An image of Number 17 appears above Cell. "It's wonderful. You should be absorbed soon as well. Only that way can you become an ultimate being." Number 18's hand drops. "Juu...Number 17?" Number 16, "Don't be deceived, Number 18!" She snaps back to reality. "He's just using Number 17's voice." Cell (in his own voice), "Don't say such preposterous things. Shut up. A robot can never understand how we truly feel." He looks back to Number 18. In Number 17's voice, "Let us all be united as one and attain the ultimate power, and fulfill Dr. Gero-sama's wish." She glares at him. "Let us kill Son Goku and place the entire world into our hands." Number 18, "You're not Number 17! We hated Dr. Gero, who remodeled us against our will. He would never call him 'Dr. Gero-sama', even by mistake!" Cell, "There's no way. I'll absorb you, even if it's by force." She raises her hand back to the kill switch. "You'd better stop this useless resistance. For you to fire an energy blast, you'll need a moment to build up the energy. It's possible for me to move faster than that and stop your suicide attempt." He laughs. "Give up." He takes a step forward. Number 18 takes a nervous step back, never moving her hand from the switch. Number 16 struggles to his feet. "Damn..." Cell takes a few steps closer to Number 18. She gets angrier and prepares to hit the switch. Cell suddenly stops. "Hmm?" He looks up into the sky.

Tenshinhan is floating above him, clenching and unclenching his fists. He quickly clasps his hands together. Cell looks up at him. "A small insect! What the hell are you going to do?" Ten's hands separate from a clasp to a triangle. The area between his hands is a broad range, including Cell near the bottom and the Artificial Humans at the top. Then Cell at the bottom. Then Cell completely fills the space between his hands. "SHIN KIKOHOU!" An electrical currently quickly runs over Ten's hands. Cell gasps. The entire area turns orange/yellow and his aura flares up around him. "HA!" The blast races toward Cell. Number 18 shields herself. A bright light engulfs Cell. Rocks and debris fly into the air. Number 18 is thrown back.

Son Goku, "This ki is...!" Gohan, "Tenshinhan-san's ki!" Goku, "Is Tenshinhan fighting Cell?"

Smoke and dust rise out of the hole in the ground that Cell has been thrown into. Number 16 is silent. Number 18 looks up at Tenshinhan in surprise. The hole is seen from above as a diamond shape. Tenshinhan breathes heavily. Number 18 stands up and looks at him. Ten, "What are you doing?! Run, quickly!" Cell jumps out of the hole. "Bastard!" Tenshinhan's ki flares up again. "HA!" Number 18 runs over to Number 16. Cell is thrown back into his hole. Number 18, "Can you fly?" In the background, Ten screams "HA!" again. Number 16, "Maybe." Another blast turns the area orange again. "HA!" Cell is thrown back down again. The Kikohou blasts just keep coming. "HA! HA! HA!" Everytime Cell tries to get out, he's thrown back down again. Ten breathes heavily, but smiles.

Son Goku, "Don't do this! Stop, stop, Tenshinhan! If you fire Kikohou anymore, you'll die!"

"HA!" Just as the area returns to normal color from that blast, another turns it orange again. "HA!" Cell keeps getting thrown down. Number 16 stands, watching Ten's efforts with Number 18. "HA! HA!" Areas of the ground begin to crumble. "HA!" Cell races out of the hole. "HA!" He flies up again. "Stop, Tenshinhan!" Cell flies up out of the hole again, met by another Kikohou. Up again, another Kikohou...
