Cell, Kneel! I Am Super Vegeta!!

Vegeta's fist plunges into Cell's stomach. He cries out, and his tail flails around behind him. The force of the hit causes a quick wind that blows Trunks' hair around. Vegeta, "Well? Are you yawning?" Cell, "This Saiya-jin monkey looks good." He laughs. "But with this kind of fighting force, you're a bit too proud." Vegeta looks up at him and smiles. "Am I?" He withdraws his fist. Cell howls in pain and staggers back. Vegeta runs up to him and yells, then uppercuts him from under the jaw. Cell flies back and Vegeta flies up to meet him. He gets behind Cell and hits him again. Cell cries out in pain again. Vegeta hits him in the back, then jumps around and lands in front of him. He punches Cell in the side of the head, then again, sending him flying back. Cell smiles and thrust forward with his fist, but Vegeta dodges it. He slides under Cell and grabs him by the ankle, then hurles Cell into the ground below.

Cell smashes into the island at about the same spot he was standing when the fight originally began. Number 18 gasps. Trunks smiles. The force from Cell's hit throws up another wind that once again blows Trunks' long hair around. The ground begins to break up and the ledge that Trunks was standing on collapses into the water. Trunks doesn't attempt to escape. "It's the result of my practice. Cell couldn't see Father's movements." Trunks finally hovers into the air as the ledge sinks. Number 18 stares in amazement. "I can't see Vegeta's movements." She looks up and sees Vegeta descending near Cell, who still hasn't gotten up. Cell finally sits up and turns when he hears Vegeta land behind him. He's furious. Vegeta smiles and Cell spins around the rest of the way for a complete 180. Trunks lands on a piece of rock sticking out of the water. Cell smiles, staring right at Vegeta, who smiles back. They stare at each other for a bit. "Cell, be more serious in the fight." Cell laughs. "Looks like you're not bad." Number 18 watches from behind her tree. A chipmunk climbs up on Number 16. He smiles at it.

Cell screams and flies straight at Vegeta. Without moving anything but his neck, Vegeta easily avoids the punch, and then the many more that follow. They slowly begin to hover and move up into the sky, with Cell going backward. Vegeta easily dodges each and every punch that Cell throws on their way up. Trunks, "That's all you get from practicing in that room?" He watches in slow motion as his father "slowly" dodges each punch. He flashes back to the Room of Spirit and Time.

Mirai Trunks screams and falls to the ground. Sweat drops from his face. He breathes hard and looks around. Suddenly, he's overcome by flames. They wrap around him and dance all around him. His hand hits the floor and the fire immediately spreads to it, so he pulls it back. He screams, then looks over at Vegeta. Vegeta's so hot that steam is rising from his skin. "Father!" He runs over to Vegeta. "Father!" As soon as he gets there, Vegeta swats him away and all returns to normal in the room. No more steam off Vegeta, no more fire. "Don't get in my way." Trunks falls to the ground. He looks up at Vegeta, who calls him an idiot and walks away. "Faaaaaatheeeeer!" He suddenly envisions giant ice spikes jumping out all around him. His entire body freezes up, then shatters, falling into a black void. A screaming Trunks follows it in.

A ripple erupts on the surface of some liquid (could it be...water!). Trunks sits on his hands and knees on the floor of the Room of Spirit and Time, breathing heavily. The entire area is bathed in a blue/green glow. Vegeta stands nearby, at a different angle (as if one of them is hanging from the wall), and the surface of the water is just beyond him. Vegeta, "I have to excel Super Saiya-jin. I have to rule the universe." He screams and turns Super Saiya-jin, his scream echoing throughout the room. He stands in the middle of whiteness now, his head thrown back, howling at nothing. Trunks watches in silence. Several shots of the room are shown. Trunks returns to the present. "Father. That's all for the result of practice in that room?" And once again, Vegeta's slow-motion dodges are shown.

Vegeta attacks, and Cell flies into a rock wall. He flies out over the water as Vegeta pursues. The battle is shown from afar. A giant dust cloud follows them around. Vegeta stands in shallow, ankle-deep water. "Well? That's all?" After several seconds, Cell emerges from the water. "Right. That's all....of your life." Vegeta smirks. He stands upright for a few seconds, then runs at Cell again.

Kuririn rushes to the island where the battle is taking place to blow up Number 18. He finally stops. "Right. That powerful ki belongs to Vegeta. It's even more powerful than Cell's. How come?" He gasps. "Right. That's what Goku referred to. A year's practice in a day." He looks down at the kill-switch controller in his hands. "Let's go and see." He starts flying toward the battle again.

Cell flies out of the water. Vegeta swings around from the side and smashes him right back down. Cell lands with a large splash and sinks. Vegeta dives in to follow him down. He grins and swims toward the sinking monster.

Bulma, "What did you say?! What's happened to Vegeta and Trunks?" Tenshinhan, "Amazing. That Cell is no longer a problem. He can beat him. He can destroy Cell in this way." Bulma walks over to them. "What's going on? Winning or losing?" She looks up at Tenshinhan, who has a big smile on his face. "Don't worry. Cell is under control." Bulma smiles and looks over at Piccolo, who is not quite as enthused as Tenshinhan and is muttering something to himself. Bulma's smile vanishes and she slowly backs away. "No, it's such a scary face." She looks down at Chibi Trunks. "Your father and you are so powerful." Chibi Trunks smiles. She rocks him back and forth. "Marvelous." She looks away, up to the sky. "Sure, you're completely concentrated on fighting." Piccolo grunts, and Chibi Trunks begins wailing again. She looks down at him and smiles. Piccolo, "That's the power which excels Super Saiya-jin? Is there such a big difference in my power?" He screams, his cry echoing throughout the area.

Son Gohan screams. Pieces of the floor begin to break up and lift into the air. He suddenly falls to the ground, breathing heavily. Son Goku, "More than that. That's only how your ki goes up." Gohan looks over at him. "You have to get angry to become a Super Saiya-jin." Gohan just stares at him. "Get angry. As angry as you can." Gohan stands up. "Even so, I can't get angry." Goku raises his hand to his chin and thinks for a moment. "Hmm... Alright, imagine me or Piccolo, or even Kuririn. Imagine that we're killed by Cell." Gohan hunches over and gets really angry for just a second, then stands up again and stops. "I've never seen Cell." Goku thinks again for a moment. "Just think it's Freezer, anyone will do." Gohan, "Okay." He growls and imagines Freezer. He remembers Freezer's blast, past Kuririn, past Piccolo, past himself and Vegeta, before it finally hits its target, Dende, instantly killing the young Namekseijin. He recalls the beam meant for Goku that Piccolo jumped in the way of. Freezer grins. Piccolo falls to the ground, unconscious. He thinks of the last seconds of the planet. Planet Namek begins to break apart. Son Goku throws his head back and screams, although no sound comes out of his mouth. Lava shoots up around him. His scream is finally heard for an instant before Planet Namek explodes. Suddenly, Son Gohan's hair turns golden and raises up into the air, for just a second. It quickly reverts back to normal black and he falls to his knees, panting. "No..." He falls down to supporthing himself on his hands. Goku walks over to him to help him up. The "camera" zooms out from the scene.

Explosions go up all over and around the island. Vegeta slowly rises out of the water and into the air. A few seconds later, Cell bursts forth, laughing. Water shoots up all around him. He swings his tail at Vegeta, but Vegeta dodges. He hits Cell, but Cell quickly recovers. Vegeta begins to hit Cell and jump away, moving so quickly that the only thing of him that's seen is the fist mark on Cell. He finally stops and hovers a few feet in front of Cell, who has his tail wrapped protectively around his legs and his arms crossed over his chest, with head ducked in as well. He opens his arms and pulls his head up, smiling. "From now on, I want you to taste what it's like in hell." Vegeta, "Good." Cell suddenly opens his mouth. A giant red ki blast escapes, and Vegeta throws up his arms to shield himself. He gets out of the way, and the blast explodes on the water. He's caught off guard when Cell jumps forward and punches him. Vegeta grunts and falls. Cell throws another mouth blast at him that explodes on the water and turns the entire area a tint of red for the next few seconds. Number 18, Number 16, and Trunks are silent. Cell laughs, thinking he's won. Trunks stares up at him. Cell finally notices. "Hmm?" He spins around.

Vegeta flies in from above and throws his entire body straight into Cell's torso, sending both of them falling to the ground. Vegeta jumps out of it and Cell catches himself on the ground. Number 18 finds a new hiding spot before Cell lands. Number 16 follows her and collapses. Cell flips around on the island before falling to the ground. Vegeta lands behind him with a smile. "That's the taste of hell?" Cell stands up. "Looks like you want me to be really ruthless." Vegeta, "I thought you'd started it. In that case, please excuse me." Cell chuckles. Trunks lifts into the air to get a better view of the battle. Cell's chuckle turns to a laugh. He throws his arms into the air, then brings them back down and smashes his tail down on the ground, turning everything blue.

Kuririn watches from the sky as the blue fades away. "What?!" Cell powers up with a blue/green aura that begins to break up the ground underneath him. Vegeta remains unafraid. He lifts into the air as the ground beneath him breaks up, but otherwise does not attempt escape or attack while Cell powers up. Number 16, "So Cell was hiding such a power." After the crater around Cell is finished expanding, Vegeta lands again. Cell laughs. Vegeta, "Your fighting force has gone up a lot. But, so what?" Cell doesn't reply. Blue/green lighting strikes a few times around him and the surrounding area. Trunks, "This time, Father will win for sure." Kuririn watches from the sky. "That's Vegeta? That's Cell? Both of them look like monsters."

A boulder lifts out of the ground and explodes. Cell leaps forward to attack Vegeta. Vegeta stands upright, not even bothering to avoid the hit. Cell throws a powerful punch that connects with Vegeta's face. Vegeta's head rolls with the punch, but he doesn't even move a step back. Cell smiles, but suddenly realizes his assault didn't bring about the desired result. He withdraws his fist. Vegeta turns back to him. A small line of blood runs down from the corner of Vegeta's grinning mouth. "So that's it, just as expected." He raises his gloved hand and wipes away the blood. "The practice has brought a big gap between our levels." Cell steps backward, away from Vegeta. "Impossible! You're Vegeta, aren't you?" Vegeta raises his hand and points back at himself with his thumb. "I am Super Vegeta." His aura flares up around him once again.
