I Can't Make Up My Mind!! Kuririn Maneuvers to Destroy Number 18

Kuririn still hovers high above the island. "Number 18 is around here?" He looks down at the kill-switch. "This controller can still be used. But where is she?" He looks around for her. "We must find Number 18 as soon as possible." He begins to fly around above the island, scanning the surface for any trace of the Artificial Humans. "It's big trouble if Cell finds Number 18." He looks down, back to the battle between Super Vegeta and Cell, where water is currently rushing into and dust in currently rising out of another new pothole on the Earth's surface.

Cell stands hunched over in the middle of the rising dust, screaming. His eyes are closed tightly. He throws his head back and roars at the sky. Sunlight shines down upon him. "DAMN IT!" The ground below him cracks. Debris flies out from around him. Kuririn, "Wow..." Vegeta watches calmly. The entire piece of land that Cell is standing on breaks apart and slides into the water. He finally stops screaming. He stands there in the center of the destruction, panting. "If I become a whole body..." Vegeta stares at Cell. "If I become a whole body, that man can never match me!"

Vegeta flies down to Cell. Cell looks back at him. Vegeta, "What did you say? You mean that if you become a whole body, then I can't beat you?" Cell turns to him. "That's right. Then I can't possibly lose in terms of speed, strength, techniques, wisdom and will power, and everything! I'll become Perfect. That's what the computer told me." Vegeta kicks him into a cliffside. He flies through it, opening a path through the rock wall, and rolls to a stop beyond it. He groans and pushes himself up. "Damn..." Vegeta lands behind him. "I won't lose if I become a whole body." Vegeta walks toward him. Cell stands up and clenches his fists. "Damn!!" Vegeta jumps up behind him and kicks him in the side of the head. He falls to the ground and slides through the dirt.

Number 18 watches in amazement and brushes her hair back. "Amazing. When he fought with me, he purposely reduced his strength?" Number 16, "No. He didn't have to do so. It looks like something has happened in these days." Number 18 turns around. "What?! What has happened to make him become this?"

Kuririn flies overhead. He looks back and forth, seeing nothing. He finally sees Number 18 and gasps. He stares down at the Artificial Human, who has her back turned to him. "I found her... She's here." His hand slowly opens, and the controller falls out. He flies down and catches it. He looks back down at the Artificial Humans. "No one found her? Cell, Vegeta, and even Trunks haven't noticed her?" He looks down at the kill switch. "Stop Number 18 with the controller, then destroy her. Then Cell cannot become a whole body and Number 18 can be defeated." He gulps and remembers what Bulma told him. "But it's only good for a distance within ten meters. Be careful. Within ten meters." Kuririn, "Alright!" He flies down to the island. He lands between some cliffs and trees, out of the Artificial Humans' sight, and nods to himself before continuing.

Cell grunts as he hits the ground again. He pulls his head out of the dirt and breathes heavily. Vegeta walks toward him at a leisurely pace. Cell jumps up. "If Number 18 can be absorbed..." Vegeta stretches his arm, palm out, facing right into Cell's back. Cell yelps. Vegeta smiles and blasts him. Cell screams and rides the ki ball for a few yards before falling to the ground and being lost in the ensuing explosion.

Kuririn slowly walks around the hills to Number 18. "Number 17, the boy, is gone. Only he was absorbed by Cell? So Cell's strength has gone up, and he's transformed, too." He slows down a bit as he nears the corner. Vegeta walks toward the settling dust cloud. Inside the cloud, Cell groans. He lifts a hand to the edge of the crater and pulls himself up. He pants and stares at Vegeta.

Kuririn tiptoes to the edge of the cliff and leans back up against it. He peers around the side and looks down at the Artificial Humans. He gasps and spins around. "I've found them! Don't let them see you. Go within the perimeter of ten meters." He looks back again. "You'll be dead meat if they find you." Number 18 stares intently at the battle. Kuririn flashes back to when she kissed him on the highway. His eyes go wide for a second and he gasps. He spins back behind the cliff. "At this crucial moment... What am I thinking?" A chipmunk sits on Kuririn's head. He squeals and reaches up for it, but the tail swings around. The chipmunk leans over and looks at Kuririn's face. He gasps. It jumps down off his head. "I'm shocked. Don't scare me." And the chipmunk runs off. He turns around the side of the cliff again and watches the chipmunk. "Idiot, don't go near the Artificial Humans!" The chipmunk runs over and sits on Number 16's shoulder. Number 16 doesn't react in any way, which, of course, surprises Kuririn.

Cell stares at Vegeta. Vegeta, "There's such a big gap between us. You think you can beat me just by becoming a whole body?" Cell, "I can beat you for sure, with your level of strength." Trunks watches from his ledge. "Father, has he..." Number 16, "Impossible!" Number 18, "Number 16, what's the matter?" Number 16, "Number 18, leave me behind. Run." She gasps. In the background, Kuririn is seen running behind a tree. He looks around the tree over to the Artificial Humans.

Cell laughs and climbs out of the hole. "You seem to be thinking hard." Vegeta is silent. Cell smiles. "Well, Vegeta. The Saiya-jin used to be a race of war. You love fighting, and the stronger your enemy, the greater the pleasure of war. Am I right?" Vegeta is silent. "No? You want very much to fight with me when I've become a whole body." Vegeta stares at Cell, and all other eyes are on Vegeta. Well, except Kuririn... he is, of course, staring at Number 18. Cell, "You would love to know who's best, because you are the Prince of the Saiya-jin, the warrior race."

Kuririn looks back around the tree at Number 18. His hands shake. "Within ten meters... Almost..." He runs out from behind his tree and up to another rock wall that's closer to the Artificial Humans. He looks out from behind his new wall. Neither Artificial Human has spotted him yet. He looks down at the controller. "Alright." His hands tremble. He looks back at Number 18. "Even if we use this controller to stop Number 18, if we don't destroy her, she will be absorbed by Cell." He envisions Cell picking Number 18 up by the head. "I think I can destroy her. It seems Number 16 can't move at all. We only have the chance now." He remembers her kissing him and rubs his cheek. He looks back at her. "Number 18 used to be a lovely girl. If only she hadn't been remade by Dr. Gero. She's so lovely, there's no reason to destroy her." He shakes his head. "If she's absorbed by Cell, he will become a whole body. All of the human beings in the world may be killed." He tries to push the button, but just can't bring himself to do it. "To destroy, not to destroy. To destroy, not to destroy. To destroy, not to destroy." His head begins spinning around. "Destroy... destroy... Destroy."

Son Goku and Son Gohan jump into a bath. "Gohan, it feels good, right?" Gohan, "Yes. It looks like all of my exhaustion is gone." He splashes water over his face and looks up at the "ceiling" or sky or whatever the room has. "But how are Kuririn-san and the others? I'm so uneasy not knowing what's happening outside." Goku, "Don't worry. Massage your legs and arms. It can take away your exhaustion." Gohan, "Okay." Goku, "But Gohan, you're so hard working. We've been here for two months." Gohan, "But Father, it's just four hours in the world outside. The Room of Spirit and Time is so amazing." Goku, "Right." Gohan, "Good. I have to be a Super Saiya-jin as soon as possible to help you train." Goku splashes Gohan and they both laugh. He splashes Gohan again. Gohan, "No," and he splashes Goku back. They laugh and begin to splash each other back and forth. "Alright, Gohan. Eat after you take a bath. Then we'll practice again." Gohan, "Okay!"

Kuririn's head stops spinning. He stares down at the controller with his fingers on the button. Number 18 watches the battle, clueless. "To destroy, not to destroy. Destroy..." Number 18 walks up to Kuririn on the highway. "Goodbye." She kisses him. Kuririn looks up at Number 18, then back at the controller. His hands tremble. Number 18, "Bye." He still stares at the controller. "She used to be a lovely girl." Number 18 kisses him. He shuts his eyes tightly. She kisses him. He stands, remembering the scene on the highway over and over again, and when he's not seeing the scene play out again, he's picturing her looking at him. Finally, his eyes open. He drops the controller to the ground. The clatter from its landing startles Number 18 and Number 16, and they both look over at Kuririn. Number 18 gasps. The chipmunk on Number 16's shoulder scurries away. Kuririn stares at them. Number 18, "It's you..." She looks down at what he dropped and gasps. "Isn't that a controller for emergency stop? Why is he holding it?" Kuririn stares at her in silence.

"Don't you want to fight with the whole body me, my Prince of the fighting race?" Vegeta closes his eyes and laughs. "I didn't know you knew so well about the Saiya-jin, too." Cell smiles. "That's because I have your cells in my body." Vegeta, "That's why?" Cell, "That's why." Trunks steps up to the edge of the cliff. Vegeta, "Alright. You're just lucky this time. You can become a whole body. Go." Trunks, "Father!" Vegeta, "Even if I beat you, who's just a good-for-nothing, there's nothing for me to be proud of." Cell grins. "Father, no! Don't do that! This is your biggest weakness!" Vegeta, "Shut up, Trunks. I can make you unable to say that forever and ever. My power has excelled Super Saiya-jin. I know best." To Cell, "Go." Cell smiles. He lifts into the air to go search for Number 18. "I'm waiting for you, Cell." Cell suddenly stops when Ultimate Super Saiya-jin Stage 2 Trunks blocks his path. "Even though Father let you go, I won't." Cell quivers with anger.

"Bulma-san, although you specially made the controller for this, I'm sorry." Number 18 stares at him wide-eyed. Kuririn pulls his leg up and brings it down on the controller, destroying it. Number 18 gasps. The controller smokes under Kuririn's foot. "Go now. Don't let Cell absorb you. Please don't." The Artificial Humans stare at him. Number 18, "Why? Why did you break the controller? That's the only way you can destroy me." Kuririn lowers his head, staring at the ground. "He is..." (Note: I don't know what the hell he's trying to say there, so you're not the only one confused by that...).

"Get lost. Why don't you save the time of standing in my way to help me find Number 18?" Trunks, "There's no need to find Number 18 now." Cell, "What?" Trunks, "You will be destroyed by me here." Cell, "What did you say? You're still so arrogant." He flies forward with a punch, but Trunks dodges, grabs his arm, and knees him in the stomach. He kicks Cell down, but Cell catches himself in midair. Vegeta, "Trunks. Get out of the way." Cell jets off in another direction. Trunks gets ahead of him and blocks his path again. Cell stops. "I said I'll destroy you here. Go out to fight squarely." Vegeta, "Trunks. I asked you to stop." Cell growls, then jumps back and throws a ki blast at Trunks. He bats it away, and it explodes in the water. "Father once told me my strength was similar to his. With your existing power, you can't beat me. Don't attempt it." Cell turns around and says in a horribly whiny voice, "Hey, Vegeta. Stop that bastard." His eyes widen when he sees Number 18 standing further back from Vegeta with her back to them. His mouth gapes open. "Number 18, I've got you." Trunks follows his line of sight and sees what Cell is staring at. He's shocked. "Damn it!"
