Mini-Goku is Precious! I'm Gohan

A snowy mountain rises over the calm Earth. Clouds drift by slowly over the land below. Sunlight glitters through the leaves of trees. Animals graze in a field, eating the grass. Children play in a small rural village while adults stand around, conversing. A truck drives by with a pile of hay on its bed. "Son Goku has broken Piccolo's dream of conquering the world. Five years have passed by very quickly. Life has gone on peacefully." The 'camera' moves up, staring off into the sky, and then further into outer space. "But a new crisis is about to occur." A ball of light streaks through space, racing past the sun. It enters the Earth's atmosphere, falling to the ground below.

Mini-Goku is Precious!
I'm Gohan

The area around Mt. Paozu is just as calm as the rest of the world. A bird glides through the air as a voice rings out. "Gohan-chan!" At the sound, a deer perks up. Some small birds fly through the trees, stopping briefly near a branch, then continuing. Smoke pours from the chimney of a small house. The voice calls out again. "Gohan-chan, come back to eat dinner!" She steps outside. "Gohan-chan? Gohan-chan!!'

A dark silhouette jumps from tree to tree, moving quickly through the forest. The figure lands in front of a tree. Moving from the boots on up, we eventually see the grinning face of Son Goku. "This tree is finally useful now." He crouches into a fighting stance, draws his fist back, and punches at the base of the tree with a loud scream. From above the forest, we see one of the many, many trees slowly topple. It crashes down, shaking the ground.

Chichi wanders around outside, cupping her hands over her mouth. "Gohan-chan!" She looks down and notices Goku trudging toward the house with a giant tree over his shoulder. "Thank you so much, you're finally back. Where's Gohan?" Goku drops the tree. "I'm starving already!" Chichi, "What are you talking about? Have you seen Gohan or not?" Goku, "I haven't." Chichi, "Then where did he run off to? If we don't have our meal right away, then we'll be late and Muten Roshi-sama will be upset." Goku, "Alright. Let me go and find him." Chichi, "I don't think he'll be too far away." [Then it gets a little messed up for a few seconds, and when it comes back...] Goku sets off to find Gohan as Chichi calls out after him, "Thank you!" She sighs and looks around. "There's really nothing I can do about this kid."

A farmer shovels hay into the back of his truck as birds feed on grass in the field. He takes off his hat and sighs. "It's almost over." He looks up into the sky. "Hm. Huh?" An object falls toward him, creating a roar that gradually grows louder. His mouth hangs open and his cigarette falls to the ground. A fireball races over his head, casting a red glow on the farmer and the area around him. He cries out in fear and surprise as the fireball hits the Earth nearby. The impact causes a huge explosion, and he screams again. "What the hell is that?! Was it a meteorite? Or some kind of UFO? Go check it out."

His truck races through the field toward the nearby landing site. It skids to a stop above the impact crater and the farmer jumps out, grabbing his gun. He walks over cautiously. At the bottom of the new hole is a white ball with a red circle on one side. Smoke rises off it. He peers down into the crater. "It's not a meteorite. What on earth was it?" One side of the ball begins to open, but the interior is still hidden from view by a blinding white light. Once again, the farmer is shocked and frightened. An arm reaches out from inside the pod and grasps the side; its owner pulls himself out and stands up, a dark silhouette against the light from inside. The farmer whimpers, frightened. Right now, the 'camera' is on the alien's "special area," so we can't ascertain much except that he's not wearing pants and he has some really, really long black hair. And the farmer, of course, screams again. The alien slowly rises out of the crater, landing softly in front of the farmer. We finally get to see the whole thing. The alien is, as mentioned, pants-less. He's wearing a set of armor that protects his torso, shoulders, and that aforementioned "special area," as well as a skin tight suit underneath it. Other than that, the only thing he's wearing is an odd device with a transparent green part that covers his left eye. The sun glints off the face of his little face device. [Then...it gets messed up again for a few more seconds. Not a very good fansub, is it?]

"Kakkarotto." The farmer screams. "Who...who are you?!" He pumps his rifle. The man reaches up and hits a button on the side of the device on his head. He reads off a power rating of five. "Don't come near! I'll kill you!" The alien takes a single step forward and the man pulls the trigger. Smirking, the alien reaches out and catches the bullet. He holds it between his fingers. The farmer screams; the alien flicks the bullet back at him, and it travels so quickly that it passes right through him and into his truck. The farmer flies into the grill of his ruined truck and collapses on the ground. "So it's just a fragile race." The device goes off and he looks over toward the right. "...with a guy who has immense power. A distance of 4880." He jumps into the air. "Kakkarotto!!"

A small child in yellow wanders through the forest. He wears a red cap on his head that's topped off with the four-star Dragon Ball. He rubs his eyes, crying. And...he has a tail. "Daddy... Daddy!!" He sits on the ground for a moment and stops crying, then suddenly starts again and races forward. He comes to a giant tree stump and sits down next to it. He stops crying and stares up into the dense foliage. A butterfly catches his attention and he watches as it lands on the tree stump. He smiles. "It's a butterfly!" It flies away and he jumps up onto the stump, jumping off on the other side to chase it. "Wait a minute!" The butterfly lands on a branch. As the child approaches the tree, he sees the butterfly perched on the branch. "It's flown so high up there. Okay!" He screams and runs forward, jumping at the tree. He grabs on, but only holds on for a second before sliding about a foot and a half to the ground. He jumps up and tries to climb it again, but slides back down once more. He walks around the tree, looking for a way up. As he comes full circle, he trips over a root and falls to the ground with a thud. He gets back up and brushes himself off, then looks up at the tree and watches sadly as the butterfly departs.

He wanders through the forest. In some nearby bushes, a rustling catches his attention and he stops. "Hm?" He looks over and cautiously approaches the bushes. They move again and he steps back, then approaches once more, even closer. Suddenly, an animal jumps out and he runs, screaming. He trips and falls down, then turns around and slowly edges away as a saber-toothed tiger bares its teeth and prepares to pounce. He whimpers. Saliva literally drips from the tiger's teeth. The child shuts his eyes. "Just pretend to die." He suddenly falls over. The tiger is caught off guard and looks at the child, growling "Eh?" He approaches and begins licking the "dead" child's face. He attempts to conceal his laughter. Suddenly, the tiger hunches over and all we see is the child's feet. After several seconds, he turns and runs away. When the child is satisfied that the tiger is gone, he sits up and and starts feeling his head. "Huh? Oh, my cap." He begins crying again. "My daddy gave me that." He jumps up, still crying, and chases the tiger. The tiger hears him and stops. "Huh?" It turns around, the cap hanging out of its mouth. The child rushes toward it, crying. He trips over a root but just rolls with it and jumps back up. The tiger screams and runs away - the child follows. The tiger runs through the forest, clutching the cap in its teeth, with the screaming child in hot pursuit. It looks back, sees the child gaining, and its eyes bulge. It leaps into the air over some bushes, the child just runs through. It jumps over a huge rock, the child continues. It suddenly takes a sharp right turn, and the child continues forward. He runs through some bushes, then out into the clear. He suddenly stops screaming and looks around. Below, he notices nothing but a long drop and he screams as he plummets. Before he even reaches the ground below, he falls asleep in mid-fall.

The child wakes up, hanging from a branch by his tail, his head just inches above solid rock. His grip on the branch slackens and he falls. He stands up, brushes himself off, and continues. A flock of birds flies over the forest as Son Goku wanders around, searching for his son. "Hey, Gohan!!" The child stops at a stream and tries to stick his foot in, but falls off his rock. He barely keeps from falling into the water by catching himself on an adjacent rock with his foot. After a few seconds of waving his arms around, he regains his balance.

The child wanders on, crying once again. "Daddy! Mommy!" He continues walking alongside the stream (though it has since widened into more of a small river than a stream), eventually coming to a log that juts out over the water. A bird rests on the end. He smiles. "It's a bird!" He runs over to the log and slowly walks out over the water. As he progresses, the log begins to tip. He lies down on the log, about a foot or so from the bird. He rests his head in his hands as he stares at it. "How beautiful." The bird barely acknowledges him. "My name is Son Gohan." The bird jumps up and Gohan reaches out to it. It flies away as Gohan is left to deal with a no longer balanced log. He falls into the water with a yelp. Upon resurfacing, he grabs the log, but it starts spinning. He screams. "Mommy! Daddy!"

Son Goku continues searching for Gohan. He suddenly stops when he sees Gohan's hat walking by on the other side of a bush. The tiger walks out from behind the bush, now wearing the cap on its head, and Goku calls out to it. "Hey, your cap is..." The tiger suddenly stops. It turns and glares at Goku. "That cap belongs to my son, Gohan." The tiger bares its teeth at Goku. "Where did you get it?" The tiger takes a step forward and Goku gets angry. "Where did you get it?!" The tiger jumps back, startled, and holds its paw to its mouth. The cap falls off and it runs away.

Gohan's log continues down the river, the current growing increasingly stronger. Gohan has managed to get a decent hold on it, but he hasn't been able to climb onto it. He goes over a slight drop and loses his grip, but quickly regains it. The log rams into a rock and Gohan is thrown under water. He resurfaces as the log drifts away. He screams and reaches out to it, grabbing it again. He begins to climb onto it as he goes over a waterfall, once again screaming. Meanwhile, Goku searches the area from atop Kintoun, looking back and forth for Gohan. Gohan holds onto his log, his eyes squeezed shut. "Daddy!! Mommy!" Kintoun skims over the water's surface, then back into the air. "Gohan! Gohan!" Gohan continues to drift downstream. "WAAAA!" Goku looks back and forth, finally spotting a log in the water. "Hm?" Gohan holds onto it, screaming. "Gohan!!" Gohan hears his name and looks up. "Daddy!" He's suddenly dunked underwater, but quickly jumps back up and grabs his log again. "Hold on, I'm coming to rescue you!" Kintoun swoops down and flies just above the water. "Gohan!" He reaches out, but it's too far. Gohan is too busy clinging to the log to offer his hand up to Goku. Kintoun flies alongside the log and Goku inches toward Gohan. "We're getting close..." And then he looks up and notices that the river runs into a cave. Gohan screams, but Kintoun has to take the high road. "Daddy!!" Kintoun flies over the cave. "Gohan!!" Gohan, "Mommy!!" Finally, Gohan sees the light at the end of the cave...though he sees nothing BUT the light. As he exits, he goes over another long drop, losing his log. He screams. "MOMMY!!" Kintoun finally comes over the cave and Goku gasps when he sees his son. The log plummets. "GOHAN!!" Kintoun flies straight down, trying to catch Gohan in time.

And then Goku is at the base of the waterfall. He looks around. "Gohan!" Water is thrown up all around him like a mist, and a rainbow arches over him. Gohan cries; Goku prepares to dive into the water before he hears his son and looks up behind him. "I'm so scared!!" High above the mouth of the cave, Gohan clings to a branch jutting out from the face of the cliff. He cries. "I'm very scared, I can't come down!" Kintoun slowly rises up next to Gohan. Goku sits cross-legged on his candy cloud. Gohan suddenly stops crying and looks up. As soon as he sees his father, he jumps up and into Goku's arms, crying. "Oh, Daddy! I was so afraid!" Goku, "Hm?" He stares down at the giant waterfall below, then he looks straight at the 'camera' with a bewildered expression. Finally, he looks down at Gohan. "Gohan, you..." Gohan looks up at him, then down at the waterfall, just as confused as Goku. "Hm?" He looks back at his father. "I don't know." His cap falls on his head and Goku says, "Gohan, let's go home. Your mother is so worried, and we have to go visit old man Kamesennin." Gohan looks up at him happily.

The alien continues flying toward the strong power he found earlier. He flies over a city where everyone's just going about their daily routine. He stares at it with disgust. "That Kakkarotto!"

All alone in the middle of no where, Piccolo stands on a small uplift, staring out at the empty expanse before him. His cape billows behind him. Suddenly, he senses something and spins around, a look of sheer surprise and horror on his face. "What on earth is that power?! It isn't Son Goku, is it?" The wind blows and the clouds move as the power source comes closer. "No..." The alien suddenly stops and lands in front of Piccolo. "So it's not Kakkarotto." Piccolo, "Who are you? What's brought you to see me?" Alien, "Nothing's brought me to see you." Piccolo, "Then why are you here? You want to get killed?" The alien grins and begins laughing. "That's very powerful, the way you talk." He hits the button on his little device again and it scans Piccolo. "A fighting force of 322. So there's someone like this here, as well. But you're still no match for me." Piccolo prepares to fight him, adopting a battle stance. "What did you say?! Do you know with whom you're talking?" The alien simply brushes him off, and Piccolo gets angry. The clouds move around behind the alien as he calmly watches Piccolo. "How can he have such incredible power?" A quick bulge suddenly runs down his right arm and he throws a fast ki blast at the alien. Piccolo grins, but quickly realizes he just had no effect. The dust clears and the only thing Piccolo damaged was the ground. "What a silly act. All you can do is stir up dust." Piccolo stares at him, wide-eyed and completely stunned. "So is it my turn now? Then I'll show you what a role model I am." He lifts his right arm up and Piccolo simply watches in silent horror.

Suddenly, the device on the alien's face goes off. "Another unbelievably strong power." He jumps into the air, leaving a bewildered Piccolo behind. "It's over there. The distance is 12909. It's huge. It's the strongest power on this planet. It must be Kakkarotto this time!" He flies off in the direction his device indicated. Left behind, Piccolo falls to the ground, sweating and breathing heavily. "Im...impossible. I shiver so badly that I can't move." The alien races above the clouds. "Can't he see the honor of being a Saiya-jin, the strongest warriors in the universe?" Against an orange/red background, the silhouette of a tailed baby with Goku's hair is placed into a small pod like the one the alien arrived in. As several people watch, the pod streaks across the sky. Inside, baby Son Goku sleeps. The alien grins. "Kakkarotto!"
